My whole sales process was not an easy task, and there were many factors that made it drag. However, I found Your Move to be very helpful and attentive, not just Azra who was the agent I dealt with directly, but the whole team, including Scott, who helped me get my deal over the line.
Many agents wash their hands of you after they make a sale, however Your Move were really helpful in contacting seller and solicitors to get the deal over the line, and they were always attentive and happy to speak. I highly recommend Your Move Watford, they are easy to work with and will do everything to make sure youe deal goes through

I bought my property through Your Move and rented it through their lettings department. The sales team were really good, I dealt with Azra and found her to be very knowledgeable, proffessional, helpful she was proactive and always there for me for anything I needed. The solicitors slowed things down but with Azra progressing the sale I was kept informed with updates every couple of days. The lettings team rented my house within a few days and were also very professional. I can not recommend the YOUR MOVE team and Azra enough. Thank you for making this stressful process easier.

Azra is an excellent sales progressor. Unfortunately, there were lots of delays at my end, (I was a buyer not seller with Your Move) but she was very professional and effective and is a credit to Your Move. If I ever sell again, I would choose Your Move purely on the basis of Azra being the progressor, because she works very hard to make things happen. She is professional, courteous but consistent in chasing, chasing, chasing.

Its been a year since I was first in contact with agency. Azra in particular, very helpful, honest and one thing that me and my husband really liked- she was not pushy with the property we had seen or how things were going on. I have had the absolute worst experience with zyreen and others working with her .. they don’t answer the phone and when they do they are out of office. Then found out zyreen was off on holiday and no one wanted to deal with me until she was back despite the urgency. Took two weeks off work just to chase up everything and doing their work on top of it. Absolutely avoid this agency made me hate my life. Unprofessional. Just use openrent and deal directly with landlords quicker and will save you the hastle.

If i could give 0 stars I would!!! PLEASE AVOID THIS AGENCY!!!! We had a view arranged two weeks ago, made our offer, paid deposit and sent all paperwork required. The agent Tia proceded to ignore our calls and emails, did not respond to any of our emails at all and every time we called their office they told us she is out of office and will call us back. Guess what, NO ONE ever did!! We were stuck for more then 2 weeks from looking for a flat to rent, and she kept postpone the answer saying she did not receive some reports. Today my partner went to their office and they were laughing to his face, “sorry, i was just about to call you” she said we lost the deposit and we failed referencing. No written confirmation, no explanation whatsoever, we just need to trust her word and loose some money. We are under a lot of pressure because we need to move, and this was the worst experience we ever had in our lives of renting. I am still waiting for an explanation regarding what happened and why we are not able to get a refund, law it s stating that deposit needs to be refunded!!!!!!

My husband and I have just left there office, what an unprofessional hideous experience. When entering there is no desire to make you feel welcome instead we were made to feel as though we were a nuisance disturbing they're lunch break! After confirming we were looking for sales, we were told to take a seat in front of Martin's desk, who could not have been more rude, not only was he extremely unprofessional and unpleasant he wasn't very helpful forthcoming or engaging, he is an terrible representation for your brand, following jotting down our detail's on a messy peice of paperwhich was another prime example of his lack of interest he then proceeds to inform us he has nothing to offer, I'm not surprised at the lack of business your office must have if he is the face of whom people are having to deal with.
I wouldn't recommend this agency to anyone in fact I would avoid at all cost, if your serious about buying or selling give this office a WIDE BIRTH.

As a buyer this agent didn't seem to care much for me. It is absolutely disgusting to now find out I've brought a house next door to some potential dealers. Clearly they carried out viewings and open days on multiple occasions and must've noted the neighbour was strange yet no warning given to me. I specifically asked both agent and vendor about the neighbour and wasn't given the dirt.
Also almost half a million spent on a house whilst the vendor made a tone of money by carry out simple hacks around the house to now see the plasters behind the walls need re doing...tiles, door under stairs tapped by duck tape, is disgraceful....all of which was covered by furniture.
I carried out a homebuyers report and there was actually a tone of things needed done but I negotiated the most expensive work as I was afraid to state all of them....when I did put forward only one thing the agent used so many excuses to say that surveyors do this, it's nothing...word of warning the surveyor is a specialist, hired by you to tell them what you can't see, listen to the surveyor and not the agent because in the end if you don't negotiate you may end up with a property and expenses you didn't budget for, that's me...im sure a lot of people do go through this and its unfair as the rental market supports tenants but the sale market doesn't support a buyer.
I wish I was told the truth and I wish I negotiated more. Thanks YourMove!

The agency forced me to prepay for 6 months twice while there was physical and psychological harassment from one of the tenants towards the rest of the household members and the neighbours. As the agency refused to take action I managed to leave one month before the prepaid period with written confirmation from their staff that they will refund the rent for any months that I have not lived in the property. Basically stole £650 from me as they ignored all my emails for the past 4 months that I have asked for the refund. During my stay they were also extremely unhelpful and just ignored the tenants needs or requests. We were lucky to have a handyman close to one of the tenants so he would help us with house issues. I have lived in London for 10 years and never have had money taken from me after we had an arrangement. I will post the names of the people who I have written communication as well, if they don't refund me back.

