In 2015, my pregnant partner and i were moment away from moving into a flat through southcoast property. All of out checks came back absolutely fine, I don't remember how much we paid for the fees at the time, I want to say close to £500, but after paying all of our fees (not including the deposit and first months rent) we suffered a crisis that prevented us from paying the first months rent. We lost every single penny from the fees. Everything. The snowball effect from this was unimaginable. And they did not care one bit, as long as they had there money they were fine. My partner at the time, the mother of my child, she died recently (completely unrelated to any of this) and knowing that this was always a source of anger for her I feel morally obligated to let people know what could happen and the absolute lack of support that these guys will offer to help...
