We have recently purchased our first family home through Sinnott green and I wanted to express how unbelievably stress free, supported and smooth Andrew and Tom have made the journey. As always there will be bumps in the road during the process and we have been reassured and comforted by the experience and knowledge that Sinnott green have. We would highly recommend the brilliant estate agents here in portslade village and cannot fault anything from our very first viewing right up until minor details after exchanging. The dealings I've had with them have always been very positive.
Both Andrew and Tom have been very professional, courteous, and friendly.
They only deal with local properties, so they have years of experience in the area.

As sellers of a more "senior" nature, we were always dreading the time when we would have to go through the experience of putting our house on the market, and finding a new home.
However, both Andrew and Tom have made things go as smoothly as possible throughout the process, despite some hiccups along the way. Andrew has constantly kept us updated with progress during each stage of things, and dealt both professionally and sympathetically with any concerns from us, or our buyer, as we headed toward completing the sale. It certainly pays to have people with this amount of knowledge and experience handling things for you.
They have also helped advise us on the purchase of our new home, despite not actually being involved in it's sale, recommending a local surveyor to carry out the survey, and liasing with the sellers agent to ensure things all went to plan. The agent was so impressed with Andrew that she said she would be recommending him to one of her clients who was looking to buy in his area !!
They really could not have been more helpful, and we would not hesitate to recommend the services of Sinnott Green to anyone who is looking to sell or buy their next home.

A very poor experience from Tom, the partner or Sinnott Green. From the initial viewing Tom appeared arrogant and uninterested in showing us the property and after we made two offers, the first of which was declined, I was told that they would give me more feedback once other viewings had taken place. The communication was very poor and I was left chasing them constantly for updates. After another chasing call today, I was told that the property had been sold to another purchaser!! After sharing my frustration with how Tom had handled the situation and his poor communication, I was disappointed that Tom became defensive, lied and deflected instead of taking accountability for his actions. Service and reputation is everything in the estate agency world and this company fall short in so many areas.

I have used them 3 times over the past 20 years. They have very good knowledge of the area including Transport links, Schools, Local shops and Businesses. They are familiar with all types of properties in the area, and I would highly recommend them.

Appalling service at every juncture. Not only did I have the misfortune of purchasing through these cowboys, but they were selling my property as well having being sprung the yarn that it would 'help' me secure the property I was buying. Is this allowed??. Suffice to say it all fell through at the last minute and we are now about £2000 down as a result and effectively homeless. Avoid like the plague, they will lie to you repeatedly and they are only interested in their commission, nothing else. COWBOYS

I contacted Sinnott Green estate agents yesterday morning to inquire about renting a property on Goldstone Road. Having rung several times with no answer, I finally managed to get through to somebody. I explained to the estate agent that I was interested in renting said property, to which the man simply barked "It's gone" and hung up. I was shocked and appalled by this unbelievable disregard for customer service and more to the point, I was disgusted by the astoundingly rude manner of the man on the other end of the phone. There was no mention of alternative properties that may be of interest, nor any offer to take my details and contact me in future. With so many respectable estate agents in Brighton and Hove, I would consider Sinnot Green to be an extraordinarily poor choice for landlords and tenants alike.

We recently purchased a property through Sinnott Green and found them to be very helpful and efficient in dealing with the purchase. They are a small agency which means they are much more personable in dealing with clients. Because of their great service we also rented our property out through them without any problems. Highly recommended.

I called the office to make an appointment to view a house that was listed on Right Move. I spoke to Tom who was very pleasant on the phone and was able to fit me in the very next day at a time that suited me. He offered to either meet me at his office or at the property which I found most accommodating, since all the other agents I'd viewed with only gave me one option - meet at the property (bit tricky when you're new to an area).
Tom was clearly very knowledgeable about the area and the period of the property, pointing out original features. He was also very helpful in understanding how the property could be adapted to create a different space and more family friendly layout.
I didn't buy the property, but hope that something else will come up with Sinnott Green that takes my fancy as I certainly felt as though I'd be in safe hands.

A friend of the family recommended we use Sinnott Green to sell our house after they had a good experience with them.
We are so pleased we did! They sold our house in Thornbush Crescent, Portslade and achieved full asking price!!
They were so very helpful from start to finish and we cannot thank them enough for their effort and time they spent often above and beyond the call of duty. Without hesitation I can recommend them and already have done so to family and friends.
If you want an agent that cares, takes the time and effort with you with advice and help through what is often a stressful process, then they are the agent for you.

Absolutely appalling service. Made an offer on a house and as it was under the selling price on the site we were told that we were "taking the mickey, wasting their time, and we shouldn't be looking for properties that we couldn't afford".
When I politely told the person his response was rude and unprofessional, he replied with "To be honest I don't care what you think and my manager doesn't either" We are still not sure whether the offer was even communicated to the home owner in the first place.
We are first time buyers and this was our first offer on the house (which was open to negotiation). Making a lower offer on a house is not uncommon.
We will never use Sinnott Green and have told all our friends & family who are also looking to sell and buy properties to stay far away. Looking at other reviews online, it appears we are not alone.
