We recently purchased a property that was being sold by Towns and Crawford and was amazed by the amount of work they put in on our behalf as the purchaser. Things such as chasing solicitors and estate agents. They were always very proactive and very quick to respond to any questions we had, and also offered great advise as to what we could be doing to speed the process up. In comparison we barely heard anything from the estate agents we were using to sell our property. Overall Towns and Crawford were very professional and if I were to sell my house in the future, I would do so through them.... Read more

Nice people,but felt that they seemed to value the buyer more than me as the seller.The buyer also knew what was happening before me as the seller and he text me to keep me informed. Also requested 4 times for the house to be advertised on facebook to give it additional coverage.That never happened. Ive not bought or sold a property for along time and wasnt really sure of the process to follow and what to do at what stage of the sale.So perhaps I should have requested more updates as to what to do etc. Positive points nice people to chat to! FIRST TIME BUYERS KEEP AWAY!!! I have never had such terrible customer service in my entire life. They gave us incorrect and illegal information and told us multiple times (and in writing) that we should hand in our notice for the property we were renting through a different company, before we had signed contracts presumably to get them a quicker sale. When we didn’t do what they said (on recommendation of our solicitor) they became persinally offensive with childish name calling. I eventually asked them not to contact me but to speak with our solicitors as they would be available, not only was this not adhered to, the same person then rang me later the same day (which interrupted carrying out an emergency surgery) to leave a voicemail about my professionalism as I wasn’t available and nothing to do with the house. This is the beginning of many many issues we had with these people which meant that in the end our solicitor reported them to their regulatory body. It’s a real shame as it’s massively tarnished our first house buying experience. This is not a priffessuonal estate agent, they are more concerned with point proving comments rather than helping customers. KEEP AWAY... Read more

So a strange review as I was not able to complete my purchase with Lorah but I can wholeheartedly say that this firm was a cut above the rest in terms of service and honest feedback/information. My move was a terrible experience for reasons that had nothing to do with the firm and throughout all the mess Lorah was an absolute diamond. I was actually sad that when I had to switch home choice it was not being sold by Lorah. If the scars heal and I move again Lorah will be the first person I call! I could not recommend their services enough if you want a no nonsense human element to what is a very stressful time. A refreshing difference to all the big players out there.... Read more

Moderate to okay as far as service. Required a guarantor, was given a reference service to use, no one could confirm any info on this external company and what impact this may have on a credit score. Suggested that information is pretty relevant for someone currently building their credit. The response was to ask for me to email 3 months of my bank statements to a general email address. Didn't feel comfortuble doing this, nor was I aware of any data protection in house so had to pull from the agreement. Didn't feel comfortuble emailing me personal bank insights to a receptionist. Was never asked why I'd pulled out, no question as to if the service was okay. Was never we able to give any advise as to what should have been done differently. Positives...fees are fairly low....
