From a landmark buildings perspective of East Grinstead this is one of the outstanding gems of architectural heritage. A simply beautiful building. I've often looked at the wonderful construction. And wondered its history. I used to do dowsing as a hobby years ago and marvelled at the apparent fact of all the underground catacombs and tunnels - of which there are many - seem for some reason to make for under this impressive old building.

Throughout the whole process, from viewing our new home to completion of all the paperwork the staff at Cluttons have been excellent. As first time renters no question was too silly for them and everything was dealt with in an exemplary manner. Three staff in particular are worthy of a mention, Sam Benson, Lisa Chambers and Will Jones who coached us perfectly through the whole process - thank you guys

Very pleasant experience with this estate agent .
Initially we were looked after by Lisa who was very friendly and helpful , then the majority of the letting handled by Sam .
Sam was very professional and nothing was too much trouble for her , she really looked a After us do well , with emails , phone calls and follow ups .

As a first time buyer I've spoken to quite a few agents and been told all sorts of different things. With this company, I felt was looked down upon for what sort of property I was looking at (something very run down and in dire need of repair/renovation), and upon discussing offers I was told that I should "go and ask your parents for more money".
Never in my life have I had something so insulting said to me by a "professional" representing an industry where they are already made fun of, and now I know why! Wherever James learned to speak to customers is beyond me. This happened on 28th October at around 10:30am if RH&RW Clutton can be so much as bothered to investigate.
I'm sure, that if my parents were around to be involved in the biggest decision of my life, that I would have no issue asking them for help, but as they're not, I guess I'll have to go without and shockingly, use my own money.
Sound advice right there, sound advice indeed.
