Never answer the phone, when you view its suggested to you that there are so many more viewers and offers on the table (lies), very off putting pushy and arrogant manner of staff one in particular. When the market crashes i will blame these 3rd rate agents who are only in it for commission. Shocking,... Read more

Totally unprofessional I made an offer to them for one of the properties they were selling privately having previously been in auction they decided to put my offer along with a property into auction without my knowledge knowing this would occur under the £6,000 at least on my offer if I won the bid I had no intentions of going to auction knowing this and yet they still done it behind my back absolute on professional at his highest level didn't even bother phoning me to tell me what they have done behind my back I'm nearly withdrew my offer having found out there scam like attitude this company should be closed down immediately... Absolute con artist who, once he’s got his commission, does absolutely nothing to facilitate the selling of the property. We were duped into selling via the so called ‘Modern Method of Auction’! What an absolute scam from start to finish. DO NOT deal with this estate agent. Save your money and sell through an online company!... Read more

I have changed estate agents wasn’t happy with part of there services. They was very fast with feedback and happy with them showing people around house .they was hard to get hold off on phone and the message box was always full! We had people turning up to view and they had told us they had cancelled.they told us they would phone us up on a certain day and they didn’t bother to get in touch with me... Read more

Despite having our house up for sale with Stephen Tew for 8 months, it remained unsold. There were quite a few people that didn’t bother turning up for the viewing which was a reflection of not qualifying them properly (time wasters). It was always very frustrating phoning the office as no one picks up the phone. I once called on a Saturday morning at 9am and I was still trying to get an answer at 10.25 when someone eventually answered. I wasn’t given a contract and so I wanted to switch estate agents because they promised a lot initially but didn’t deliver. I finally managed to speak to someone in the office about this and they said I had to give 30 days notice or pay £300. I was reliably informed that I could serve this notice offline. I put it in writing to them and they took all images off social media. My new agent then proceeded to list our house online. A few days later Stephen Tew decided to re list our home on social media. When we spoke on the phone he was extremely aggressive in his manner towards me and told me I had to serve the notice. He was so unprofessional and rude towards me that I was totally shocked. I have since discovered that he has a poor reputation as an estate agent. Would not recommend him at all.... Read more

A very efficient & professional estate agent.
Their knowledge of the market was "spot-on" & their valuation fair & sensible on selling our property.
I found the "modern method" very wise & worked well for our situation.
A buyer was soon found & the sale was successful.... Read more

Property listings are matched to data from the Land Registry by our clever algorithm. Clever as it may be, it isn't always right, especially if a property was listed by multiple agents. The asking price is the original listing price, NOT the final listing price.
