Absolutely fabulous!! Can't recommend this dedicated team of lovely people enough. Moved to united homes after another estate agent failed to secure many viewings ( 3 in a 3 week period) on my property, with United Homes I immediately had double this number within a few days. The marketing/ photos make such a difference to prospective buyers and they take time and care to really show off your home and entice people through the door , and United Homes photo's/ marketing are second to none. They not only secured me my full asking price within the week but are very competitive on their fees too. One of my neighbours also instructed them and also had the same experience, immediate viewings and a speedy sale agreed. I switched to United Homes after viewing a property they were selling and experienced first hand how they liaise with interested would be buyers , they are a perfect balance of informative, personable, friendly, accommodating and approachable, nothing is too much trouble. I've been previously put off viewing properties because of awkward online appointment systems or even abrupt sales advisors. My advice would be most definitely give them a call and have them value your home , they don't over/ undervalue and will be honest and transparent throughout. I have would 100% recommend United Homes to anyone thinking of selling, they make what can be a stressful experience actually enjoyable! Don't be put off if they are not in your immediate area as they were at the opposite end of Sheffield to me and it felt as if they were up the road in terms of contact and people through the door!... To cut a long story short, United Homes are fantastic! We lived locally in Wharncliffe Side and it was important to me to use a local company with knowledge of the area. We had 5 valuations in total, 3 other local agents as well as Strike (low cost but impersonal). The valuation from United was considerably higher than other agents which made me wary at first thinking they may be over valuing to secure the listing of the property - I needn't have worried as we ended up going with United and accepted an offer on the property that was below asking price but still considerably higher than all other agents valuations! We have now completed on the sale and have been delighted with the service United provided from start to finish - all for a fixed cost agreed pre-sale which was considerably lower than all the other local agents who worked on a % rate. The staff are always pleasant, responsive and operate with a personal touch. They are a small, family run business and are one of the few I've dealt with that aren't rude and condescending over the phone. Our property was dealt with towards the end by Kerry herself and I couldn't have asked for any more - even up to chasing solicitors for us up to and on the day of competition. After compiling quotes and valuations from a range of both online & local agents, we decided that United Homes were the right people to sell with. Not only did this local agent provide a quote at online agent prices, but they also held that price for a few months over which time our dog passed away and we didn’t want people looking around our home. When we were ready to get our house on the market, they were able to have it online within 48 hours of the initial phone call. Whilst our home was always going to sell quickly, United Homes allowed us to lead the sale process, offering suggestions when we asked for them, leading to a sale price much higher than we anticipated. We chose United because of all the agents, they came across far less corporate and scripted. They are a family business and therefore have an invested interest in creating a good experience in contrast to another firm that pays staff by the hour. The team are personal, down to earth, whilst balancing professionalism. The best estate agent we've ever had the pleasure of working with. From the first contact and initial valuation, United Homes have been friendly, knowledgeable, and proactive. Sam is an absolute gem and we couldn't have got through our sale and purchase without her. Sam came prepared for our valuation with details of similar properties and proposals for selling our home. She made us feel like she cared about us and that we weren't just stock on their books. United Homes used a prospective list of buyers to gain viewings before we even chose them. That gave us the confidence to select them and we agreed a sale within 5 days of being on the market. Throughout the whole process Sam has chased solicitors throughout the chain, not just directly related to our onward purchase to ensure end-to-end was progressing. This was something we've never experienced with any other estate agent and reassured us at every stage. They say moving house is one of the most stressful life events but Sam and United Homes have taken the brunt of that stress and made the whole process far simpler. As soon as I walked into this estate agents it didn't take me long to decide to go elsewhere. The staff are not very friendly, they weren't organised and didn't seem to have much of a clue.
