Excellent service. When moving out of one of their properties, they kept us updated when there was a viewing and came to our new home to collect the keys rather than make us meet them at the property or their office. What I was particularly impressed by was the speed in which we received our holding deposit back, in full. I feared we'd be waiting a while after hearing a few horror stories from friends who had recently moved, describing what a nightmare they had getting their deposit back from their estate agents, and that they didn't receive it in full. Ours was in our bank account 4 days after moving. Will definitely use this lot again! Particular thanks to Enver and Raste.
I was disappointed to have been stood up as the agent didn't arrive on time in the middle of my tight schedule then to be harassed with phone calls with a text message telling me;
'You have one opportunity to call back and apologise or I will find you'.
In additional to the threat (that I will be sending forward to the local trading standards), they sent a message via whatsapp sending a picture of myself (from my profile picture) with the message;
'I know what you look like'.
Is it appropriate to speak to a potential client that way? They certainly sent a shockwave of unprofessionalism that I had never experienced before.
Avoid this cowboy agency!

We have been extremely impressed with Belinda and her team. We have relocated and Belinda has ensured that everything has gone extremely smoothly. In fact if it had not been for her we would not have been able to move in the small window of time that we had available due to her tenacity and initiative. Belinda went above and beyond what was in her remit. We will always be grateful for the effort she put in and the personal touch with communication that she gave us to keep us in the loop which was very reassuring when you are 120 miles away. We did not actually instruct Chewton Rose but they were the agents we were buying through and I think it says a lot for Belinda’s exceptional service and professionalism. I would not hesitate to instruct Belinda and her team to sell our house in the future (if we can ever face a move again!) 5 star service all round!
My girlfriend and I can only commend the approachable and personable services that Cooksleys has to offer. Considering the complex nature of our particular letting process, the team's relaxed and problem-solving attitudes made what seemed initially an intimating process into an exciting and stress free experience. Unlike some other letting agencies, it is always relieving to finally meet an agency actually wanting to help and find a solution when others have always sought to blockade. Worst customer service by far. If you plan to rent a property with them make sure every conversation is via email as they go back on things they say over the phone. Also make sure when they 'welcome' you to your new home that they have your copy of the itinerary with them as Jackie didn't have mine and promised to post a copy to me. My copy was then amended from the original to change a point which was previously different and only posted 18 months later when I requested it. Luckily later conversations were via email which subsequently saved me a lot of hassle when she tried to backtrack once again.
Tenants/ landlords - rent elsewhere or request a different agent!
