Please avoid using Siddall Jones estate agent, this is very fraudulent agency, this is nightmare for both landlords and buyers.
We offered the Commercial property on asking price last week, they accepted the offer , took all the Id's and relevant information, proof of funds etc, also ask us to instruct the solicitors, we paid the solicitors £1,500+vat and £375+ vat searches fess.
Today, Ryan from Siddall Jones emailed me stating they are going with some other party.
I spoke to our solicitors and they confirmed nothing much we can legal do as exchanged of contract was not done, but they recommend to complaint to Ombudsmen service and put the Google review, so others can avoid the trap. as this can be seen as Malpractice and the estate agents are have inside dealing to make themself more money out of the deal. I am sure they are also risking client's property and keep them in the long hold to reduce the property price and sell it as inside dealing.
Please avoid using Siddall Jones estate agent, this is nightmare for both landlords and buyers.

We were extremely interested in one of their commercial properties and immediately made an offer. To speed up the process, we asked if they had a partner law firm or a recommended one, believing this would help secure the property quickly. Despite having our own trusted law firm, we decided to trust Siddall Jones and use their recommended lawyer.
BIG MISTAKE. Despite numerous follow-ups from their recommended lawyer, the process dragged on endlessly. Ultimately, the seller withdrew our purchase and sold the property to another buyer! Throughout this entire ordeal, neither the lawyer nor Siddall Jones bothered to help us follow up or communicate with the landlord. As a result, we lost the chance to buy a prime property.
The landlord’s reason for withdrawing was that they received another buyer's deposit, which we were ready and able to provide as well. But NO ONE from Siddall Jones communicated with the landlord to understand his requirements, leading to this loss.
This fiasco cost us a prime property, wasted our time, and drained our money on mortgage applications and pre-purchase legal costs.
Totally unacceptable! DO NOT TRUST this company. They do not care about their clients AT ALL.

I’ve only ever dealt with Ryan over the years, he has only been helpful whenever I’ve needed his services. Double thumbs up and I’d like to think that with the way Ryan has dealt with me in that time that the other members of staff would also be at the same level, however I choose to stick with Ryan and deal with him directly.

We started our search for a city centre office in October & contacted Siddall Jones who had a number of properties we wanted to view. We have agreed on a property through them mid November and picked the keys up on January 3rd. Fantastic service from the team in particular Sophie Froggatt who was friendly, informative and very helpful. Highly recommend them as an agent.

I put in an offer to rent a commercial property. I was totally ghosted by Sophie at Sidall-Jones. She stopped responding to my phone calls and my emails. The woman at reception acts like a guard dog to prevent passing your call through. They also took down the asking rental price off the website. I can only assume that I was ghosted so they could get more money from another prospect. After reading other reviews on the internet, I fully agree. They have awful communication and no customer service skills, will never use them again.

Arranged a viewing over a week ago to view a commercial property in Birmingham. Arrived at 10:50am yesterday for 11am. At 11:05 no one had arrived, so I contacted their office.
I was told their colleague had left and would be with us any minute. 30 mins later, no one had turned up - so we decided to leave at 11:35am.
We had travelled almost an hour to view the property, so in total over 2.5 hours was wasted.
Totally unprofessional, I did not bother calling again, as we were not going to wait any longer. Clearly have no customer service.

Very unprofessional we have used them several times now but now is the last. As a seller they had me running around. They told me that the property had an offer then when chasing it, they said the buyer has chosen something else that they are also selling. This happened a number of times on each property. Useless is the word

Ryan has given me lots of good advice over the years regarding a commercial property, and valued the premises, more than once, free of charge. I decided to sell in over the summer, Ryan marketed the property and had viewings arranged within a week. He secured multiple offers at the price I was seeking and we completed on the sale within 2 months. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend or return, the whole process excellent.

???????????I have never met such an unprofessional estate agent(Ryan) in my life, and when I see any unit represented by this company in the future, I will not consider renting/buying.
If you choose to use their services????????, it is definitely a waste of your own time. Especially if you're unlucky enough to meet “Ryan”, as others have said in the comments below, he won't email you back and won't find him on the phone.
It will takes him two weeks or more to reply an extremely unclear answer to you, even if he has been contracted to draft you, when you have questions, he still does not reply to you. Why send the contract draft ???????????, if you don’t want to continue the process???
No one is going to wait for you fever!!
Dear landlords, I wish you the best of luck, if your property has not been rented out, it is not that no one is interested, but the company chooses to ignore it. No matter how much patience you have, and how politely you ask, they are all very indifferent and may simply disappear.

????Absolutely disgraceful behaviour, tried to initially put an offer to purchase the property as it was initially advertised for £300k to then £350+.
Then saying it’s not available to purchase after making an offer and the vendors decided to rent, so they say!!!
Then they asked for my accounts and afterwards they mentioned that Emma pierce’s college has taken someone else’s offer.
So unprofessional and it’s better to be straight with someone than to tell a pack of lies.
If you are looking to rent, purchase or even advertise your property, I’d stay very clear from this scrupulous company as they are very, unprofessional ????.

Bad commercial behavior in the negotiations and in the communication to the customer, they accept the offers you can continue to propose the property to receive higher offers and when they received new offers they do not communicate to the previous bidder!

Siddall Jones were recommended to us by our accountant when we were looking for a tenant for our office.
Ryan was our agent and was on the ball from the first phone call we made. A few possible tenants were quickly found and Ryan liaised with us and our now tenant in an efficient manner. Ryan also arranged a licence to occupy whilst our solicitor was putting together the formal lease.
Ryan made the whole process easy and smooth and we are pleased with the tenant and lease that was negotiated.

We recently tried to rent a commercial property that SJ had. Ryan the representative had zero knowledge nor could answer any of our inquiries. Weeks later still no emails, month later we received an email that our offer was declined with no explanation as to why. Many attempts later to speak to anyone other then receptionists fell on death ears. Terrible run business all should avoid at all costs.

I have tried on several occasions to talk to the so called person dealing with a property for sale, in two weeks I have had no feed back, no calls. This must be the most unprofessional estate agent in the country, you constantly get told by the office staff the person you need to speak to is out the office, I would certainly like a job like his being paid to be out the office, never returning calls and being paid. Stay away from these people if you want to buy or sell complete total waste of time

We saw an office to let , through this agency . The representative was a guy called Ryan. From the start they were not very responsive and delayed answering our enquiries. We ultimately made an offer which was accepted by the owner. While waiting for the relevant documentation, Ryan took another offer to the owner .Why? An offer was on the table accepted and agreed.
Under offer was not put on the advertisement. Having chased too many times to mention, we finally received a dismissive reply saying they had accepted the other offer. Now this may not be illegal. However, it does smack of a lack of good old fashioned professionalism. We will never use this agency again. I would advise others to steer clear. You will only be disappointed. I will be more than happy to have a discussion with Ryan’s line manager, should they think I’m wrong.

Two all landlords dont put your property with this estate agent they dont care about your property getting rented they make there own decisions my advice advertise on gumtree or Facebook you get a high response and a better rent for you commercials property get the documents drawn up by a solicitor its easy and straightforward dont waste your time with estate agents

Little man thinks he's a big shot.
If you approach siddle Jones's be prepared to be overcharged. They will create false bidding wars on properties and try and hook you into a false bidding battle.
Siddle jones are less than adequate in commercial lettings I would never ever approach siddle jones again.
I urge landlords not to use this company.
If the managing director wasn't around so much perhaps excuses could be made.
On this occasion he is in the office 9-5 between meetings... Apparently. But he won't ring you back far too important for customers.
