Very pleased with the service from Walker Wylie when selling the flat. From the first contact with the company by phone we felt that we were important and our business was valued. Barry was excellent in getting the flat on the market very quickly, arranging photographer, Surveyer and discussing with us the appropriate narrative within days of getting the go ahead. Within a day of the flat being advertised we had a number of viewers booked in for viewing. Alan kept us informed by phone about the viewers. I have used Walker Wylie twice when selling properties over the past 5 years and have to say the results have been very positive. Stuart was very thorough in explaining the sales strategies and realistic with valuation expectations. Both the survey and photography were completed very quickly as was getting my property on the market. Allan was always helpful too when confirming viewing appointments and providing links to feedback from potential buyers. Despite an uncertain market I sold my property after the first evening of viewings for above what I expected and all potential buyers commented that the video and photography was great and was a very accurate view of my home in terms of size and layout. I cannot recommend Walker Wylie enough. They were so helpful in the recent sale of my flat. The buyer (no fault of Walker Wylie) didn't pay up on the agreed date of entry. After it was clear they were not going to buy the property, Allan and his colleagues sprang into action. they contacted all other buyers and secured the sale for us. I can't imagine any other estate agents doing such a fine job and being so damn friendly and helpful.

When I was looking to sell my southside flat, I was recommended I speak to Barry Walker at Walker Wylie from a friend. Having had a difficult experience when initially buying my flat a few years ago from a big name agency, my friend advised that Walker Wylie were an independent agency who deal with you personally from Director level. Having given Barry a call, he took all my details and gave me the reassurance and advice I needed. I therefore asked him to take care of the sale of my flat, and he advised that his business partner, Stuart Wylie, would look after the sale as he dealt with sales on the southside of the city. From the moment Stuart arrived at my flat for the valuation, to the completion of the sale, nothing was an issue. I was kept fully up to date by e-mails or phone calls, and if I needed to contact Stuart by phone for any trivial matter, it was never a problem and he was only too pleased to help. If Stuart wasn’t available, either Barry or Allan were always on hand to help and resolve any query I had. Their communication, professionalism, experience, and knowledge were second to none. The photographs and presentation of my flat were first class on their listing and my flat had an amazing number of viewings, which went to a closing date 8 days later receiving an offer I was more than happy with. We recently sold our property with Walker Wylie and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. In particular the level of service we received from Stuart was outstanding. He went above and beyond what we would determine to be normal service, offering advice and recommendations while we were looking for our next home, and advising on the current market. It's not often you get such personal treatment, especially from a company director, and in particular when the level of properties being sold is so high and time is short.
After we were successful in obtaining a property, Stuart and Allan did a fantastic job of marketing our property and obtaining a great price for it at closing date less than two weeks on the market - we were over the moon. I've moved home several times over the years, but I can say I've genuinely never experience such a high level of service from any other estate agency, including some of the most well known ones in the Glasgow area. 100% would be my first choice again in future if we are ever to move again.

Best estate agents I have ever came across. Everyone who work's there is honest, helpful and have good morals. I had been trying desperately to buy somewhere and was finding it all very stressful. I felt Estate Agents only had the interests of the seller in mind. That was until I seen a property Walker Wylie were selling. I rang them to ask about the property and to my surprise they offered me loads of advice as a buyer, that had never happened before. As a result I was successfull in getting this property, this was my 9th attempt at buying. I grew to really like everyone I spoke to here, they are just normal people trying to help normal people. I was in the unfortunate position of having to sell my late parents’ southside property after my mother had passed away, and can’t fault Walker Wylie for their understanding, care, compassion and professionalism throughout the entire selling process. Barry and Stuart both initially came out to the property exactly when they said they would, gave me a valuation, provided all the information I needed in a clear and straightforward manner, and took a myriad of photographs showing the property off to its full advantage. A couple of days later and it was on the market, where I was constantly kept fully up to date by either Barry, Stuart or Allan on the sale. After an astonishing number of viewings over a four day period, the property went to a closing date and was sold a week exactly after it had been listed, receiving multiple offers and achieving a price well over my expectations. What attracted us at first to Walker Wylie was the very clear business model they use which makes it easy to understand what you are getting and how much you'll pay. Barry visited us and he was very professional but also down to earth. There was no hard sell, just good information and advice provided. We spoke to several other estate agents but it was an easy decision to go with Walker Wylie. It was a very good decision as we were very impressed with every aspect of the service provided. Barry got everything done either on or before time and always over delivered. We were also kept up to date through our online account and via calls, texts and emails. In the end we very happily accepted an offer substantially above our home report value. I would highly recommend Walker Wylie to anyone selling a property. I don’t see how you could get a better service and at a set price that is extremely fair. We actually gave a bonus at the end as we felt it was deserved given the high level of service which was provided.

Our house went live on the Friday evening and we had our first viewings on Sunday afternoon. An offer was accepted on closing date, less than two weeks. Unfortunately the first buyer pulled out due to circumstances. I messaged Stuart who straight away contacted the solicitors of the other people who had put their offers on closing date. Luckily for us on the same day the first buyer pulled out another offer was accepted. Two months later we sold our house (over our home report). My friend had recommended Walker Wylie to sell my flat, so I arranged a consultation. Barry Walker was excellent. He was honest, realistic and didn't give me a sales pitch. He arranged everything very quickly and the the flat was on the market the following week. One of the great features Walker Wylie have is an online account where you can see arranged viewing and their feedback on the property. This kept us very informed. Within 5 days the flat was under offer.
Unfortunately on our selling date the buyers pulled out very last minute. As soon as I found out I called Barry who was as shocked as me! He had the flat back on the market the same day and within a week the flat was under offer again.
Walker Wylie have been brilliant, they are honest, knowledgeable and very proactive. I don't plan on moving ever again, but if I do then I will definitely use this estate agent.

OUTSTANDING SERVICE
Our full experience with Walker Wylie has been outstanding from start to finish.
My house wasn't even on the market when we seen our dream home, which was being marketed by them.
After calling them for information on the new home, I got them out to speak about marketing ours. Stuart was very professional so we decided to get them to put it on the market for us. This was done very quickly, with amazing photos and great descriptions.
Only 2 days after it went on the market we had 3 viewings, 2 of which placed and offer and we accepted 1. So from first enquiry to offer, it was only a matter of 10 days. Now I'm no expert but I think this is an amazing achievement considering our house wasn't even on the market!
I found there marketing fees very cheap considering the service we received. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone selling their home. Thank you Walker Wylie

We would highly recommend Walker Wylie to everyone - Stuart was very professional and gave my wife and I fantastic guidance at every stage throughout the process. Both he, and his business partner Barry, were always available and happy to answer any questions we had, and nothing was trivialised. Prior to putting our property on the market, we also spoke with a few other larger, more established estate agents. However, we felt that Stuart had a greater expertise, and understanding of our area, and subsequently marketed our property in a really effective way.
