Found these agents to be only out for themselves. Failed to pay a month's rent and had to be prompted months later for payment. Also, only interested in upping rent when government stopped them charging a finders fee to the tenant. Never felt this agent had the well being of either tenant or landlord at heart. Even wrote into contract (mid contract) that you have to pay them a month's rent if you choose to leave them(due to their customer service in our case!) Strongly advise going with someone else.... We listed our house at the suggested price. Everything was fine until we had an offer. It came through the Narberth office . We were passed on to that office. The lady there recommended we should sell in spite of the offer being much lower than asking price - she had never even looked at the property. Because we had left the country we accepted the offer. Immediately a SOLD sign was put up with very tiny subject to ... on it, even before the inspection was done. We protested against this because it was just the time Wales opened up again and we might have been able to get a better offer. The sale dragged on for a long time, the good sales time in St Davids passed.
We felt that West Wales did not care about us as sellers at all; they worked for the buyer only and we had to foot the bill.... Read more
