Lovely people, have sold my home, could do with a bit more communication, but always happy to answer any of questions (I rang them a lot haha) charged us 1% if selling price plus vat for their fees which is very acceptable.
I wanted the details for a property I had seen on rightmove on February 2nd 2015. It is now February 24th and they are still not available. When I ring I'm told they are busy but details will appear when the backlog has been dealt with.
I rang a different office about another property they had put on rightmove a week earlier and was told it would be another week before they went to measure up and a few days after that before they would be available.
On the good side they will arrange a viewing so you can measure up yourself.
We recently sold our property for £120,000 more than Paul Carr's representative suggested as a guide price. That's a lot of money to lose out on! It is better to buy from them than sell via them ... which I did originally! Fast selling is good, but a higher price is better. Be wary of their advice re what your property is worth.
Absolutely awful. They pit the vendors against the sellers, chase commission and only seem to be working for themselves. No loyalty to their customers and use very sly tactics to get the best outcome only for themselves. They have lost our business and all of our friends and families too.
We found our rented house via them 8 years ago and here we go again. Let's hope we can get a good deal again
I had very bad experience with Paul car I paid rent of 4 Month while property is vacant Due to fixed term contract. Make sure getting property from them and read contract there is no early contract breaking clauses.
I wasted my bills and rent money.
I recently sold a flat through Acres in Four Oaks. The service i recieved was exceptional from the initual meeting and valuation with Nigel Deeke, through to the viewings, negotiations and management of the sale. I was always kept fully informed with regular updates about the viewings and then later the progress of the sale. I expected the sale of the flat to be very stressful but was extremely pleased to find that this was not the case plus they managed to negotiate an £8k more tgan expected.All in all a very professional company who provided a second to none service. Thank you
Like others, I found the staff rude & extremely reluctant to help or even take the calls. Days passes before getting back to me. The state of the house at starting the contract was pretty bad. No attempts to reconcile any differences with the landlord. Luckily, I took photos at start & end of contract & raised a dispute with deposit scheme & got ALL my money back. In nutshell: EXPECT TROUBLE.
Sadly, I cannot give them any less rating.
