I can wholeheartedly recommend the team at Yates Hellier. From the start Ross explained the whole process very clearly and put my mind at ease. I chose Yates Hellier as I was impressed with their promises of a more personal touch than the larger West End estate agents and they did not disappoint. Ross and Lisa were very easy to deal with . They were in constant communication with updates and viewings. The whole process from marketing to viewings went incredibly smoothly. Even when my initial buyer pulled out at the last minute, Ross and Lisa swooped into action and found another buyer in a matter of hours! Our flat was not a straightforward sale but Ross was always available to offer his honest advice, which proved to be invaluable to us. We liked the fact that he was very upfront with the buyers and ourselves regarding our flat situation. He was very patient with us and spent a lot of time answering our questions aswell as the many questions of prospective buyers. The team at Yates and Hellier were great with getting feedback from the viewers and we were always updated promptly. We really feel that a bigger estate agent would not have been as ethical or as hardworking for us. Yates and Hellier were completely professional the whole time. After an initial conversation with Ross Yates (before we were even starting the selling process) I knew I wanted them to sell our property as he was exceptionally helpful from the first call. Working with Ross has been an absolute pleasure and not only did get us a fantastic price (with a number of great offers within 24hrs), he dealt with everything so well and always made us feel like the only client (and I know how busy they are working 7 days a week!). Great decision to use Yates Hellier to sell my Glasgow Harbour flat! Ross Yates was excellent to deal with, stated in touch on a daily basis from engaging services through to the done deal. Put our property up for sale mid November & several offers within a week, offer accepted within 10 days. No time wasters, only serious buyers too which was great, our expectations were met & exceeded. It might be a smaller organisation than the big high street names, but for us, it was the personal touch, the dedication & not just treating us as a number. I contacted Ross Yates of Yates Hellier following a friend's recommendation and I'm glad I did. I was immediately impressed by Ross' professionalism, enthusiasm and knowledge of the market. The big difference between Yates Hellier and a lot of other agents is they are highly proactive in getting property sold - they didn't just stick photos on RightMove and wait for buyers. I recently purchased for buy-to-let a property in Merchant City, Glasgow, marketed by Yates Hellier. On viewing the property, Mr.Yates, a courteous professional with in-depth knowledge of the local property market, readily answered all my questions to my satisfaction. As I was new to the Glasgow property market, I checked out various possible letting agents including major ones, but for different reasons found them all unsatisfactory. It then dawned on me I could use Yates Hellier as my letting agent, so discussed matters in detail with Mr.Hellier, Mr.Yates’s partner, who is in charge of the letting side of the business. He was meticulous and thorough in answering all my questions, so everything readily became clear. Accordingly, I decided to use them as my letting agent. When preparing the property for letting, I received very useful advice. Yates Hellier successfully secured a tenant for my property surprisingly quickly.
