After trying to sell with two well known agents without success, we approached Kevin at Weatherills. During our first chat, it was clear that he offered good advice based on solid experience and knowledge. We soon had lots of viewings followed by a successful sale. My wife and I appreciated all the advice and guidance given. The communication with the staff was first class, particularly Emma who always kept us up to date and pushed things along for us. We appreciated the approach and professionalism of all the staff, and with their help and that of their recommendations for a solicitor, we are now getting settled in our new home since moving around 3 weeks ago.

I saw a house online and fell for it! I took my husband along to view it with Kevin, and announced that it just had to happen… I could feel it in my bones! It wasn’t straightforward at all, and it required the team to market and sell our property at short notice… but Kevin went above and beyond to make it happen for us. Sometimes you meet the right people and they work magic! (I know that experience and being excellent at your job is the secret… but to me it was magic!) Kevin & Emma were amazing and they both kept us well-informed throughout the entire process, making sure we knew what was happening at every step and making us feel thoroughly looked after. Kevin Weatherill is an arrogant and rude man who should not work with the public. During our offer process, he was adamant we did not have enough of a deposit, without asking us a single question about how much we had or what we do for work. Its a clear case of discrimination. Do yourself a favour, especially if you are a woman, and avoid this “business” at all costs!

My wife was dealing with all aspects of our house move and Weatherill were the agents of our vendors and not our agents. I was surprised about the amount of contact they had with us during the whole process considering they did not need to contact us and how much this slowed down the move and made it more stressful than it should have been. I listened in to a couple of phone calls between Kevin and my wife and was shocked at his attitude towards her, this quickly changed once I regularly took part in the calls. Kevins communication methods seem to be provoking conflict between us and our own agents, we felt belittled by his advice that we never even asked for and were constantly on edge as we might get a phone call at any point in the day or evening. I can see that there are many 1 star reviews saying the same things. Its disappointing that these issues have not been addressed on the basis of mass agreement.

Our move went ahead despite the unsolicited 'expertise' that was forced upon us through frequent phone calls. I need to emphasise that you were not our agents. You had no business calling us directly.
Its obvious that you will continue to bury your heads in the sand regarding Kevins attitude and people skills especially regarding females. Its irrelevant that 75% of the staff are female and therefore I'm wrong and clearly all the other reviews that agree with mine are probably also wrong.
Kevin, you have passion and knowledge and I think you really care about what you do I can see that but please just listen to the bad reviews and make something amazing happen as a result.
Thats me done. This is no longer my issue. It needn't be an issue for you guys either with just a couple of tweaks here and there. I wish you all the best.

From the start Kevin showed himself to be experienced and knowledgeable and the subsequent service we received was of a great standard. We were always impressed by the enthusiasm of Emma in particular about the key selling points of our home when she did the viewings. We found communication to be great and timely, with quick responses unlike from some other agents we had dealings with. We pulled out of a purchase today because Kevin decided not forward our revised offer onto the seller after we provided him with findings of our survey. He practically called our surveyor a liar.
I found Kevin to be rude, shouty and patronising, not something you would expect from someone of "51 years of age"...which is something he kept barking at me over the phone when I suggested it wasn't ethical and against the code of practice for him to have not forwarded our revised offer onto the seller for 2 days.

We bought a house in 2020, found the owner of Weatherhill's to be very arrogant & rude, especially to my wife and pretty sure he broke a few codes of conduct in refusing to take our offer/enquiries to the seller. Then once we'd had it accepted and he knew our mortgage allowance, he tried to upsell us to the house next door and others. Not a pleasant experience and certainly wouldn't recommend.

It was the stamp duty holiday so everyone was trying to complete by the deadline and Kevin spoke to us every day for weeks to ensure we got this sorted, found us a brilliant solicitor, helped when our mortgage fell through. We had a good experience with Wetherills. They arrived promptly, and took some really good photos. They gave good advice on price, arranged an open day for viewing, and they were transparent about the position of all 3 potential buyers. We selected the ones with no chain behind them.
Fast forward 3 months and we have just exchanged on the sale.
Kevin gave good advice every step of the way, and communicated well with us and the buyers. Completion is next Friday.

I have recently sold my father's house through The Weatherill Property Group. Sadly my father died during the first lockdown so it was a really upsetting time. I live on the Isle of Wight so it wasn't easy to try and sell a house in Brighton but everyone at Weatherills was totally professional, friendly, quick to respond to any queries and just looked after the sale for me.
They took photos and made up the brochure within a week. They decided to do an open day, all manned and taken care of by Linda Weatherill, and the house sold straight away.
I cannot recommend them highly enough. If you have any concerns about dealing with 'estate agents' then don't. Everyone at Weatherills is human, kind, funny and professional.

We have recently just sold our house with the Weatherill Property Group and I would highly recommend them to anyone selling in the Brighton and Hove area. Everyone we dealt with was professional, friendly and always gave honest answers. Our house sold after only being on the market for a couple of weeks and Weatherills have gone above and beyond in their help with assisting with any questions and helping finalise the exchange date. We mainly dealt with Jacob in their office and he was helpful the whole way through the process whether it was booking appointments or chasing people for feedback.

Stereotypical agent. In our opinion overvalued property to get the business. Do not answer emails or calls but if they want to come round for any reason will expect you to drop everything even if you are off to work, and will not take no for an answer. Requested they drop the price to what we considered to be a more realistic price and would think they would be happy to do this to attract a first viewing - but no. Invited by them by letter for ideas etc. on marketing. When submitted, no reply to email let alone implementation.
Not one single viewing. Requested another photo after improvements implemented. Promised call back/ email and a visit to photo expensive improvements to help them with their job but not forthcoming.
These people will cost you money in the long run. Due to their appalling disinterest we asked for property to be taken off the market. This was not done. Why would an honest agent refuse to do this? What is the point of having a house on the website if it’s not actually for sale? They are compromising our security by doing this. Definitely not adhering to The Estate Agents Act 1979. Please report to the Property Ombudsman to stop abuse of others.
Will assume it is to make it look as if they have stock and to be vindictive as they are annoyed their bullying tactics and threat of charging us anyway for advertising has not stopped clients leaving. Have looked at RightMove statistics and to date, this agent is bottom of the pile in terms of properties sold and the number of clients who have chosen to use them. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. There are actually some non-stereotypical agents out there.
Feel they took advantage and bullied us into using them with false promises. Found them to be very pushy and dishonest.
