Despite the slow market, Webber's Ilfracombe did an excellent job of marketing my property and pushing the sale before the dreaded stamp duty rise. The staff are always friendly and easy to deal with. I purchased my property through them eight years ago and sold it with them more recently, and in both circumstances, they have excelled. The only thing to note when listing your property is that they automatically list it twice under an Over 50s scheme. If your property isn't suitable for this scheme, I'd recommend that it be excluded from this scheme since it can skew the pricing on Rightmove.... Read more

I travelled down to Ilfracombe to meet an agent for a viewing for the very first time and was disappointed by the agent after 6 hours journey, walked into Webbers Ilfracombe office to make an enquiry and got my first and best impression about Webbers as I got a warm welcome from Emilie and attend to my request instantly despite her busy schedule the very same day despite the fact that I didn't book for any viewings with Webbers, that's how I become a tenant through Webber's. Also Sharon at the maintenance office has been supportive since I moved in and had some complaints but she did follow-up with the right person's to make sure my complaints are attended to and solved. Chased them for 3 days solid to arrange some viewings, we subsequently explained that the houses we had seen weren’t suitable. Since then, 6 weeks ago, we have had no communication from anyone at Webbers about any property that might fit our criteria, despite being one of the very few people currently with a large cash deposit and a mortgage offer. I wouldn’t recommend you sell your house with Webbers if you want it marketed properly and as a buyer the experience has been woeful.... Read more
