I had engaged Rolitex to manage my property since I bought it in 2006. Initially, their service was pretty standard for a high street estate agent, handling repairs and rent collection adequately. However, everything changed when I decided to move into the property and needed to evict the tenants. Rolitex issued the Section 21 notice as required, which was fine. But as the notice period neared its end, we wanted to discuss the tenants' plans. Every time we asked Rolitex, specifically Roland, he would shout down the phone, telling us to wait for the two months to end. When the notice period expired and the tenants didn't move, Roland offered no assistance on the next steps. He was silent until we had to demand a meeting, where we were told we needed a solicitor. I understand he is busy, but how difficult is it to communicate simple information to a longstanding client? After hiring a solicitor, Rolitex was professional in providing the necessary documents, no matter how many times we asked. However, during this time, rent payments became erratic. Whether it was the tenants paying late or Rolitex’s mishandling, it would have been nice for them to inform us, especially with mortgage payments piling up. Whenever I asked Roland about this, he would shout as if he was doing me a favor. He even increased his fee without notifying us and insisted he had informed us when he clearly hadn't. I eventually had enough of Roland's lack of communication and aggressive behavior, so I decided to collect the rent myself. To Roland's credit, he facilitated this transition quickly, and interestingly enough, the tenant paid me on time from then on. When the tenant finally vacated, the property was in a terrible state. This was no surprise since Rolitex had not conducted an inspection since the late 2010s. My experience with Rolitex started amicably but ended very poorly. While other staff members were professional and helpful, Roland was consistently aggressive and difficult to communicate with. This review should not surprise anyone considering the other negative feedback but should serve as a caution for anyone considering dealing with Roland at Rolitex.... Read more

Highly would recommend Cameron and the team at Rolitex. My previous agent was struggling to sell my flat in Greenford and Rolitex provided with me a smooth, professional and courteous service from the moment I stepped into their office. As well as obtaining a purchase offer, they also offered me other options including a fantastic guaranteed rent scheme with a long term contract, which is what I signed in the end. In addition, they helped procure contracting services to fix up my flat at a decent rate and managed this on my behalf. This is possible the worst agency. Do not rent with them. The black man inside the real estate was absolutely appalling. Asked if the window display property was available. He said those are display. I said that’s weird to display property that’s not available. Rudely he responded with go somewhere else if you don’t like how we operate our business. He than said they have no properties at all available. I am not surprised with an bad attitude like that.... Read more

Did not have a positive experience with this agency. Emails take a long time to be responded to (and often go missing), several team members do not speak English very well and only part of my refund was initially returned. Following the below comment: I was informed the landlord's decision was purely financial and the agent in fact agreed to speak to the landlord again re a higher bid. The agent even stated they were disappointed because they wanted to be in charge of the property. I did not want any personal numbers, I was just asking for a work mobile so I could cut out the inefficient middleman (the office landline - where no one ever knew what was going on) and speed things along. I would not recommend going with a company that is both inefficient and misportrays the truth - the multiple negative Google reviews speak for themselves after all.... Read more

I was really excited excited to start my career as an assistant property manager at rolitex. On my first day (4 hours into the job) I quit. The director (Roland) could not even provide basic requirements for his staff. There’s no sink in the toilet which means you have to wash your hands in the kitchen sink. There’s no bin in the bathroom for women to use and the bathroom door doesn’t lock. I had to walk to McDonald’s and use the bathroom there and found this extremely offensive that he had not catered to women’s needs. When I tried to address the issue with him he said “I’ve never had to cater for women’s needs as we are all men working here” which is ironic because there is a young lady who works at the front desk and there was also a complaint by a former employee (a woman) about not having a bin in the toilet for women to use and he still didn’t fix the issue. He also advised me that “I use my initiative and take charge and call a contractor to renovate his bathroom” when it’s not even my job to do so! He needs to look after his staff and take the responsibility upon himself and he’s also very rude. He makes rude comments like “I thought you knew how to use outlook proficiently” when I’m 3 hours into the job and he can’t even print an A4 letter when he’s been working in the company for approximately 20 years. He is extremely unprofessional as he has now gone to my mother at her place of work to speak to her about my behaviour saying “is this how you raised your daughter”. How unprofessional and embarrassing is this for himself! Someone needs to sue him!... Read more

Very unprofessional work place. The director’s behaviour was appalling to a point where people would walk out during working hours.I was there to learn about the job and help as i am only a student and left after less than two months due to his behaviour. He would offend women in the office and this was personally for example about the clothes they wore or what they ate. He would shout at myself and customers over knocking on a door and politely asking him for help which was actually his job and own fault to deal with and then he would summon me into the office to apologise or negatively talk about one employee to the other. On more than three occasions this employer would shout and offend me for no reason in front of everybody and then ask me to come into the office privately and would apologise. Complete hypocrite and his advise contradicts his actions. Complete disrespect. There is also no sanitary bin in the bathroom for the girls which just goes to show. This list goes on and unfortunately i do not recommend anybody to work here.... Read more

The staff turn over is ridiculous. Plus when someone new is employed they turn on you and scrutinise your personality and spy on cctv. This was such a nice atmosphere to start with. Marian O'Brien 5 star top rating for Rolitex! People who would like to sell property or rent can expect a consistently excellent, highly professional customer service from Rolitex. My experience as a person seeking an update of the value of my house in Greenford was as follows: When you want expertise, experience and in my case to know more about what the market is doing in a Brexit situation and the requirements controlling how a person wanting to sell property needs to know. I am not a beginner but neither am I an expert in these things. I found Rolland who is one of the key people working as part of Rolitex as an estate agent professional, personable and reliable. Rolland showed sound expertise giving me a picture of the current market price and what aspects of the property which were relevant to the sale. He balanced out that which was responsive to the current market offsetting that which was realistic. A balanced professional opinion was definitely required and Rolland as part of Rolitex delivered all that any estate agent of high repute could want in perspective and provision to those that avail themselves of Rolitex estate agent customer services. I must say I categorically recommend Rolitex for anybody who wants both the local and national picture. Also as any move - sale and/or renting carries with it a potentially stressful event/s. Rolitex takes away the stress providing the highest expertise and reliability that can only make life easier when you need to progress your career or business as usual.
