24th Jan 2025 (13 weeks ago)We had an excellent experience as buyers buying a property marketed by Paul Carr's Boldmere Office. This was all because of Tori (Victoria) Smith. She was just so ON IT! It felt like she knew what the solicitors were doing before they did. She built a great rapport with us and the sellers and responded instantly to emails. It's lovely to have someone so clearly passionate about their job. For us this a very easy and stress-free process. Highly recommended.- 22nd Apr 2025 (3 days ago)Tom, is a 5 star person. From the start, Sian was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and responsive. She walked me through every step, answered all my questions quickly, and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. Thanks to her hard work, I was able to secure a great rate and close on time without any surprises. Thank you
26th Jan 2025 (13 weeks ago)Some communication issues - asked for call backs on two occasions and did not receive any. Not sure 'mate' is the sort of language one should use when in conversation with a client ? Not sure who was responsible for the on-line marketing ? I think it may have been iamsold? Was promised a Boxing day re-market as this, historically, is a strong day for on-line views - this was not actioned and we had to call to query - this was later sorted on or around the 28th December - some days after the 'strong day' the 26th December 2024 - not sure if there is a disconnect between Bairstows and Iamsold, so this may be disingenuous to Bairstows ? We would still recommend Bairstows Walsall.

This was a very sensitive sale to deal with due to the property belonging to my recently deceased mother, the whole team were nothing but compassionate, courteous and helpful in answering any questions I had along the way and the whole process was very quick. 16th Jan 2025 (14 weeks ago)Shocking how impolite they have become since taking money off us, expected a well established estate agents to display a better understand of courtesy, customer service and tenant rights, a disappointment, problems expected. Yes; first & second example, assuming prior consent to access outside of tenants availability; with no reason, yet expecting tenant to rearrange to suit your schedule and then brazenly stating they were back to the office for the rest of the day with nothing much to do, when one of the occupants has made arrangements for you to attend im temperatures lower than -5 on a saturday morning, many dates and times were given as alternative requests, and were refused without reason, no apology, thanks or courtesy shown from your agency. Third example; advising an undisclosed contractor will be on the roof doing an undisclosed job at an undisclosed time during a Friday, with no further details and no respect for the tenant and their family or their schedule or the distress that causes. We only asked for a time frame so that one of us isn't waiting out in the cold with the puppy all day, because your attendance will disrupt our right to quiet enjoyment, which will be the second consecutive week that one of us has had to leave to facilitate your arrangements, despite all the times you insisted the proerty was "ready." The responses are dismissive and rude, there is no respect or courtesy in the way you correspond with us regarding attendance for you or your contractors, you do Not ask to arrange, instead with us you set and then expect us to fall over for you. (Quite literally, it was minus 6 degrees and the floor was covered in ice, and yet we didnt mention it we just facilitated.) How would you respond if you got an email telling you a man will be on your roof with literally No other information? Who are you? Who is the contractor? Just because you're an estate agent and they're a contractor doesn't mean you can be trusted or have free reign to do what you like... how will they even "attend" if we don't give them access by moving the cars ? Will they climb over the garden?? You expect people to be okay with this? As you can tell, I could go on.
18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
