Laylah Pendlebury helped me so much to turn my dream of once again having a flat in Chelsea. I loved every interaction I had with Laylah, she was smart and on the ball. She was incredibly customer focused, quick and attentive, with a lovely attitude and sense of humour. Laylah’s administrative input was seamless and I liked Wilford’s no fuss approach to navigating the references and legal contract signing. Laylah is a great listener, always keen to help and she quickly resolved the few minor concerns that I brought up, for example ensuring that all lights were on dimmer switches. As a landlord, I have been using the Wilfords property management service for several years and their lettings service more recently. I only have good things to say about them. As someone who lives and works outside the UK they provide me with peace of mind that my properties and tenants are being properly taken care of. That is very important to me. They have excellent local market knowledge and are often my sounding board when I would like a more realistic view on trends in the local lettings and sales markets. They are easily contactable and respond promptly to my calls and emails unlike other agencies I have used. Highly recommended.

I was scheduled in for an appointment at 12pm today, only to be notified an hour or so beforehand that all offers had been sent to the landlord, and my viewing was cancelled. I had put a lot of effort into changing my schedule in order to accommodate these plans.
After being nonchalantly let down over the phone afterwards, I felt that no effort was made to accept responsibility for this unprofessional approach.
This is NOT how to treat people, and NOT how to do business.
Very very infuriating and disappointing.

I think for the purposes of integrity, you should perhaps not put through offers to landlords when there are outstanding viewings scheduled which need honoring. I freed up an entire morning to accommodate this arrangement.

Honestly can’t recommend Geoff enough-a truly rare combination in the estate agency world of both exceptionally nice guy and exceptionally good salesman.
Sold our house in a part of London (SW11) that is not necessarily his typical stomping ground for 15% over asking price and 10% more than any of the offers from the leading local agent in the area who was jointly marketing the property.
Worth his weight in gold in my opinion.

I worked with George at Wilford's for some time looking for a property to let. George was professional, helpful, friendly and went out of his way to try and accommodate my schedule, my budget and my needs. I was working with other agencies at the time and George was consistently the most reliable and best of all the agents that I worked with. The properties that Wilford's had were usually quite nice and they seem to have a strong relationship with the landlords that I would expect would come in handy.
Unfortunately, my moving schedule did not coincide with vacancies in appropriate properties they had at the time, so I was unable to secure a flat with them, however I would not hesitate to recommend them for anyone looking.

Wilfords was not the first place that came to mind when I needed to rent the house, however having tried two of the largest agencies with unhappy results a friend of mine referred me to Simon at Wilfords. Simon made a prompt appointment and set to work immediately. Mine was not an easy
house to market since I was only in the U.K. for two months and was still in discussions with the County Council re. the numbering of the house. This did not deter Simon, and he shortly found two very suitable tenants who were willing to work with him on moving dates.
Once he realized that neither my planning consultant nor I were making any headway with the County Council, he offered to take the matter on himself. In two days he had accomplished more than we had in two months, and we were well on our way to getting our permit.
Simon was exceptional, discussing potential tenants with me, getting a fair lease for both myself and the tenants and problem solving all the additional issues. If you want somebody who will give you his full attention, I couldn’t recommend Simon or Wilfords more highly, and am sure that you like myself will be extremely happy with the results.!
