The marketing and eventual sale of my property in Alnwick was a very smooth operation. Pattinsons had a number of clients interested in my type of house and a buyer was found very quickly. They were able to arrange an EPC and organise remedial electrical work. This was most convenient as I had already moved over 300 miles away. What could have been problematic was handled with ease.

James’s knowledge of the local market and what people were looking for pitched our price at the right level and he produced the new sales brochure which was amazing and within two days of going live we had an offer on our asking price with potential viewers still in reserve. Assisted brilliantly by Kelly and the rest of the office team the sale was seamless and completed from start to finish in 9 weeks. Darren and Annie went above and beyond every estate agent I have dealt with. I made a last minute dash to view a property and they adjusted their own personal timetables to accommodate two viewings within a very short period. Both were knowledgeable about the property and gave me an honest appraisal of the area and as much as they were able to tell me about the proposed sale. The sale was by online auction which was a new experience for me. Darren was supportive throughout. He offered sound and experienced advice without applying any pressure at all for me to go beyond my limit. I felt in trustworthy and reliable hands throughout and would love to deal with them again.

Having asked Pattinson's to take on the sale of our house the whole process ran very smoothly.
Due to Covid we actually only met Darren who is the Alnwick Branch Manager. He was responsible for the valuation, excellent photos and video of our property. We feel that the video in particular really helped to sell our house.
Emily was excellent throughout and kept us regularly informed of progress with the sale. She acted as a conduit between us and our sellers which we were very grateful for. When she was not available Lee stepped in and was also excellent.
The whole process was handled very professionally and we have no hesitation in highly recommending Darren and his team.

I was looking at moving to a rental apartment in or near Alnwick and found a suitable place via the Pattison Estate Agent website. Within minutes of sending my first enquiry by email, my mobile rang and the very pleasant and enthusiastic Charlie Jefferson of Pattinson, Alnwick was asking 'how my morning was going'.
Since that first contact, Charlie has kept me informed and we arranged a viewing of the property I was interested in the following week. Charlie met me at the property and showed me around, again with enthusiasm as well as with practical knowledge of the property and surround area.
We are still in the process of finalising my rental of the property, and Pattinson (Charlie) has been great at keeping me updated.
I would not hesitate to recommend the personnel and service of Pattison Estate Agents of Alnwick.

The two stars are for Claire and Jess. But otherwise it was not a great experience. I felt the agents were more concerned about the buyers concerns than mine - maybe it has to be like that to keep them on board. But one agent standing in on a showing one day, did not do their research on the area nor did they even discuss what the lowest price I would go to was when trying to persuade me to take a lower than acceptable offer. And as for the solicitors that were part of the package RAW Clark & Co I think I spoke to my solicitor twice in around 8 months. Calls were never returned and I had to rely on Claire and Jess for updates. Infact the solicitor never even rang me to say the sale had been completed - I found that out from Claire. So use Pattinson but not the solicitors and make it clear what the expectations are on both sides to ensure a better experience.

Further to my previous review below, the house is just about to be sold. Took much longer than I thought, but only due to my own personal circumstances.
Throughout the whole process, Rosie from Pattinson Estate Agents has been extremely patient with the sale, very helpful, knowledgeable and provided assistance where required. As I'm 300+ miles away she has kept in constant communication throughout the full time it's taken (I wouldn't have been as patient with me as she has). As I've never sold a house before, Rosie has also guided me through the whole process to make what seemed like a daunting task, fairly easy. Excellent service.
I would definitely recommend this company, very professional, dedicated and they go the extra mile to meet clients needs.

I’m selling a property in Alnwick and I had a few Estate Agents round to view my property. Rosie from Pattinson, Alnwick branch, came to value the property and I found her to be highly professional, knowledgeable, very proactive and also the rate was very competitive. Even though other estate agents came to view the property, I thought Rosie came across as the best person to use, therefore the house is now with Pattison’s for sale. (Note - This review is based on placing the property on the market and the service received so far, once sold, a further review will be added – hopefully it will also be a good review).

Customer service has been excellent for purchasing a property in Northumberland all the way from Kent. The lack of available floor plans online or in hard copy caused us some inconvenience however. The agent's monitoring and follow up of events was very responsive and we received a weekly call until exchange of contracts.

The service I was given from Pattinsons in Alnwick was great. Maruf was very helpful and flexible about being able to get into the property. He was very professional in his service and made the buying process very easy for me. I live in Scotland and therefore the English system was very different and he helped enormously in negotiating my way through the system.
