I have just completed on (and moved into) a shared ownership flat in Brighton with the support of Jon Robinson from Site Sales. From first viewing, through second and desperate third viewings too, Jon was a patient, knowledgable and authentic guide. It's clear with Jon and Site Sales that it's a human first approach, and I genuinely felt looked after, informed and represented every step of the way. It can sometimes be a scary and confusing time buying your first home on your own, but Jon made the entire process so much more approachable. No question was too small, and Jon was always a phone call away to help/measure things/cry to! I felt Jon had a genuine interest in helping me achieve what I wanted, whether that be going through with the sale or not. It was a genuinely heart warming experience getting my keys from Jon at the final tour of the flat. I could not recommend Jon and Site Sales enough. If only I could buy another one! Mixed experience, but fundamentally nice people and very responsive. I’m buying in London so dealt with Connor, who I can’t fault at all, best part of Connor is the fact every single time I dialled his work number it was answered every time apart from once when I got called me quickly anyway. That makes a real difference being able to have that contact and was massively appreciated. I didn’t like the pressure to move things along so quickly, despite the delays to the property and slowness from the sellers end. Gave four stars not five because of how long it took to view the actual property also, really disappointing to only get in with around ten days before I complete which is really disappointing for a massive life purchase like this.... My first viewing was with a gentleman named Rob. He was so kind and made the experience really relaxed and pleasant, where I've found some places rush you and it's a bit stressful. I think the patient approach actually adds to the feel of the property. He even joined in helping me get a really nice video of the flat to show my family ???? from then on I dealt with Amy who went above and beyond repeatedly despite me being a bit of a pain at times. She actually called me to let me know when a flat that was affordable for me came back up, and let me come back to see and measure the flat as many times as I needed to and fielded my never ending questions. Absolutely shambolic experience with Site Sales. My contact, Derreck from the London branch, was an absolute crook. I put an offer in for a property, then a revised offer, and then there was radio silence for 2+ weeks. I followed up with multiple emails and texts to more radio silence until I got an email from him telling me another offer had come in that weekend and had been accepted by the developers - he couldn't even be bothered to call me or update me on the situation to see if I wanted to further revise my offer. Shocking! Shout out to Jon Robinson who I was dealing with originally on the property as he was great but handed over to Derreck as he was moving to another development. took 2 weeks to respond to a request to view a property, finally got to see it and was ready to take property. Asked 2 vital questions, was given one answer then told it was gone and offered another home 2 days after I asked the questions. I work in property and have never left someone waiting 2 days let alone 2 weeks. - 20/10 I received a call to apologies for the missteps here which was a fair start. We will see if my next interaction when it comes to another property can change my mind though. 4/12 - I have secured the home and now that I'm dealing direct with the team on site things have run very smoothly, Georgia has been a great help and I look forward to starting the new year in a wonderful home!... if you are lucky enough to come across sam in your experience with site sales, count your lucky stars, he made buying the property very easy and simple. me and my girlfriend are very young and didnt know anything when coming to buy a property with shared ownership but sams contacts made it very easy for us. we needed a mortgage broker he knew someone. we needed a solicitor he knew someone. without sam i dont think we wouldve been able to get a property at 20 so a massive thank you to him.... Absolutely horrible experience. We have booked a viewing and when I was in front of the building called them and they said that the flat has been sold without giving me any notification in advance. After enquiring about a property back in late july i was appointed my Agent , Sam. Sam went above and beyond to make the sale as quick and as smoothly as possible chasing people who needed chasing on time etc and being extremely professional and helpful along the way. Feels like after selling they can't be bothered to assist you anymore and you left dealing with things on your own. I've been given a welcome pack which is 50% wrong and I have been given even wrong model of flooring when asked to find out a quote. It seemed ok at the beginning but then from a customer service point of you I think they dropped to 5%. I'll find out stuff by myself.... Read more