Currently disputing my deposit return, I have moved out of the property 3 months ago, I accidentally overpaid the landlord by £120 and am only asking for £80 back but neither the landlord or the agency is doing anything to help.
They only contact me when they want money yet when various things were broken/ needed fixing around the flat I was completely ignored for months i.e the boiler that broke during the winter, the broken tap that was fixed by the end of my tenancy, the raging black mould issue which I'm now being charged for.
Honestly I don't recommend this company, you are better off with anyone else.

Whilst Azra in the Watford branch worked hard, I found David Flower to be unprofessional, didn't listen and just spoke over me during conversations. I also had to go through 2 layers of complaint process for Your Move to honour the commission agreement that was verbally agreed (as they don't record their calls) and his email was worded vaguely.
After mistakes on the initial listing and the invoice, with hindsight I wish I'd used someone else and will never use them again.

The three stars is for everything leading up to the point our sale was agreed. Getting the photos done and the property listed went well and quickly, arranging the viewings went well. We agreed a sale relatively quickly and started the process. This is where it all went wrong. We had the property we were buying fall through and told YM but got no response. We found a new property within a week and the chain was highly motivated to move quickly. Still nothing from YM. Our buyer had a survey done and we agreed to get some damp work done. The only contact from YM was to make sure we didn't reduce the sale cost but to arrange to pay for it separately so it didn't affect their commission. Over a 4 week period this was the only call received. All dealings with our buyer were done by us. Without checking where the delay was YM had the audacity to email a further 3 weeks later suggesting we exchange on our sale before we exchanged on our purchase so they could secure their commission. The delay was with our buyers solicitor, something YM would have known if they had bothered to keep in touch with anyone involved in the process. We then come to exchange and YM appeared to not what to get involved with our buyers solicitor. I had to tell YM if the exchange did not happen we would pull out of the sale to get them to get involved. Apparently a call had been made but as no one had told me this I couldn't have known! Finally it comes to completion. Due to working from home YM did not have a key to our property as I had been home and done most of the viewings my self. I asked YM to pick up a key a week before the completion date as they are out and about all the time and thought this was not too much to ask, but it was. Nothing from YM on this until I rang them 2 days before completion asking what was happening with the key to be told they had arranged that our buyer would pick it up from us once the funds were transferred and would only be 15 minutes away. Apparently an email was sent 5 days before hand which I had not received. Surely you follow up if you don't get a reply? It seemed too much trouble for YM to look after their customer. On the day our buyer was over an hour away. When I mentioned poor communication I was told I could always reach out! I shouldn't be chasing YM to communicate with me! Once the sale was agreed YM seemed to forget who their customer was and who was paying their commission. Over all YM made a stressful process more so.

11.There was no contact made from Your.move, its a general excuse to say you tried to contact ,unyil we made the contact thete was not even a single mail or call from you.
12.I did give a feedback that i wasnt impressed with your follow up but there was no response from your end until this review came up and i gave you thecexact timeline when and how your company responded.
13.I would appreciate if you would imptove servjce atleast to other clients ,rather than providing heveric excuses.Thank you...
1.Called up and fixed up an appointment for viewing(renting), when we reached the location of the property, there was no one around to usher us in ,we tried calling the agents but the call went to voice mail. We tried our luck by pushing the call button of the property we were supposed to have a view, luckily the current tenant was kind enough to allow us in for a viewing and the tenant in turn commented that they werent intimated about the viewing at all. This was a definite red flag but we chose to ignore!!!
2.When we called up the next day, there was no clue for the person who attended the call that we had an appointment for viewing , we informed that we had an appointment and no one from Your move turned up and the tenant was kind enough to let us in and we would like to rent the property. There was no call back for the next three days.2nd red flag !!
3.We called up on the fourth day for a follow up and they agreed to let and asked to put down a deposit ( which we did ).
4.We were sent a draft contract and they asked us to come back if there are queries , we read through the draft and replied with a set of questions.
5.There was no reply for the queries even after a week ( red flag but too late)
6. When we called up for the follow up, they werent aware that we sent a mail and it took few more days for them to reply
7. We felt the service was a let down and there was no proper communication on anything and we started to think, if in case we rent and if something is not right, its going to take ages to acknowledge and sort it out with them.
8.We stated that we arent going ahead with renting , because of the poor service & lack of communication right from the viewing and requested a refund.
9. They denied saying it was our fault that we arent renting and there was no fault with them ( though the mails/phone call records would prove otherwise).
Hope this helps whoever is trying to employ Your move for renting/leasing/buying .

