I could not recommend Spencers and in particular George Jones more highly. George had been specifically recommended to me by a high end property search consultant in the area and I am so grateful for that recommendation. He is professional, calm, good humoured and very level headed. He has a can do attitude and always does what he says he is going to do (and probably more in the background!). He communicates promptly, seamlessly and strikes exactly the right tone to achieve the desired outcome. He keeps things running on track even when a derailment looks likely - an important quality in these markets.

We purchased our property in Lymington through Spencers and completed towards the end of August. We found them very professional, all the way through from first viewing through to completion. Our two main contacts were Pippa and Hannah, both of whom were very helpful and remained calm when things got tricky. I have used Spencers on two occasions to sell a property. On both occasions they were very professional in the manner in which they conducted the sale.
Neville was my point of contact. He had great charisma and drive to achieve a sale on both my properties. He knew and understood the local property market well and everything important about the surrounding location, including schools, leisure facilities and shopping.
The property was valued to sell appropriately and negotiation and selling skills were first-rate with clients, maintaining positivity along the way.
Neville had very good communication and feedback skills, was proactive and kept in touch, using tech to speed up the processes. I have to say Neville went the extra mile to ensure the sales went through.

We recently purchased a property outside Lymington, moving from outside the area. The vendors used Spencers Lymington office for their sale, and so we liaised with Neville Herbert, who is based there.
Neville handled both viewings, and was enthusiastic, informative and very professional throughout. This continued during what turned out to be some four months of sometimes fraught negotiations, delays and high emotions.
Our purchase coincided with the Stamp Duty holiday yet, despite being inundated with work, the Lymington office handled the situation brilliantly, with us liaising with Susie and Penny.
We have to say, though, that Neville Herbert was a true star. Every call was answered and returned, every query dealt with, his enthusiasm and support never once waned and we can genuinely say that, without him, it is doubtful we would be typing this from our wonderful new home, as the stress and problems became almost too much on at least two occasions, but he pulled us back form the brink and gave us the belief that we could cope.
We cannot recommend the Spencers of Lymington team highly enough, and would definitely use them for any future sale.

Put our house up for sale after having 4 agents value it, Spencers valued it equally highest. Their sales approach, managed by Neville Herbert, was professional and smooth ... without being forceful or too pushy. They appeared to know the market inside out. Having agreed terms, Neville aka David Bailey, produced some lovely photographs of the house. Within a week the house was marketed and within a day of that we were fielding questions from prospective buyers, whilst constantly being updated by Spencer's office staff, particularly Pippa Grant.
Andrew Grice dealt with the actual house viewings, his actions were always professional and Covid appropriate. His advice on the actual sale was spot on and enabled us to achieve our sale, at the agreed price, within three days.

Spencers were a great help in securing the sale of our property despite being listed during the first lockdown in April 2020 and they adapted quickly through trialling virtual viewings and other ways of accommodating our sale. They actively sought to set up viewings with interested buyers.
My only disappointment was the difficulty faced when I tried to get an update after a viewing (to find out the potential buyers feedback and whether they were interested in making an offer) which often took a few weeks and in some cases was never provided. However I recognise this was during a busy time and towards the end of our sale process this was much improved.
I would definitely recommend Spencers to anyone as the process overall went well.

I found Spencers to be the most professional agents i have dealt with. They where highly responsive, managed any challenges between buyer and seller proffesionally. And from what I have seen have high-level of integraty and seem to work as team. I was buyer and but i have friends that have sold properties that are equally happy with them.

We talked to several estate agents in the Lymington area when we were considering putting our New Forest home up for sale. Spencers appeared to us to be the most professional and enthusiastic to sell our home. They always did what they said they would do when they said they would do it. Their marketing was exceptional and produced amazing results for us: 13 viewings in four days; two offers from ready to proceed buyers (one above asking price) and the sale completed quickly. Spencers always kept us informed and offered sound, impartial advice. Not only that but they also found our new home for us. Highly recommended!

Andrew excellently managed the transition of our sale through to exchange and completion, under an extremely tight timeframe due to our onwards purchase. Andrew kept us updated and did everything within his power to secure our chain. Andrew handled a very stressful situation professionally and proactively. I would highly recommend Andrew’s services; he is delightful to deal with.
I would also like to say the quality of Spencers’ photographs and marketing is excellent and, in my opinion, far superior to competitors. I would like to thank Neville for his attention to detail in producing the marketing material and photographs.

My wife and I recently moved and employed “Spencer’s” as our estate agent. I can honestly say this move would not have occurred had Spencer’s not been so diligent, professional and involved. They liaised between us, our vendor and our purchaser and not only that, between our solicitor, the vendor's solicitors and estate agents in what was a tricky, time-constrained endeavor! No one could have asked for more. Now ensconced in our dream home, we shall be eternally grateful to Rob Batten and his wonderful team.

As a family, we were incredibly impressed by the professional approach of the Lymington branch of Spencers to the sale of my deceased mother's extended bungalow in Buckland Rings. Neville Herbert's marketing strategy, (informal tender around two open days and a competitive guide price), went totally according to plan and realised, as he predicted it would, an excellent and rapid sale. The brochure was brilliant and generated well over forty visits within a month. In the end, we had nine bids and a difficult choice to make. All viewings were accompanied by well-informed and personable members of the sales team. Andrew Grice, the office manager, was extremely supportive and approachable throughout. We were delighted with the outcome. This estate agent is highly recommended.

Following a period of illness when we had to remove our property from the market, they never lost touch and would happily provide a welcome cup of coffee.
