I am a buyer of residential properties for BTL investments and have been so for a few years now. The purchase process for residential properties in England is quite involved, tricky, and full of uncertainties until the contracts are signed. For my latest purchase, I dealt with Mandy Spence of William H Brown, Bulwell office and I can say that it was a very positive experience. Normally buyers get all manners of excuses and fobbing off from selling estate agents but from Mandy, I only got straight and factual information which was so helpful. I will definitely consider another purchase when time and opportunity are right. Meanwhile, I wish Mandy all the best.

Shocking, an absolute shambles! No communication, no service! Emailed to confirm we wanted the listing taking down from all platforms at the end of the contract 24/06- over a month later (today) they are stilling listing our house! Called and was basically called a liar about informing them, even though Jo Fowler replied to the email we sent, confirming us they would take it down - I don’t know how they are still in business!!! IF I COULD HAVE SELECTED ZERO STARS, I WOULD HAVE.

My experience was not very good with this estate agents
They sell the service high but do not deliver, no regular contact on sales strategy.
No pro-active updates obtained or action taken.
You are treated like a number and not a person.
Once exchanged I didn't receive a call from the branch and neither on completion.
Yet my vendors estate agent did
Very disappointing.

Poor service from start to finish, taken over 30 weeks to complete. Support was poor from all staff and refused to admit there failures in why it had taken so long to complete. Still waiting on area manger to acknowledge our complaint and has ignored us. didn't have the common decency to call us to say the house sale had completed, had to chase my solicitor to confirm this.

Emailed them twice, and offered 5000 over the asking price, March 2023 for 44 Mildenhall hall crescent, and I've been ignored. Think and been told they are like this and tend to have buyers in line before they advertise property.

The manager Jo Fowler is a disgrace to the Bulwell office dressing inappropriately in a short dress with her legs out and also leaving viewers outside when they're on time for appointments, then when being asked to come back to the property she has disgusting manners over the phone and had the audacity to say we were late and that she isn't returning to the property to let is view! Absolutely shocking customer service i don't know how someone like this 'lady' would be employed in such a senior role.

William H Brown (Bulwell) is amazing. They have been so helpful through the process of buying a house. We have never done this before so we're worried and nervous and we didn't no what to expect. Melissa is amazing she talked through everything and explained everything in lengths of details. She even answered my questions when she was not even at work! If Melissa was off and we needed to contact the office someone else picked it up immediately and knew everything about the case so we didn't have to explain anything. We would 100% recommend William H Brown as the customer service and experience has been absolutely incredible.

What can I say about the team at William H Brown (Bulwell branch)except FANTASTIC! When Jo came out to do our valuation, she was very professional, knowledgeable about the area and very personable. She made us feel completely at ease. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the team. Mandy is also very approachable, professional and keeps you up to date every step of the way. We had a few people come to gives us valuations but opted for William H Brown because they're local (good to support the local economy these days) and because of Jo. Hands down the best of the bunch. i decided to move into this property and let them sell my existing home which they sold to the first viewer, over asking price. I was originally with William H Brown but felt they failed me on so many levels that I changed estate agents. I was having to get in contact with them about viewings there was no feed back, I had more cancellations than viewings. My house went on the market in September and the only contact I had Was from the estate agent himself which was in the December to ask me to drop the price which I did. After two more months of having yet no more contact I decided to change estate agents and got a sale within 3 months with obviously the right advertising and the right estate agent doing the job.

Jason and his team are outstanding. They are efficient, passionate about properties, well organised and very friendly. Their approach is the best that we have experienced.
They are experts about the areas in which they represent which meant that their advice was accurate and helpful.
We had a quick sale; both the buyers and we as the sellers were happy with the service. They got back to us immediately when we had a query - communication skills are impeccable.
Also, a quick mention that all the office team are wonderful; we had the pleasure of being assisted by Leonni and she made the whole process a delight.

I cannot tell you how much less stressful the house purchase process was thanks to Leonni and Jason, especially as it was getting close to Christmas. I'm a first time buyer (or was until a month ago) and there were a lot of unknowns that could have caused a lot more issues without the team. I'd gone for a cheaper solicitor that I felt were doing the absolute minimum, but I just didn't have to worry about so much because I felt like Leonni was fighting my corner, as well as the vendors. I'm finally getting settled into the house now and will definitely be giving them a big thank you present soon!

However I would have 5 stars just the only thing that let them down was communication wasn't the best as whenever we called if we was told they would get back to us they never did. Thought Richard Fenton was very good. However was not impressed with them overall. I always had to initiate phone calls and actually ask about the feedback! I was invited to open house and again was not asked about my feedback. Ask for sign to be taken down and it took them ages. I really thought the service was of poor quality. Yes you get the obligatory smiling pretty girl but that was about as deep as it goes!

Richard and Sarah and the rest of the team were absolutely excellent. Richard was professional but friendly and gave very good advice relating to the sale of our property - we received an offer within a couple of hours of the open day. Sarah continually kept up to date with the sale and contacted us at least twice a week to let us know how things were progressing. Used these to buy a house and the whole experience was a complete pain. It felt like it was the first house they had ever sold or something
and the level of marketing nonsense talk was unreal. Even basic things like responding to emails or phone calls they couldn't do. They are all nice in the beginning to pull you in and then once you have invested money and they know its unlikely you will back out they change completely. It becomes all about maximum profit and nothing more and they think that you are that stupid you don't understand the game. Joe and Jack were ok didn't try to talk the brown!
