Do not be landlord and live abroad, they will take your money, and fix nothing. Very corrupt, greedy, and crooks! I wish i could leave a zero star!! We dealt with the father boss snd son. I regret this decision, my home will cost me a fortune to fix. Stay clear of them!

Thanks once again to Peter and his knowledgeable team for dealing with the sale of another one of my properties that they have been managing for me for the past 10 years .
Things could have got quite stressful and the buyers could have pulled out of the sale as the stamp duty holiday fast approached but Peter and his team had the know how and the expertise to get the sale over the line by chasing the solicitors and keeping on top of matters .
I was also kept in the loop at all times .

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE! Especially if offered any flat in 87 (don’t want to put road name as it might get removed). We had lived there for 19 months and had nothing but problems.
First off as mentioned in other reviews the mould and leaking was horrendous and no one ever did anything to correct this despite our numerous attempts to bring it to their attention. I have asthma and had mentioned this to them numerous times. We have had damage to £100’s in clothes that were properly stored (again caused by damp) and Platinum have done nothing to compensate us.
I know they’ve just painted over this now to try love someone else in.
Upon moving in we noticed ant killer under the sink, didn’t think anything of it but later came to realise there was an infestation that we weren’t told about.
Any time we had an issue and would complain, both Platinum estates and the landlord would make it very difficult for us: blaming it on us or down right refusing to do anything. The landlord is really a cowboy and Platinum just help facilitate him. Between Dec/Jan 2021 we went over 3 weeks without use of the boiler (we deducted £100 rent for this and were told that we were being unfair).
On top of all the issues we’ve had, the landlord has now tried to keep £1000 of our deposit to repair the flat: funny because he didn’t seem interested in any repairs before. Plus this is an unreasonable amount which is now being held onto (leaving us worse off)
Nightmare tenancy, moved out around a month ago and the treatment we’re getting now is 100000x better.
Wish I was good with the law as I know that this needs looking into ASAP before more people are affected.

I rented from Platinum Estates for almost a year.
As I entered the flat for the first time, it was full of mould and dust but I thought it just needed to be cleaned .
After a month, me and my girlfriend noticed a few bites on our body but thought that it may have been mosquito bites. A week later the bites became a lot more and we decided to go to the doctor who said that those were bedbugs' bites. We contacted Platinum Estates for a pest control but they didn't believe us and claimed that the problem were our clothes. We insisted and then they sent a guy who finished doing the pest in 30 minutes and it was pretty suspicious. After a month we still had bites and contacted them again: no answers. Then we insisted since we had a lot of problems that they didn't solve: loud neighbour, mould, cold water and our bed was broken .
We had to call the council, the police and then only when we said we were moving they decided to send a guy to clean the mould during the pandemic so we didn't feel safe at all with having strangers coming and going.
We never had any contact with the landlord but he only showed up threatening us by saying that if we would not give access to the builders, he would have taken 150£ from our deposit. After one year of hell, hospital because of the flat's conditions, we finally left and contacted a lot of people to have our full deposit back. PLEASE DON'T TRUST GOOD REVIEWS, THEY ARE PROBABLY GETTING PAYED TO SAY GOOD THINGS . STAY AWAY FROM THIS AGENCY IF YOU DON'T WANT HEALTH PROBLEMS.

I would definitely NOT recommend Platinum estates. I had the nightmare of working with Avinur Ahmed, who not only had no clue what he was doing in the whole process, he would continuously tell me he will get back to me and never did until i chased him up again. The seller pulled out of the sale because of his lack of communication and Avinur did not communicate to me (the buyer) for weeks until i spoke to the seller myself to find out this information. Worst service i have ever come across!!! A total lack of professionalism and knowledge.

I have had and still am involved in a horrendous situation with Peter at platinum estates. Spent a year renting from them, while they totally ignored any requests for repair, all the while, covering up for what was in my opinion an extremely unpleasant landlord. Deposit held back for nine months now for fabricated issues.
If you’re a tenant, please don’t use these guys, it’s been a nasty experience from the very beginning.
As soon as I eventually receive my deposit back I will be reporting them to every governing body.

I rented my flat out 4 years ago using Platinum and was really impressed with the company.
This was the first time I had rented my flat out and Peter came around to tell me what the flat could fetch for rent and explained the procedure.
It needed to be hassle free as I was travelling overseas for a year,and it was!
Got regular updates and all small issues were fixed up to the agreed amount.
They are a local business, so put the extra effort in with their customers.

So much better than the main high street companies I've dealt with before. Very professional and always go above and beyond to help with everything.
