10th Mar 2025 (16 days ago)We tried 2 other estate agents without any success before we went with Harris & Birt. We initially met Caroline when we viewed a property Harris & Birt were selling, & both my husband & I were very impressed with her so we decided to sell our house with Harris & Birt. Firstly, they sold our house almost immediately, & secondly the communication from Caroline has been fantastic. We have never had to chase her for information, she dealt with the sales progression as well which was a real bonus and she went out of her way to push the sale along. Her attention to detail & commitment to us as the vendors has been outstanding. Now we’re about to move out & she’s even found someone to clean the oven when the oven cleaner we booked let us down. Harris & Birt are without doubt second to none & if you’re looking for an estate agent you can rely on I strongly recommend you try Harris & Birt.

Despite the bottom of the chain falling through initially when they could not keep up their end of the transaction, Sarah kept with it and ensured that a new chain went through successfully. Very professional and always kept me in touch with developments.

And in particular to Chirag who has shown me several properties over the last two days, who has been informed regarding the properties I viewed, given me practical knowledge on the area and has been personable & polite at all times. However, communication with the agents was always prompt and friendly and detailed feedback was provided on viewings.

18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. 27th Feb 2025 (27 days ago)Absolutely over the moon with the service I’ve received—couldn’t be happier! Graham and the Nicholson’s team are some of the most genuine and trustworthy professionals I’ve ever come across. I first approached them late last year about a property they had available. I made an offer below the asking price, and after some negotiation, it was accepted. The property was leasehold, and throughout the sales process, several obstacles arose—at times, it felt like the deal was on the verge of falling through. However, I cannot fault Graham and the team in any way. Their professionalism, persistence, and problem-solving ensured a successful outcome. Finding an estate agent who is both honest and reliable is rare these days, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have come across this exceptional team. Graham, in particular, has gone above and beyond. He has always been available, no matter the time—whether it’s 8 PM in the evening or on a Sunday, he has never hesitated to assist. That level of dedication is almost unheard of in this industry. I highly recommend Nicholson’s and all the services they offer. It’s been a privilege working with them, and I look forward to any future dealings!
26th Oct 2024 (22 weeks ago)We didn't end up purchasing with David Baker due to unforeseen complication near to completion, however we feel we need to write a review on how good they're. Most estate agents view every interaction as a single event and can be quite abrupt and unprofessional, some even lying about houses and offers and don't appreciate even if you're not a customer of theirs at this time, you could well be in the future. I'm glad to say this is not the case with David Baker. Craig,Charles,Debbie were great - whilst they obviously put the vendor 1st, they treated every viewing & communication with us in a very professional way. Even though we didn't purchase with them we have already recommended them twice to friends and they would definitely be our 1st point of contact if we ever come to sell our house in Penarth in the future. Their staff are really a credit to their company
2nd Sep 2024 (6 mo. ago)This is the first time we have used Moving You after Andy and his team were recommended to us by our daughter who had used him in the past. I have to say that from start to finish the service we had was brilliant. Andy carried out the initial valuation whilst Nicola took the images ready for marketing. Both then carried out viewings on our behalf. Andy's marketing is great - across all the usual platforms and all over social media. Unlike many Estate Agents he was able to offer appointments at weekends as well as during the week and Nicola was a brilliant person to have accompanying viewers. We sold in just a month, in a challenging market, at just over the asking price and from then on the process was smooth and efficient. Andy's online portal was a great help and he was only ever a phone call away if we needed to discuss anything with him. We have bought and sold a number of houses over the last 20 years and while our other estate agents were great, I really feel that Andy was worth all the commission he and Nicola earned. I won't hesitate to recommend his agency to anyone who may need it. Thanks Guys
25th Oct 2024 (22 weeks ago)This is now my second time using Martin & Co Cardiff, having purchased my home with them just over 2 years ago and now selling my home as I move in with a partner. Once again Martin & Co live up to expectations in their area of expertise, managing to secure a sale in record time for my property where another agent wasn't able to. Henry and Astrid were both great to work with and got everything done with no fuss - and act as a great bridge between buyer and seller. Highly recommend.
18th Mar 2025 (8 days ago)Flying Keys have been amazing through out, we moved from Sri Lanka to UK in 2023, then in 2025 we have left UK and moved to Australia, until to date, communication has been splendid, these guys go out of their ways to help in every way. I have spoken to them from Sri Lanka before departing and after leaving UK I have spoken to them from here in Australia the communication is still the same. There is one puticular person who stands out from the crowd, that's Jaz, she has been incredible throughout and help us in many ways, I have no words. She is a big asset to the company, and previledged to have her in their team. Jaz was very practical and helped us through out our tenancy with utmost urgency. We have reached out to her from Australia after we left the property, she still revert back to us in lightening speed, gave us good refferals so it helps us immensely in securing a property here. Flying keys have been tremendous for us, we really are going to miss you guys. We have found a special place in our hearts for the Welsh people. Truly remarkable community. Cheers Gayathri & Roshane
