The verbal valuation that we received was £25K higher than the valuation that we received on paper from Oakleys (24 hours later).
After one month with lots of viewings but no offers we decided to change agent and accepted an offer above asking price within 3 days of being on the market.
They have a good reputation in the area but we were disappointed.

Whole process went very smoothly. We used Oakleys to both sell our property and purchase the new one. Michael was very helpful throughout and offered support as and when needed. The office staff were also very helpful and efficient and listened to my queries and issues as they arose. We hadn't moved for 40 years and they helped us get through this stressful period.

We used Oakleys for our recent sale (and Purchase). We were extremely happy with the excellent service they provided. From the initial well informed valuation meeting with Gemma, through to dropping off (and picking up) our keys on move day, we were constantly kept up to date with appointments and updates. We have moved a few times and this was our first time using Oakleys. I can honestly say that their service if far above and beyond other estate agents. They are friendly, professional and great at what they do. The marketing of our property was excellent and we decided to have the video done of our home that we were selling which was also great.

Hands down the best estate agent in Berkhamsted. I have run an estate agency in Westminster for over 20yrs, I seen have seen a lot during this time and I can honestly say everyone in the team is exceptional. We purchased through Oakleys and sold through Ashtons, I only wish I had dealt with Oakleys before we instructed Ashtons as they were certainly not 5 stars. Well done everyone at Oakleys, I will certainly use your services again and be recommending you.

We are so indebted to Michael and the whole Oakley's team regarding the sales of our house. Michael's valuation estimate elwas spot on, the marketing and price strategy very effective and the house was sold within on week. Beyond that Michael was amazing to deal with, always there to answer questions and any concerns and give us advice that put us at ease at every step of the way. He also was instrumental in our follow-on purchase, which he didn't need to do, but no doubt that we wouldn't have been able to buy our new house without Michael and Oakley's, in addition to us selling our home. Thank you so much Michael and Oakley's team, I couldn't recommend you more!

Michael and the team made selling my house a great experience. Michael was very credible in his explanation about his approach for maximising interest, and that gave me confidence. His strategy was successful! The progression team had to navigate some difficult and awkward issues during the sale, but they did so with professionalism and were always friendly and helpful, and their experience and advice were invaluable.
