Excellent service from valuation to completion
I have nothing but praise for Nina’s estate agent, l have worked in the property industry for over 30 years including in estate agency and l decided to try Ninas when l had a property to sell which l have had excellent service at all times, l was updated at all viewings with feedback and all the staff l spoke with were excellent at all times but the star of Ninas has got to be Pauline! If you haven’t dealt within the Industry before then you wouldn’t understand that’s it’s all about the sales progression for your property to get to completion and that where Pauline come in,she chases the sale and chain weekly making sure you get a happy ending to your sale,always keeping you updated,believe me thats what make a big difference to Nina’s and other agents!

My mortgage broker was working on it. Received call from Nina estates saying seller declined my offer after 5 days. I spoke to David same day in the morning saying give me 24hrs I will provide mortgage in principal. Same day evening time received call from David seller declined offer.

Very rude. I was called regarding a property despite specifically saying I was to be emailed only. While on the phone I consulted with my partner regarding certain questions; the woman on the phone didn't like this and said to "call back when I'm prepared" and hung up with a very rude attitude. Wish I knew her name. They called at half 9am, when most people are working. If you don't have the patience for me to consult with my partner, then email like previously instructed, I had told her I was consulting my partner so there is no excuse. Some people cannot talk via phone for various reasons. Customer service training is very much needed.

Called Nina a couple of times recently regarding property. 1 of which I viewed yesterday. The first time I spoke to a lovely lady called Pauline who was very honest regarding the property I was enquiring about, which I found very refreshing and reassuring, evoking my trust in the agents. Me and my partner viewed a property yesterday with a gentleman, who I hope will forgive me as I can’t recall his name.
He was very knowledgeable about all aspects of the property and very professional. I’d highly recommend.

A few months ago I went to Nina's to search for a rental. I went to a viewing and filled out applications being honest about my bad credit and bankruptcy many years ago but hoping maybe I'd give it a shot with my fiance. After viewing the property, I was phoned with a call to say I was unsuccessful, asking why I was told it was due to the landlord knowing the other tenants. I asked Ninas was it anything to do with my credit, they replied "no, nothing at all". Anyway, through a source I have since then found out it was to do with my bad credit history and that "I would not be touched with a barge pole". I understand its a risk to take on a tenant with bad credit, but what I'm most disappointed by is the honesty and transparency I was not given by Nina's. I won't he using this agency again due to their dishonesty.

We didn't use Nina estate agents as we moved from Margam to Barry but the people we bought off were selling with Nina.
I'm putting this review on because Pauline we want to thankyou for your help. Pauline stayed in regular contact with us passing messages to her vendor's and their solicitors.We went through a very stressful move due to our solicitors but Pauline was always at the end of the phone sorting out our problems and always getting straight back to us. Seeing the professional and very responsive, friendly and accommodating manner we would highly recommend Nina estate agents we would also like to thank Joe for his help in issues we had after moving into new property again another helpful member of staff.

I purchased an apartment through my preferred estate agent (Peter Alan) and the then vendor of the apartment used Nina Estate Agents Ltd. to advertise the apartment for sale.
I purchased the apartment which I was and are still more than happy with, Nina Estate Agents Ltd. were good with the little involvement I had with them through the buying process and they provided a good service, however the apartment unbeknownst to me had several defects (now rectified) undisclosed to me through the buying process but the biggest issue occurred when water from the boiler was leaking which caused an obnoxious, toxic woman from the letting side of Nina Estate Agents Ltd. to call and inform me that the tenant downstairs complained of water coming through the ceiling (it were a few spots of water, it was nothing serious) and she was demanding me to call contractors out to find a quote to immediately repair the 'severe damage' that I was according to her responsible for, she then changed her mind abandoning that idea and then demanded a home insurance policy name and policy number to make a claim against me; she was shocked and angry to hear I didn't have a home insurance policy in place to cover any potential damage and demanded to know the reason why I didn't have a home insurance policy in place (I had collected the keys over one hour ago from her own workplace, she didn't accept this answer from me and she still didn't understand this fact that the apartment was sold under false advertisement) - this was within the first hour of collecting the keys which prompted me to revisit Nina Estate Agents Ltd. to talk about the issue about the listing of an apartment which was not accurately listed and was not as advertised (it's clear this estate agent does not inspect or have much to do with the state of any property, they just market property); it was resolved within no time as Nina herself was understanding and sympathetic to the situation and confirmed that the water leaking through the ceiling isn't severe providing the boiler is temporarily turned off as soon as possible and she had spoken to the obnoxious woman in the lettings department - reassuring me that it isn't an issue and apologised for the telephone call and the misunderstanding with the defects.
I still recommend Nina Estate Agents Ltd. as they do provide access to good services, advice and properties but ensure you do your own research and take care when dealing with buying any property (I learnt the hard way, I don't believe it was Nina Estate Agents Ltd. fault but more of the previous vendor and surveyors), though I didn't appreciate the toxicity of the woman from her lettings department; I bought my own home so as not to deal with toxic characters such as her anymore so I wouldn't recommend the letting side of this company from that experience only, but Nina Estate Agents Ltd. overall are good - be cautious.