I wish I read these reviews before embarking on finding our flat via Your Move. At the begining it was straightforward, we liked the flat and landlord accepted us. Then we went into their office to give our ids-I still don't know how you cannot make photocopy docs properly and why you would wait the day that we were to have our keys to say that you didn't make the right copies when we came in awhile back- when our belongings were in storage and stayed in a hotel the night before because you didn't sort things out in time for us to have keys. Then the lady who was suppose to sort out our contract didn't come in the next day (or atleast that's what we were told) and no one seems to be available to speak with. Absolutely no consideration or empathy of their actions on people's lives, let alone common sense or an ounce of professionalism.

Booked a viewing for a two bedroom flat. Came at exact time and no one was there. Agent wasn't there and didn't plan to be there at all. They didn't prevent us. Tenant opened the door and showed us the house. Despite the fact that the house was very moldy, the agency service was awfull. Sometimes I have the feeling that the mission of the agent is not to find new tenants.

Called about a house for rent. Managed to see a virtual tour of the house on Thursday. Called back on Friday to discuss the next steps. Nobody from lettings was available so they put me to leave a message as someone will call back. Never did called.
Called back on Saturday to discuss again the next steps for the property. They recommended to call back on Monday as the house is being sold to the new landlord and it will be available from Monday onwards.
Called today, they already received offers on the house and they do not get more offers.

I have never had to write such a horrendous review until my experience with this company. First off, do not expect them to get in touch with you when you need them. First day moving into my new flat I had to call them multiple times to see when the keys were ready. They originally said in the morning and was not able to pick them up till 5 pm. I had also asked for the flat to be cleaned and found the place with stains in the cupboards, on the walls, multiple things of the old tenant as well as dust and grime everywhere.
I called again since I had not received the inventory. Sneakily, they gave it to me weeks later and gave me a narrow window to dispute it. They finally got in contact with me when I did not pay first months rent due to the fact they did not give me their banking details even with me calling and emailing them. I literally was trying to give them my money and finally when they reached out in a snarky manner I was finally able to get the details I needed.
Another experience I had with this business is when I had to go into the office due to my error of locking myself out. There were several employees there and no other clients, yet the way I was treated was appalling. First off no one would even look at me for several minutes and then of course they didn't have a spare. I ended up having to drive an hour without a phone to find a spare key, which is fine due to me error.
The true frustration is whenever I emailed and responded no one would get back to me or when I called. I am amazed these people are still working and should be truly ashamed of their lack of ability to do their job.
If I could I would give them a zero stars. Be warned!

The wait was long and stressful, but trust us, it was worth it.

I want to say a few words of appreciation to Azra and David for all hard work and customer focus delivery they have shown me, in these few weeks.
Some history, when I bought my first house, in 1993, Azra, helped me find the house, guided me through the process and helped with sales negotiation with the buyer.
In 2001, when I sold my house, which she helped me to buy, I called upon her services. she came round, measured up snd the property was on the market and sold within 3/4 months (from placing it on the market to exchange and completion). At all times, I was kept updated and had constant visits from buyers. Azra, made the whole process seeminngless for myself and my wife.
I’m now in the process of selling my residential property and once again I called upon Yourmove, to market my property, first before, I would consider any other estate agent. I thank David and Azra for their professional service. I’m sure, they will get the best price possible bearing in mind the economical climate.

One tear later when I’ve moved they tried to get more money from me everyway the could: make me stay another month/ or paying more rent or even actually blaming me for damage done by previous tennants! And they are very good in accusing people. Luckily I had tge inventory check before I moved so I was able to prove it was not my damage

Having heard nothing but positive feedback from others regarding your move, I was very disappointed in the service given.
We were the buyer in a no-chain purchase. We were chased at every turn by the estate agent for paperwork that our conveyancing solicitor already had, or told wrong milestone dates, or given completely false information.
Once we completed I was then thoroughly underwhelmed by the communications with the estate agent. We called up to ask when we could pick the keys up and were told any time, I told them we would be there around 15:30/16:00, we turned up and explained who we were....they couldn't have been less interested, or prepared. Asked me for ID, I showed my passport, it was glanced it, and then the keys were just shoved over to us.
Possibly my own fault for thinking that there might have been more of a fanfare considering it was our first house. However all it's taught me is that Your Move aren't people I would choose to deal with again, and I will advise others of the same.

Having been on the market with another independent agent for several months we instructed Your Move and they were nothing short of impressive. The initial advice from David at the valuation was great (very honest) and there was no 'hard sell' to us which we really liked.
Communication is key when you're selling your house and Your Move were fantastic at it. Paige, David and the team always kept us in the loop with viewings, feedback and reassuring us all will be fine when we got nervous! We must have taken up so much of their time but nothing was ever too much. This agency is rubbish. I had a problem with one of their tenants who I live next door to. I called them to complain about the damage to my property and noise from them and they were very unhelpful. I have left messages for them to call me back but they never did. I had to keep chasing them up which was very annoying. They just don't care as long as they get their money and fees from the landlord after that they are not interested. Avoid them at all costs!!!
