I recently sold my property through Rolstons and had the pleasure of working with Danielle Gennard as my Sales Progression Manager. I cannot recommend her highly enough! Danielle was incredibly professional, helpful, and proactive throughout the entire process. She kept me updated at every step, ensuring I was always in the loop with the status of the sale.
What really stood out was her dedication to chasing up all parties involved — the buyer’s solicitor, the seller’s solicitor, the buyer, and the seller — to make sure everything was moving forward. She handled any issues that came up with confidence and provided excellent guidance whenever I needed it.

I was a first time buyer so had lots of unknowns but Rolstons made it simple, straight forward. I had a very good experience working with Rolstons. I started my property search Rolstons and finally they were able to find me a house meeting my requirements. I worked initially with Scott Rose, Stephen Brick and later with Danielle Gennard for most of the time. They all respected my decisions and provided me all the relevant information & support.
Danielle was very supportive throughout the process right from offer acceptance till completion. She kept me updated, explained step by step process, timelines and chased all parties promptly to keep the process moving. Danielle made this complex process smooth and very well-managed. She constantly followed with vendor to resolve my queries or questions.
I’m thankful for all her hard work on my case and would highly recommend her and the team at Rolstons to anyone buying or selling a property.

Superb service! Tom took a real interest in my property and advised me of the most realistic pricing to sell my property (unlike 3 other agencies!) and kept in contact thru all viewings and offers. I would highly recommend Rolstons Estate Agents, They took over selling our house as the previous agents had little success and very few viewings. Once they were appointed we had many viewings over a few weeks, and secured a positive buyer.
Once we had a buyer, we had regular contact nearly every week seeing us through the process with the updates. Both Paul Gillespie and Danielle Gennard were excellent in their help, explaining the process, chasing up when things seemed to go slow, at the start with weekly updates then towards the end daily or even twice daily updates up to exchange.
When phoning the office, all staff were courteous and polite, and knowledgeable in their fields of work, and every time if they said they would ring back, they did, even to the point when they could not have the answer to your query at that time, very reassuring what could have been a worrying time for us as sellers.

The ethos Paul Gillespie has built is evident in every member of the team. Matthew stepped in at key moments — including resolving the stalemate on the damp survey — and his involvement made a significant difference. Daniella handled the sales progression with dedication and consistency, and Kerri’s advert and drone photography were excellent and really showcased the property beautifully. Rolstons were an easy pick to sell my property AND they found me my next home.
They stood out from the rest of the local agencies, and made the whole thing smooth and enjoyable, from going to market to finding a buyer, to getting it through, to completion (although I have to say my buyer and my sellers were good too).
Rolstons are just really competent and know what they are doing. Not to mention their set up is how it should be, with the right people looking after the right departments. Highly recommend.
Specifically though: Danielle for carrying my sale and my purchase through to completion, thank you Danielle! In addition; Tom for bringing my attention to the house I bought; Holly for assisting me with the viewing for it; Kerry for assistance with listing my house for sale online and necessary paperwork for my purchase; Stephen for overseeing the process and Paul for covering for departments when needed.

Well where I would give a review to this agency.
I will have to rate it as one of the lowest rated agencies I have ever experienced.
There is a present Lack of communication between the tenant the agency.
What ever you do, even if you do rent with this agency it’s your choice.
Because, no matter how many times you complain, nothing gets resolved.
When you leave the property, you end up being left in taters as they will make sure they will take most of your deposit.
As the readers know me, from all the reviews I have given to restaurants and the 6 million people view my reviews on gastronomic flavours of the world.
I have decided to open an exception to rate this state agency.

If you want a 5 star service look no further than Rolstons. The whole team was brilliant from the first contact. Special mention to Paul Gillespie who was calm and reassuring when problems arose and Danielle Gennard who handled the sale once an offer was received. Selling your home can be an incredibly difficult and stressful experience. It is prudent to take caution when choosing an Estate Agency to partner with through this process. Having had many difficulties with the Estate Agency we used for the sale of our previous home we decided to do some research and to actually speak with various local Estate Agents. Our neighbours home was sold by Rolstons and when we first reached out to them we were met by Stephen Brick. We favored his no-nonsense approach and he seemed genuinely interested in helping us sell our house. We chose to move forward with Rolstons and throughout the time that our property was on the market, Stephen was constantly in communication. His interest in getting our house sold was genuine. He helped to arrange viewings, determined genuinely interested parties from timewasters and provided regular updates. We did not have to chase or follow up - because he was on the ball.
After the sale of the house was agreed and we had found our new home, the difficulties really set in. We were in a chain with several other parties. Danielle Gennard engaged with all of the other Agents and Solicitors - that were very often causing delays, and she got the sale across the line. Danielle was very clearly the only Agent in the whole chain that was proactively progressing the sale. She is brilliant at what she does.
I can only thank Stephen and Danielle for all their help. They each did their job - but did so exceptionally well.
If you want to sell your house go to these people and you will be writing a similar 5-star review in the not too distant future.

