So much corruption in this estate agent!
We dealt with Michelle Roberts! Who was rude and not helpful at all.
We showed interest in a house and placed a bid. We then received an email stating all parties who were interested in the house would need to submit their final and highest bids. I did ask whether we could find out what the highest bid from someone else was so we wouldn’t have to unnecessarily big thousands more. Michelle advised this wasn’t possible.
We placed our final bid, and surprise surprise, the other parties bid was higher! But this is here the corruption is, the other parties bid was only £500 more than ours. As the house was well over £350,000 it's very convenient that the other bid was so close to ours.
Thus estate agents works off back handers. which stopped us getting the house we wanted.
So if you're in a bidding war with this estate agent, you'll have to pay them to get your bid to win!

I wasted a lot of time in viewing and putting an offer, which was higher than any other offers I was advised by them, for a property located at Stanley street, Walsall.
During my offer I told Kelly from Paul Carr’s auctions team, I have also got cash in hand in case any other financial arrangement method fails.
I had also arranged bridging finance.
On Saturday, I was given all positive feedback and then on Monday, I found out property has been sold to someone with cash offer.
When I asked questions then I was told no it doesn’t matter any more as it has been sold and we have only sold it because it was cash offer.
But did I not say I have also got the cash? Yes I did.
I had already got quote from my builder.
Such a waste of time. Please be mindful when working with people to not waste their time.

I have had several dealings with Paul Carr and each time I find a property I am interested in they are more interested in my finances than arranging a viewingSo l don’t trust this Company They are NOT Professional People. They don’t even respond to my requests ps. (Norton Canes ) after phone call to Paul carr they said sorry it’s under offer. Of course it will be because you never come back to me for a week. ????

I used Paul Carr Aldridge to sell my home in Aldridge.
Firstly I dealt with Natalie on the phone who was very friendly and helpful. Natalie came out to house to do valuation. I feel the price was neither low or way above realistic valuation.
Matt came out next to take photographs ( the photographs were of a high standard and showed the house to it's full potential ) Matt also took particulars for house sale to create a sales brochure.
Within 24 hours after being given the opportunity to check everything ( photographs, house details and brochure) my home went on the market.
I decided to do the viewings myself however you can have an agent do these for you as well if you choose.
The process of booking viewings was very straight forward. Paul Carr deal with the phone calls and ask for days/ times slots that work for the vendor ( myself ) They then email interested buyers basic details and day / time of viewing.
I searched Google for homes for sale in my area and my home appeared within top searches. Within the first day I had multiple viewings booked in.
I made a choice to not have a sales board outside house but this is an option.
I sold my home from internet listing within two days for above asking price.
Once the sale was agreed the process was very straight forward and stress free from Paul Carr's end. They helped me to arrange an EPC assessment which is needed for sale completion. This was conducted thoroughly and quickly within the process.
My solicitors were delayed and Paul Carr assisted with that ensuring they acted timely.
I was not moving to another home on day of completion by was purchasing land on the same day. Completion day was very straight forward. I was communicated to and new owners were provided keys on time with ease.
Cost to sell through Paul Carr was very reasonable.
We are going to be using Paul Carr again very soon for the sale of another home.
Overall if you are looking for a friendly, helpful and efficient service, Paul Carr does tick all those boxes.

Used Paul Carr to advertise the sale of my house. Michelle was outstanding from the point of valuation and guiding me through the ‘offer ’process. Matt did a great job with the photography.
The communication was poor following the sale of my house and I was disappointed that I needed to make contact with the after sale colleague. One noticeable point was, I was not informed by Paul Carr the contracts had exchanged and the day after the move I received I a call to ask if the the contracts had been exchanged.
I chose to contact the estate agent of the house I was buying for guidance.

Paul Carr sent me an invitation to have my house valued so I rang and they made an appointment. On the day, no one showed up, I rang the shop only to be told that they had no record of the appointment that THEY had made. Obviously I’ll now use a different agency

Had an awful experience with the Aldridge branch of Paul Carr particularly from Michelle who clearly didn’t want us to buy a house that they were selling as she made it her mission to make everything difficult even though we were in a great position to buy and just had to find THE house. I even requested that others contact us instead of Michelle in the end but this was ignored. Would not recommend this estate agents.
In regards to your comments Chris, I don’t need to contact you. The review is an honest opinion of the service we received and based on that we will avoid any houses being sold by Paul Carr in the future.

We have had nothing but a fantastic experience with Paul Carr in Aldridge/ Bloxwich. We used them to sell our house and we also brought our second home with them, the team were very attentive and were always happy to answer any questions or queries. Pete Cowley was our mortgage advisor and he was amazing he sorted our mortgage with no issues at all, he was always available through calls, emails and even messages nothing was too much trouble. Natalie Carswell was our estate agent and again nothing was too much trouble for Natalie, she was superb with communication, very attentive to our needs and reassured us keeping us up to date throughout. I can’t recommend this team enough for all your sale / purchase requirements this is the A team!!

Was told I would get a callback to arrange a viewing on a property I was very interested in, went back to check after over a week of silence to find the appartment as "Let agreed" despite being told no viewings were taking place because the current tenant was being difficult. A family member told me not to use Paul Carr after they mis-sold them an awful botched property that's cost a fortune to put right and I should've listened. Absolute time wasters.

They dont have sellers best interests at heart also they seem to favour buyers who use their mortgage broker even if the offer is lower than other offers. Bad communication bad attitude (Michelle) and pretty sure they choose who they want to purchase a property for their best interests and not the sellers.
Very bad for buyers and and sellers. The property market seriously needs regulating yo put the likes of Paul Carr in their place. Shame you cant do minus 5 stars to be honest.
