We have been impressed with the friendly personal and professional service received. We have had constant communication and updates. Viewings have been arranged and conducted efficiently.
When we have had queries they have always been there. The difference we have noticed is that they all seem to work well as a team and seem very personable. An offer has been received and accepted, let’s see now if they can see it through to completion. If they do it will be five stars!!

I have recently had an offer accepted on a property with the help of Ben Cope, although relatively new to the role, he was incredibly professional, helpful and enthusiastic throughout the process.
He showed me around the property on several occasions, always accommodating and patient, allowing the time and space needed to view and consider everything, His approach was friendly and respectful, making each visit a relaxed and positive experience.
Despite only being with the company for a around 3 months, his knowledge of the property and process was impressive. I asked a couple of questions to do with the property that he didn't have an immediate answer to, he was honest about it and made sure to follow up promptly with the information.

We recently bought a property and worked with Cian and Lucy from the agency. They were professional, respectful, responsive, and helpful throughout, and we appreciated their support during the process.
However, I’ve given 2 stars because they recommended Ashley James Solicitors, suggesting the process would be quicker if we used them. Trusting that advice, we chose them over other solicitors, even though we had better quotes — but unfortunately, the experience didn’t meet expectations.
The solicitor was often slow to respond, with some emails taking up to a week for a reply, even after follow-ups. Some of the answers we received also weren’t very clear.
Recommending a solicitor comes with responsibility.

Bad experience.Recently we were looking to buy a property and found one that caught our eye on this particular Agency .The property viewing was presented by Cian who was very professional ,,polite and delivered his job in a good manner.However ,I would.have to say that at least ,it would be appreciated by the costumers to ventilate the property of the viewing and have in hand the total of square metres .Even in the leaflet it was not shown and I had to work out adding them manually room by room .
On the other hand , my husband phoned after that and made an offer for the flat after few days.However ,he didn't get any call back after ,for another few days .We decided to call, and at that time he was told that they had multiple offers ,one of them was higher than his current one and if he really were interested in getting the apartment he would have to pay an extra fee of 5000 pounds to the agent ( which we didn't meet) plus the offer ,which at that time was the maximum price the flat was listed for.( all this by phone).There is not any way to check( on the website )or any other physical evidence if there are really others offers highers (like others agencies ) which by far are a bit more transparent in this matter .So the only option that costumer has is ,to " rely " and " trust "in the words of the agents who in this case are obviously highly moved more by the extra money they can make ,rather than the actual commission they would get by selling a property .
Quite disappointed ,twisted and dark all this process and we just decided to walk away rather to deal with all this again .
Summarising for customers :
1.Don't expect high standards for a property viewing (it is going to sell anyway ) so why to put to much effort !
2.Don't expect feedback ( they are not going to call you to keep you updated of the process) YOU need to call them .
3.There is no way to check if what they are telling you is true( regarding offers),etc.
4.Expect to pay a high EXTRA fee of cash to secure your property to the agent.

Poor and unprofessional customer service at this branch of Paul Carr.
I called today as I was interested in a let property. Usually PC representatives are quote forthcoming with information via phone. I know this as I purchased a property through another branch in May 2023. However, the customer service by a representative — Anita was appalling. Twice in a call that lasted only 2 minutes, she told me to go online to view the details of the property online — i.e. I was being fobbed off. Very disappointing and I will not be using PC Mere Green again.

Evita wasn’t professional, she asked us many personal questions what wasn’t even to do with the property we wanted to rent. Was very sarcastic and completely lied to us about booking viewings. She stated at the start of the conversation that there viewings for the property were empty, within half an hour and a discussion of pets was brought into the equation she immediately vocalised in a condescending way “if people want to view to the property who don’t have pets, THEY will get the property and not you”. She later also turned around and all of a sudden from the 30 minute conversation gap from the last time i called, all the bookings were full.
Will be making a complaint to head office tomorrow morning! Don’t use Paul Carr! Only interested in SALES not LETTINGS

The whole team have been amazing throughout, nothing was too much trouble. Angela conducted the viewings and negotiations, she was great. Very friendly but professional and dealt with the negotiations promptly so we could get the deal done.
When the sale was agreed ,our file was passed to Bev to chase and help us get to completion. Any hick ups along the way were dealt with efficiently. It really seemed like Bev cared and we weren’t just a number to her. She was pushing things along as quickly as possible and provided regular updates along the way. When Bev was not available, Faye and the rest of the team picked things up and were equally as good.
I cannot recommend the team enough!
We don’t plan to move from here but if we ever do, Paul Carr are the only agent we will use!

