Negligent, lying and careless! They lied about the noise levels before signing the rental agreement, I specifically asked about the noise during my viewing. 2 weeks later the owner of the building (also my landlord) started construction noise and this wasn’t done on a whim, the letting agents surely knew but chose to ignore i. I issued a council complaint 3 times and recorded the noise and complained to Hamptons countless times. No help. My mental health declined due to lack of sleep due to noise - yes construction going on at night! I took 2 months off from work due to stress and lack of sleep, no help from Hamptons in trying to sort this, they just casually brushed it off, I spent most of my time away from the flat to avoid the loud construction noise - it was that bad. Long story short, the stress from this has had medical consequences and if I have a case to take legal action I certainly will. Additionally, the wardrobe rail collapsed on me, the 25th year old washing machine ruined 2 sets of washing and the shoddy landlord they’ve engaged with refused to offer a refund- even the engineer said he didn’t have the tools to fix such an old machine. The person hamptons hired to fix the wardrobe rail was abusive - police report filed. In short, Hamptons have not only ignored these issues I raised but they actively encouraged bad behaviour from the landlord by not putting a stop to his ridiculous behaviour such as loud construction noise at night! It’s impacted my health and I’m glad I’m not living there anymore. You all should be ashamed of yourselves for treating tenants in this way - in particular the management team for allowing such negligence to take place. Shameful

I have talked to dozens of agents in London, and I kid you not - it is imperative that you find Colette to help you with the entire process, if you are looking for a place in London. You can count on her attentiveness and sweetness, and your messages are always replied promptly, whether during the business hours or not. I would have been landed with a much inferior property if not for her.

Colette helped my family and I move into a new home recently. Absolute 5 star service.

After very many years as a Landlord in London I would very much like to share the truly excellent experience I enjoyed recently when using Hamptons, for the very first time, as letting agents for my Kensington flat.
In particular I cannot sufficiently highly recommend Adam Baker, Assistant Head of Lettings, who handled everything so rapidly in an outstandingly professional manner and who was, despite the inevitable pressure of work at this high season time, always readily accessible by phone and available to do whatever was required to ensure all queries and paperwork were dealt with in record time and the contract details agreed to everyone's satisfaction.

Worst experience ever. Rented for 3 months, a week into the rental a scaffolding was built because they’d renovate the whole building. Noise the whole time. Everyone was aware of it but the agency did not tell us in advance (would never have chosen the flat if that was informed). The day we moved in the flat was not clean at all, so had to move in a day later. One star is quite a lot here, as they could have not cared less about the whole situation.

I previously dealt with Ben DiGennaro, though I didn't take the property because of the decadent standard - an unfortunate yet common theme in the majority of rental property across London as consequence of FDI. I really liked Bens affable and professional persona, dissimilar to the conventional 'professional estate agent' who will think you need assistance to identify water and will tell you the sky is brown - if that's what you want to hear. Ben is thus professional in the most admirable sense and I would highly recommend working with him, so make sure you ask for him if you have any enquiries that you want straight answers to.

Ben de Gennaro has gone above and beyond for me with my current tenancy as due to covid restrictions I could not be there for the new tenants check in. Ben went out of his way to send photographs of the interior post the last tenants so I could organise maintenance works and then was my eyes and ears on how the works were handled. He came to my assistance when the fire and smoke alarm went missing a day before the new tenancy and procured it for me. He also assisted with finding a new gas safety contractor when there was an issue with one I had located. He is 100% the reason I would continue to let my property via Hamptons. Always courteous and professional and calm even when things were going wrong so close to new tenancy start.

Benedetto helped me find the perfect flat and got all the documents done over a weekend! Two weeks before I was supposed to move, the flat I was supposed to move into fell through (with another estate agent). I called Benedetto on a Saturday morning feeling completely hopeless and by Monday I was reviewing his lettings agreement. Benedetto also personally made sure that the flat was cleaned to a professional standard, spotlights were fixed, and everything I requested in the offer conditions was met before the move-in date. Benedetto is a true professional and he genuinely cares. When I discovered that I couldn’t get the keys until the afternoon of the check-in date, I asked if it were possible to see the flat the day before to take measurements. Benedetto responded right away and made it possible.

