From the second Steve walked into the door of the property to value it, I knew we were in the best hands by choosing PE, he had so much compassion and time to hear our stories of such a loved home, full of memories and then he used these within the advert, which meant so much!

Myself and my wife have recently purchased a property through Picker Elliott and I can honestly say that if it wasn’t for Steve and his team the purchase would have fell through. A relatively simple purchase turned quite messy when the solicitors got involved (lots of miscommunication from the solicitors) but Steve and his team went over and above to pull everything together and make sure the purchase was completed. They were always very professional and communicated everything to me in a clear concise manner. Absolutely awful. I had found the perfect property to rent but I was time limited in viewing due to work commitments. I only had one shot at this and Their office agreed that Steve would turn up at the viewing with documents to sign and he would take reference fees in cash. When I viewed the property and asked to sign the forms he told me that he didn’t have them with him and he couldn’t take the fee because he couldn’t give me a receipt.
I said how much I wanted the property and I didn’t want to be pipped to the post but I had to leave for london.
Steve said that they would email me the forms and I could pay the fees by BACS.
After repeated phone calls to their office all afternoon with no forms sent I was finally told at 4.30pm that someone else had submitted their forms at 3pm and they would be put forward as the new tenet.
If Steve had done what he said he would do my application would have been in first.
I lost out on a great house for me and my daughter because they clearly had no intention of letting it to me. It felt like a complete stitch up.

Further to Picker Elliott selling my property just over a year ago, as I said in my review of Picker Elliott back then, if I ever need to buy or sell again in their patch I'll be back. So earlier this year when I had another property to sell I went back and... my experience was the same.
Absolutely marvellous.
Every step of the way Steve, Zoe and the team worked tirelessly and professionally. End result: SOLD, at a price that both I and the buyer was very happy with, in a timescale that suited everyone.
If you want to buy or sell, my message in simple, don't go anywhere else - there's no point, head straight for the best: Picker Elliott.

Picker Elliott are an independent local agent who were great to work with on the recent sale of the property. I found the whole team to be extremely friendly and professional, where they manage to find the difficult balance between me as a seller and the buyer's expectations. The local knowledge of the market and the solicitors also helped in expediting and completing the sale within our time-frame. The team always demonstrated a "can do" attitude and nothing appeared to be too much trouble. I have now bought once and sold once through Picker Elliott and the experience on both occasions has both been very positive. I for one have no issues in recommending Picker Elliott.

It is easy to overlook Picker Elliot in the gaggle of estate agents along Castle Street. However, we were very happy we chose them. Steve Picker and his office staff are friendly and efficient. They offer a very good value service (in comparison with what other estate agents charge) and do as much, if not more, than competitors in dealing with the paperwork, arranging viewings, providing feedback – and they are well plugged into the local network of solicitors (should you need them). At a distance, my elderly mother sold a house in the Hinckley area within only a few weeks, so she was well pleased.

Just one experience with this lot is enough to say no more. They are very unprofessional and a bunch of liars and fixers.
I viewed a property with this lot and wanted to put an application for it but they insisted that I waited till Monday as the property was viewed on a Saturday. I even offered to pay a deposit to secure the property but Zoe, who I spoke to completely refused and said that I had to wait till Monday. 2 hours later she rang me to tell me that someone else had just come in to put an application for the same property.
The only thing they care about is that someone rents the property and do not care about professionalism or treating people fairly.
What they do not know is that we are looking to buy soon and have now struck them off our list of agents to deal with in the Hinckley area.
I will not recommend them at all and would suggest that you think twice if you were thinking of using them to sell or rent your property.