We bought our new home through Paul Carr Four Oaks earlier this summer and cannot praise their service highly enough. The sales team were professional and clearly understood the local market very well. The chain chasing element of the transaction was carried out very well by Pam. I was delighted to learn that Faye is now leading this branch and also that Kimberley has joined the team as these two wonderful women were instrumental in selling our property at their previous place of employment. I have no doubt that Paul Carr Four Oaks will go from strength to strength.

All of the staff were friendly and professional but one in particular, Katy Syborn, was instrumental in my mother's house being successfully sold after 18 months during the pandemic of 3 sales falling through and periods of inactivity in the market. On the day it was sold, with 3 would be buyers, she kept me up to date every half hour and we finally settled on the best price we had ever been offered. She was tireless! Well done Katy.

Firstly I wanted to say a massive thank you to both Faye and Kimberley. They have gone above and beyond to help me find a property. They are a credit to the team and it really shows within them both that this is more than just a pay day. I have really struggled finding a property. The last 4 months have been filled with let downs and disappointment. I have found other estate agents to be rude, unhelpful and more interested in a back handed payment than making sure the properties go to the most suitable or even the highest bidder. I would highly recommend the team in four oaks office for both sale and purchasing.

A big thank you to Angela, Faye and Kimberley who have been nothing but patient and informative when helping us as first time buyers agree the purchase of our first home. Angela was incredibly helpful throughout our viewings and at no point did we feel pressured or on a time scale to look round quickly, despite her busy schedule. She went out of her way to phone the office mid viewing to organise a second viewing for my partner, and was very flexible when it came to organising this. We are still very early in the process but they have been updating us every step of the way so far and have answered all of our questions, no matter how trivial or crazy they might be! Really annoyed with the lack of help and service, wanted to buy a house and after agreeing price and letters sent out to all of us they then sold the house over my head to someone else. If a house is sold its sold and surley they should not still be showing people round, taking offers and gazumping me, thats my solicitor fees gone.

Disappointing service had a viewing arranged a week in advance. Received a call 5 minutes before the viewing only to be told that the owner had provided them with the wrong set of keys and that the office was now closed. Breach of GDPR was provided with another persons details on my first call to Paul carr when speaking with Muhammed. Will not use again will take my business elsewhere.

Why you kept on recommending your mortgage advisor otherwise don’t sell me your property ? I try to buy a house from you and we already had our own mortgage Advicer in place, who don’t charge us as other mortgage advisers , no charge to customers at all. But Your mortgage adviser from your branch charged us so very high fee. then caused us a completely Disaster due to his mistake !! He made huge problem for my mortgage because he has not enough knowledge to do his work! End of day we were not able to purchase a house for over a year ..... we were only wanted to buy a house from your agent, we didn’t need a mortgage adviser . But you forced us using your mortgage adviser who has completely messed our life .

The Manager (Dan) was most helpful - he has however changed branch now, whilst his team in Four Oaks were helpful there were several serious blunders, there was inaccurate qualification of prospective purchasers and complete wrong information regarding the state of the sale process - very frustrating resulting in the house being taken off the market - a change in Estate Agents when my house goes back on the market.I would be happy to discuss my review with the directors of Paul Carr estate agents.

I've passed refercing to rent a house and was promised to move in at the end of November. Then I've been told to wait another two weeks as there was something to do inside the house so I've kept waiting and calling them to ask about progress and what's the situation. Then again I've been told everythings alright and I could move in in a middle of December. After all that, 2days before their 'deadline' and I've got a cold and been told that works inside a house are not finished yet and they don't know when it's going to be finished. So just week before Christmas, it turned out I have nowhere to go... I was pretty stressed. I won't recommend to anyone.

Jenny is dreadful at customer service , bad attitude. I made a complaint but not sure if it was taken seriously . Used this agency as a landlord for 2 years, it was ok until I went to pick up my keys as I had found a tenant elsewhere .

We would like to record our thanks and appreciation for Paul Carr staff who visited us. As absolute novices to this arena they listened to our concerns and dilemma and talked through the options, the highs and the lows with empathy and understanding.
With a professional approach yet with a personal attitude, it was clear to see the passion for the job they do, their customers and not at all least, their employer (and yes I know they pay the salary) but this isn’t just about what you do, it’s all about how you go about it!
It would have been so easy for them to come across as aloof and imperious in this situation but it is a testament to their skill and application that instead, they came over as anything but.
If our situation changes, rest assured Paul Carr will be the first ones we go to. Thank you once again for your time and attention.
