7th Apr 2026 (27 days ago)I enquired about a property I could comfortably afford, but the way I was spoken to by one staff member was completely unacceptable. While I understand there are legal procedures to follow, there is no excuse for being rude, raising your voice, or speaking to someone as if they are lying about their finances. A second staff member later called and explained the same procedures in a calm and respectful manner, which just highlights how unprofessional the first interaction was. Based on this experience alone, I would not feel comfortable having this estate agent manage a property I live in.
19th Jan 2026 (15 weeks ago)I have been a client of lettings2sales for 20 years so can speak from experience here , originally met Mike and put a property on for rental which was fantastic and then did the same with a couple more . Always had fab tenants and kept updated to by the team . In latter years have also sold property as now wanting to retire and again have been kept informed on the process . I do not hesitate to recommend letting2sales to anyone thinking of letting or selling and thank Mike , Hannah and Sarah and Sue now retired for many years of great service thank you all .

The whole process—from viewing the property to completing referencing checks and receiving the keys—was incredibly quick and seamless. Ebony and her colleagues kept me updated every step of the way, which made everything feel easy and stress-free. What really stands out is how responsive and approachable the team are. Any property issues are handled quickly, and maintenance is arranged without delay. It’s clear they genuinely care about their tenants and providing a great service. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough—an excellent experience from start to finish.

They were incredibly knowledgeable about the local area and made all costs clear right from the beginning, which I really appreciated. My property was off the market within two weeks of our first meeting, which speaks volumes about their efficiency and expertise. Throughout the process, they were always available whenever I needed them, approachable, responsive, and genuinely helpful. A perfect balance of friendly and professional service. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them!

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. 17th Apr 2026 (17 days ago)Because of David baker we lost access to £6000. We put an offer on a house. No chain our side. We had the stamp duty and moving costs covered by work. It was turned down and offered to someone else, who offered the same becuase “we weren’t local enough and the seller wants to sell local”. Not once were we asked our links to the area. (My mum lives 4 mins walk away, my aunties and cousins all live here. We are a small family who use the local nursery). The person who won the bid pulled out two weeks later. David baker came back saying we can put in an offer, but there’s someone else involved now and we have to do our best and final and see if we outbid them or not. On the grounds of - I don’t want this other person to have to be pushed to pay more than they need if DB will sell to them anyway, and blind bids are a terrible way to make scared people pay much more than they need we did not offer more. And let the other people have it without pressure of hiking their bid (assuming DB told them theirs was the only bid left). We then had to rent as time was upon us and our work offer of £6000 towards the house timed out. We bought after this in Penarth. They have a star becuase they do always show up to an appointment. Even if they don’t do what’s best for me as the buyer or the seller.

27th Mar 2026 (5 weeks ago)THE RUDEST ESTATE AGENT I HAVE EVER COME ACCROSS IN MY LIFE! Usually you would expect to be welcomed to to a property you are looking to buy, invited to park on the drive so you can see what it would be like to live there. Not Claudia Romano, who arrives 1 minute before the appointment, shouting out of her car door, "I'M THE ESTATE AGENT SO I GET TO PARK THERE!". And then, once we have driven around and finally found somewhere to park, has the cheek to tell us that we're late and we will not have a full appointment - when we were there first! Prospective sellers - avoid at all costs!!!
