From the initial meeting to discuss selling our property in Monmouth we knew that Powells were the right estate agents. They handled all the viewing, gave us feedback after every one, and handled the whole selling experience professionally and efficiently. Being a smaller company, there was very much a feeling of caring and being on the ball with whoever we spoke with, namely - Dan, Chris and Abi and Lucy when she came back from maternity leave. Very pleasant to deal with, and we would highly recommend them to anyone wishing to sell their property. First class Powells - well done.

We had three estate agent valuations and overall we were most impressed with Powell’s. Every dealing we had was professional, speedy and honest. They handled all the viewings, and their feedback from prospective purchasers was extremely quick and we were made fully aware of the appraisal of the feedback they received. The fact that within three days of being on the market, a fixed agreed price was reached by the Friday of that week! We have nothing but praise for this great estate agents, and would not hesitate to recommend them. In short, they were first class.

With a complicated purchase and an unhelpful seller’s solicitor we were grateful for Powell’s assistance in our recent home purchase. It was fortunate that Powell’s was a multidisciplinary practice and was able to assist in planning matters and they utilised their existing network to progress the transaction. I doubt the sale would have gone through without this. Thanks to Dan for being in regular communication and keeping things moving.

Powells provided an excellent service for us in 2022 selling our property in Llanvetherine near Abergavenny. Our main representative was Abbie Young who was very professional throughout the marketing and sales process and, indeed, provided fantastic support for us during a difficult time. Abbie definitely offered a service way beyond anything we have experienced with other agents. Our house was a period property and Powells certainly appreciated its history and uniqueness. They also produced an excellent brochure and marketing online tour. In addition they liaised with the agent handling our onward purchase and did sterling work facilitating the multiple sales and purchases in the chain that we were involved with. Powells also worked seamlessly with our solicitor. I would highly recommend them.

An exceptional service, professional from start to finish. Lucy went out of her way to ensure that the process progressed as smoothly as possible. I can honestly say that without her efforts to keep the chain moving the time involved would have increased significantly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Powells to anyone involved in moving home. It is a very stressful time and having a communicative and positive estate agent involved helped us more than I can say.