We recently purchased our first time home through Rolston's and were assigned to Danielle Gennard as our Sales Progression Manager - she was nothing less than absolutely amazing! We experienced some issues along the way with our solicitors, and each time she was calm, reassuring and supportive. Each time we had a query she was always available to help and responded to queries in such a professional and timely manner - she kept everything running smoothly and on time. Overall, I think Danielle is an asset to this company - she is calm, friendly, professional, reassuring and knowledgable.
Something else I really appreciate about this particular estate agent company is that they seem to stand on a value system - which is refreshing when so many estate agents seem like they're only trying to nail the sale! They seem to be very supportive of their local community, helping out those who are not estate agents, but need the extra work, and do this by providing them with the opportunity to be available to support prospective buyers with home viewings. In my experience, they were also very keen to work in our best interests as buyers, as well as the vendors best interests - again, most of the time the estate agent seems to be on the sellers side!
I would highly recommend this estate agent if you want to work with professionals who are good at their job and have good intentions, if you can please also request Danielle as your Sales Progression Manager, as I know she will look after you from start to finish.

I was selling house in late 2023, early 2024. long story short, the buyer revised offer, I acted against Rolstons advice at the time and the deal fell through, house was eventfully sold through another agent with even lower market price. It was partially due to a difficult market, partially my own fault didn't listen. However, Rolstons have been hands down the best agents for me, I was always kept in the loop by Matthew and Paul even out side office hours, they are very experienced and extremely knowledgeable. After failing to sell my house with a local agent for what seemed an eternity, i finally found success with Rolstons. i booked a viewing with Scott for what has now turned out to be our forever home and he explained how rolstons could help and how it would be different, half expecting the same dribble i received from other agents i decided i had nothing to lose and invited them around. Stephen came to appraise my house… he was honest. He explained what he felt was incorrect about the current marketing of my house and it was an eye opener. After a few viewings my buyer was found. Paul managed my sale through to the end and i must say, had it not been for him and some added help from matthew in pauls absence, then the whole chain would have collapsed and so not only I, but 3 other families have moved in because of their determination. Rolston's team have been great selling my first home and I would recommend them to anyone, including Shared Ownership sellers (you would be surprised at the level of incompetence with Shared Ownership from other estate agents I shall not name).
In a nutshell - excellent marketing, great transparency and communication from the beginning, nice people.
I had support primarily from Scott during the sale and Stephen during the marketing phase - selling shared ownership in a chain isn't easy but they made a stressful and otherwise painful process feel as easy as can be! Scott had excellent communication and is a genuinely great person. I haven't a single criticism.
Only note for improvement - they are primarily a phone company, which just isn't my style. Personal preference but would've appreciated emails instead of phone calls; they didn't adapt to my preference.
Overall the whole experience was such a breath of fresh air after my first attempt at selling shared ownership with a (cheaper) national well-known company which was so bad, I had to beg their regional director to terminate my contract.
Do not doubt it and go for a cheaper agency - you get what you pay for, as I painfully learned...
Highly recommend Rolston's. Peace of mind and a successful sale enabling me to move on with my life = priceless.

Just trying to book viewings and already particularly unimpressed with these agents. Property adverts don't seem to be updated when sold stc, and the agents seem to be trying to generate their leads in a sneaky manner.
Booked a viewing and was told the wrong property had been booked, and when swapping to the correct property was told it 'could not' be booked sooner as they had more staff to do viewings on the Saturdays. I told them this wasn't a great reason for an agent to not be able to show a property sooner to which the agent agreed, said he would confer with a colleague and call me back, after which I was called back immediately and then told the property had in fact been sold with another agency... Thoroughly unimpressive.

Highly invasive and unprofessional behaviour from Paul Gillespie, he has searched through properties listed on Rightmove, taken the postcode from the site, and house number presumably from the images to then aquire land reg title. He's then messaging people directly on LinkedIn about listings.
Whilst I'm not sure if this a breach of any privacy laws, it feels very invasive and predatory.
For someone with a long career in real estate (according to his own LinkedIn profile) you would assume he would use more moral tactics to gain clients

Worst estate agency, they use Goodlord which you can google and see how bad referencing company they are. We paid our holding deposit and they didn’t take the property off the market. They failed us and refused to give our deposit back trying to play games and make it look like we didn’t submit enough documents, they even forged my husband signature for that matter. Breydon is the worst to deal with, he never answer or call back. I’ll be contacting FCA about them.

We were very happy with Rolstons in terms of helping us find an accommodation in Watford. Based on the houses that we saw, the house shown by Rolstons was quite decent and clean. Breydon & Holli who we were dealings with, were very helpful, pleasing and precise with information provided. Though there was a slight delay in getting the house keys due to pending electricity related certificate from owner, but Breydon made the alternative arrangements in contacting another contractor for early appointment and got us the keys without much delay. Rolstons made our house search easy and moving in to the house comfortable and smooth. When we reported maintenance issue, it was immediately attended with high importance which assures that Rolstons are managing the property with utmost care as well.