There were a few hiccups on the landlord side, which could have led to a delay in moving in, but Ben was quick to coordinate and resolve them. This is the worst property management company we ever worked with. We moved in our new 4 bed flat a month ago and since then they completely disregarded our emails with a list of things to fix which where not properly working when we moved in. Having just moved here from the States there was a lot of transitioning to handle, and since my first interaction via RightMove for an interested rental property, my experience has been outstanding. From the original viewing to offer process to communications with the Landlord to the move-in, the communication with the Hampton’s team has been professional, efficient, reliable, and timely. From moving in to the apartment I can say the service from Hamptons had been very helpful and responsive. Jenny had always been professional, courteous and great during the tenancy progression and after commencement with a few issues that came to light with the apartment.
Sadly when I moved out Hamptons were very unhelpful in returning my deposit and over paid rent. I had to constantly call and email to get the money back.

During our search we worked with about 20 different agents over 2 months. Many we worked with were pushy, overly enthusiastic and some just downright arrogant and exhausting. Annabel was the last agent we worked with and was quite the opposite. Professional but friendly, and while giving us all the details we wanted for the flat, she also gave us privacy to view and discuss the flat alone. I would highly recommend working with her.

Every enterprise’s success always comes down to the people who work in it. Amy Goldstein is absolutely great. Easy to reach, helpful, polite and professional. Very good experience. The Kensington branch manager Paul Anderson, however, has been surprisingly rude and unhelpful in emergencies. I would definitely not rent through him - but Hamptons overall has been absolutely fine.

We worked with Simon Horne whom we found to be professional, attentive to detail, responsive, and most importantly understood our requirements for letting a flat in the area. We unfortunately have had poor experiences with other property management companies and would suggest you only work with Hamptons. They won't disappoint and request Simon. He's the best!

Horrible experience. My partner and I had shcedueled a viewing, the agent responsible never showed up. After traveling one hour to see the property we had to contact the office due to no one showing up and they had no idea about us wanting to view the property. Keeping in mind we had received a confirmation email with date and time. The only employee working at the time rushed to show us the property, we had to locate the flat and once we entered we quickly realized there was a person alseep in the bedroom who was also not aware of the viewing. Truly an uncofortable situation and one that will serve for us to never use Hamtons International.

I am shocked at their attitude to customers. Such a low lever could hardly be expected from a company that is positioning self rather high on the market. It started off with me popping by their Kensington office. I left my contacts and one of their receptionists promised I would be shortly contacted by one of agents. However it had never happened and I called them the following day only to find out they request had never been processed. However new person (Charlotte) promised to send me available options. Which she has not done up until now. Seriously, why to treat your customers with such a neglect? I have a feeling they are not interested in finding new clients or doing their job. So ended up with Foxtons.

Sadly, I have updated the review from 5 stars to 2 stars, as Olivia has left and the rest of the Hamptons team have performed very poorly. Non-responsive, and generally very unhelpful. As a tenant, they have acted very underhandedly and at times not in good faith and with a view of facilitating a friendly relationship with b/w landlord and tenant.

I have been a client of Hamptons International for about three years when my family and I purchased some buy to let properties at Clapham Junction. I did make a complaint re the turnaround time on some requests and Hamptons responded by opening another office at Battersea. All in all good service on the sales side and property management side.
I did also utilise the interior solutions of Hamptons who were very good. We had a leak within the floor in one of the properties which was investigated and rectified. After which the interior was made good and updated. Within two weeks Hamptons managed to let out the property. However there were some queries I left with the interior solutions which were not answered, probably a lack of workforce in that department.