I’ve witnessed shocking business practice by this company on two occasions now (the latest this morning and prompting this review).
Viewing scheduled was supposedly cancelled via email on the morning. No email received and my mother in law had already travelled 150+ miles for the viewing (which they knew). That isn’t how you do business.
Secondly, the company and its representative employees are incapable of providing accurate and objective valuations of the properties they sell. The price of the property referred to above was about £25-30k over the going market rate for similar spec (listing incorrectly stated the house was semi-detached in the first instance when in fact it was end terrace). Similarly they valued our property ~2 years ago at about £20-30k less than market value (again, wrongfully assuming our house was a 3 bed and not a 4 bed). These are the basics of any estate agent.
I would not recommend this company to anyone wishing to buy/sell in the Barry area as it is evident in at least my interactions with the company that they are incompetent at doing the basics of their job.

I had a very mixed experience with Nina's. Joanne who showed around my house was an absolute sweetheart, had a lot of time for me and pretty much sold me the house based on her fab customer service.
Unfortunately she only works part-time and has nothing to do with the actual sale of the properties. My purchase was fraught with difficulties caused by my vendor, but sadly the 'Senior Negotiator' in the office didn't make the situation any easier at all! In stark contrast to Joanne's warmth she was frosty and quite bad tempered.
If it were based on Joanne alone, I'd have definitely given 5*
(I did meet Nina and her husband, and they seemed quite nice to be fair).

Having gone along and spoken to all the various estate agents along the high street in Barry, all of whom seemed welcoming and wanting to help find a property, Nina estate agent was the only one who, when we visited were told all our properties are on rightmove website.
That was it, no offer to show us properties currently on sale or take our details.
My partner and I were at odds with the mostly pleasant reviews that I had received from friends, both from using Nina and from them knowing the staff personally.
Needless to say, based on this interaction with the staff we steered away from purchasing with Nina.
We did however relent from this opinion and view 2 properties with them and the staff that came out to the property was on time, friendly and helpful.

I am so impressed with the service I have had with Nina's estate agents. They have made my house sale smooth and stress free and I really can not believe how quickly everything has moved. My house was stc within 24 hours of marketing and has completed on week 6. Amazing!!!! A special shout out to Pauline who has helped me so much with getting the house ready to sell.

We dealt with Pauline for our house move, and from the initial viewing to the days we picked up the keys she was amazing! Always in contact to offer us help and answer one of the many questions we had.
With the first viewing she offered tips and advice on what she felt we could do with the house to help us put a picture together of how we could make it a home, and even let us view the property numerous times once we had an offer accepted for us to measure and show other family members.
I would reccomend Pauline and ninas to anyone who is looking to buy or sell because they made everything so easy!

Worse customer service ever!! No help or advice on viewings. Clearly a lack of communication between staff in office as one tells you one thing and another something completely different. Will not use this company ever again and would strongly advise friends and family the same.. Far better service from other agents in town!!

Worst customer service by far. If you plan to rent a property with them make sure every conversation is via email as they go back on things they say over the phone. Also make sure when they 'welcome' you to your new home that they have your copy of the itinerary with them as Jackie didn't have mine and promised to post a copy to me. My copy was then amended from the original to change a point which was previously different and only posted 18 months later when I requested it. Luckily later conversations were via email which subsequently saved me a lot of hassle when she tried to backtrack once again.
Tenants/ landlords - rent elsewhere or request a different agent!

Unbelievably bad !!
I placed an offer for a property for a lot of money with them , early one day, about 5 hours later no response from them regarding the seller decision, I then phoned them , no answer for about ten calls , then straight to voicemail, left a message, few hours later no return call , after 8 hours and nearly closing time of business, I tried again , someone answered, oh yes she declined the offer , i was fuming , if I saw a property with Ninas from then on I simply rejected it , THE worst customer service I've ever dealt with . Go elsewhere

Nina herself was a pleasure to deal with, but on some viewings I found her staff lacking in knowledge or enthusiasm. Lovely looking office and to be fair they made me feel really welcome. 1 star dropped for the viewings and another for the small and very high window display (I'm really small!).
