Despite a good choice of Estate Agents in Berkhamsted, after having initial discussions with most of them, we were left with no doubt in our mind who to go with.
In the past we have had bad experiences with Estate Agents, and so the honesty, enthusiasm and professionalism of Michael Oakley and his team at Oakleys Estate Agents was both refreshing and restorative.
From the initial talks about how to market the property for optimum results, the way in which the viewings are organised, the expertise of the viewing staff, the communication throughout the sales process with the sales progression team and even the after sales care is second to none.
The staff at Oakleys are always on hand to answer any questions and it was easy to stay in touch by phone or email with prompt replies.
They are also patient and understanding when any issues arise and help resolve problems with care and speed.
Oakleys provided an incredible service offering fantastic value for money.
Their expert viewing staff are as enthusiastic about the sale as the vendor, ensure they are well informed about the property and surrounding areas and their hard work helped to sell our house for over the asking price.
I don't think we could ask for a better service, and I think that Michael and his team at Oakleys have set the bar incredibly high for our future expectations.
I would highly recommend using Oakleys Estate Agents to anyone thinking about selling their house.
I never thought I would say this about an Estate Agent ( Sorry ) but it was an actual pleasure and incredibly exciting and rewarding experience throughout the whole process.

Michael and the team did a great job in sometimes fraught circumstances - in fact, they sold our house 3 times in less than 3 weeks of active selling. Realistic advice and valuations, good marketing details and local knowledge all added up.
Good, solid communication from everyone on the team right through, and Michael was very hands-on and accessible when the various crunch points came along.
Highly recommended, and competitively priced compared to the chain agents.

From our house sale perspective we appreciated the up front and direct discussions and guidance re: marketing strategy and price positioning , and were very pleased with the resultant quick sale and price achieved.
We were reassured by Micheal's personal involvement during all sale negotiations , and his ongoing accessibility. Good communication continued with the sale progression team leading to exchange.

I have recently sold a Berkhamsted property though Oakleys Estate Agency. I have had many dealings with Oakleys over a number of years - and have always returned to them due to the excellent level of personal service they offer. Michael himself is very personable and has excellent local knowledge, contacts and awareness of potential buyers and sellers at any one time. He is supported by excellent Marketing and a very responsive team who progress transactions and overcome any difficulties in a timely and efficient manner. I would recommend them wholeheartedly.
