I rented a room a while ago. I had a terrible experience with Harry Harper, abusive fees. following their contract they have to let them know at least 24 hours in advance if someone is coming to see your propety, they didn´t. I had problems with the internet as it was so slow and they only thing that Jordan Parry said was " talk to the other tenants" .
In winter they window of my bedroom was broken and too cold inside and i had to repair by my self and after i talked to the landlord.
I had to change my rota at work to meet one of the their agents I received a call the last minute saying that the agent was sick.
they always were late in our appointment.
I had to pay after the first 6 months to renew the contract almost 200 Pounds the following time almost 300 pounds for nothing ( they dont explain you why I had to pay that amount)They don´t explain anything or help at all.. you have to pay them a fee if you change to a job, I you have to pay them 30 pounds for references if you need for another agency.
I had a TERRIBLE experience with this agency, the only nice person was Sita Kaur, She was the only polite and helpful person in this agency.
they are just want to earn money.

I have used CS Properties for over 5 years. I live the other side of the country from my rental property and they have handled it from day 1. Without doubt they are a tremendously reliable company, the staff are consistently efficient, courteous, and pleasant to deal with.
When issues have arisen with the property they have been quick to alert me and manage the issue through to successful resolution.
Could not do this without them and they make the whole thing a professional and personal relationship. Could not praise them higher.
Avoid this company don't use them they won't give you the holding fee back if they decline you. That's £200 of your money basicly stolen Avoid at all costs will tell everyone i meet very Disappointed
Great service, gave a much better valuation than other local estate agents and came through with a sale near that price. If I'd have gone with other valuations from other agents I would have been receiving about 15-20% less than what I received. Ben gave a very confident valuation and showed he had done his market research which is why I placed the property with them. Would highly recommend.
Disappointed with the service we got, promised an open day but didn't get it, had a viewing on Good Friday an offer received the following Wednesday after I had told them on the Tuesday I was not happy with the fact they brought some to view my house whose home was not even on the market let alone sold. Left the offer on the table but I had to go into the office to ask for the offer letter which I was given on plain paper and not even signed, then had 2 more viewings that were generally time wasters who hadn't even read the details on the house. At the end of July we terminated our contract as the house was not sold. Also apart from the internet and the shop window never saw my house advertised anywhere else.
I just popped in to Peter Alan's Barry branch and sat down with a lovely girl called Amy. She offered me so much advise on a difficult situation for me and seemed really caring. Of all the questions I had she seemed very knowledgeable and knew the area really well. When the time is right for me to get back on the property ladder, Peter Alan in Barry will be the first place I go to especially after finding out I can sort out the mortgage through their in house mortgage advisor. I really appreciated the time Amy gave to me this morning.
Didn't turn up to my viewing the other day and not called me since.
Top team, as a landlord I respect their advice, especially after the government introduced Rent Smart Wales.
Very poor customer service on the phone and in person. Staff answering the phone make a minimal effort to help and certainly do not come across as friendly and professional. The lack of professionalism and customer service stands out like a sore thumb in comparison to other estate and letting agencies in Barry. Whenever i see a house listed under priory I instantly get put off as I dont want to deal with this estate agency. Surely the amount of negative reviews they have already had would push them to achieve better but clearly not
