Willows were great during the initial process of getting our house on the market.They kept us up to date with viewings and any other queries we had in the beginning(hence the 2star rating)However once our house was 'sold subject to contract', we had no communication from them what so ever. Then after wasting over 4months dealing with our buyers we were informed from Willows that our buyers couldn't get a mortgage on our property.What was more frustrating is that we were so close to exchanging contracts.There had been massive failures and everyone was blaming each other than owning up to how our buyers had been able to get so far along without knowing if they could get a mortgage!?!And our buyers had offered over our asking price too, all while not knowing if they could get a mortgage?!?! Surely checks are made in the beginning stages to vet buyers for their financial status, and to make sure they have some form of 'mortgage in principle' in place.Not to find this out 4months down the line... Very disappointed after hearing such good reviews about Willows.We then swapped to another well know local estate agent, and finally reached our goal of completion and moving to our dream home, and thankfully had a much better experience. Maybe we were just unlucky, but we felt we were massively let down by them.... Read more
