All the team at Brown and Merry Berkhamsted were very good at making our house sale happen, in particular Amir the Senior Branch Manager. Their valuation proved accurate and their commission charge was very competitive. Although our lengthy chain broke down Amir worked very hard to repair it and achieve an eventual exchange of contracts, particularly in the week before exchange happened. I would strongly recommend Brown and Merry to anyone looking for a reputable estate agent in Berkhamsted.

I have been dealing with Amir and the team for the last couple of years. It was a particularly difficult property to sell due to various reasons and restrictions however the team rose to the challenge and acted in my best interest to secure a sale. I was regularly updated with progress and Amir was always on hand to discuss strategy and marketing ideas. Thanks to everyone there for your efforts with good news being received today of exchange. We had a fantastic experience with Brown and Merry in Berkhamsted from start to finish. We bought our house through them three years ago and, more recently, sold the same property with their help. During our initial purchase, there was a lengthy and difficult legal process, but Amir at Brown and Merry kept us updated throughout and took the stress out of it.
When we decided to sell, we interviewed four different estate agents, and Brown and Merry came out on top in every regard. Their estimate, marketing and strategy was excellent. Lucy, in particular, was incredibly credible. Her passion, energy, and understanding of what we were looking for gave us complete confidence in her ability to sell our house the right way and the top price. She delivered!
Their marketing, outreach, and the open day were all very effective, resulting in us getting the asking price, which was nearly £100,000 more than other estimates from other estate agents. We really put them under pressure at times, and it wasn’t a straightforward sale, but they always had the answers and managed the process, the buyers and us brilliantly!

I chose Brown and Merry from the outset after meeting Amir and can say that him and his team delivered an excellent service from start to finish. Although a buyer was found quite quickly, a series of chain related delays eventually resulted in losing the first buyer but I felt confident to stick with Brown and Merry and have been delighted that I did. The whole team deliver exemplary service: responding quickly, helping to resolve issues and going above and beyond to keep things moving. Big thanks to Amir, Scarlette and Matthew.
