Review of Dawson's Llanelli
I recently had a very disappointing experience with Dawsons. Despite booking a viewing for a property, I was informed upon arrival that the viewing was only for "proceedable" buyers. This was not communicated to me beforehand, and I felt misled.
When I expressed my concerns, the agent insisted that I continue with the viewing, despite my lack of readiness. She offered no further assistance or information about the property, leaving me feeling unwelcome and disrespected.
Following this incident, I filed a complaint with the agency's manager, Lorraine Evans. Unfortunately, her response was evasive and failed to address the core issues of the complaint.
It's disheartening to see such unprofessional behavior from a real estate agency. Agents should treat all potential buyers with respect, regardless of their current financial situation. The practice of limiting viewings to "proceedable" buyers can be discriminatory and exclude many qualified individuals.
I would strongly advise anyone considering using Dawson's to be cautious and to inquire about their viewing policies before making an appointment.

On day of move to Devon they wanted me to deliver the keys to Llanelli office As a widow with no car this wasn’t possible for me and I requested the sent someone to pick them up This they refused
On the days of visits no one came from agent
I sold the bungalow by explaining what was being left and what were the advantages eg on tegynus route
The bungalow was underpriced but suitable for Churchill !!!
My late husband was a chartered builder and the house in excellent condition
I was downsizing and regret to this day selling for selling My neighbors were surprised selling so cheaply as it could affect the value of their property

We cannot thank Sam and Amy at the Llanelli branch enough for their amazing friendly service!
Amy met us for our viewing and showed us round the property and answering any questions! She was so lovely and friendly and really made us feel at ease.
Sam then helped us with the application process which for first time renters we found some parts difficult but Sam helped us through the process answering some of our panicked calls with such a calm and informative manner!
All in all we have managed to secure our first rental property through Dawsons and this would not have been possible without Amy and Sam. From our viewing to our application being approved it was less than a week!

I've met Mel on a few occasions through selling and buying houses, she is a lovely lady, really friendly and very professional. It certainly helps when you invite someone into your home and you click with them. Mel is one of those people.
The whole team at Dawsons are great. Very enthusiastic.
We had a viewing early the day after boxing day and they were here to do the showing around promptly...and shared our excitement when we received an offer.

They find us buyers really quickly, but unfortunately only the third buyers very able to take it to the end. But Dawsons reacted very quickly both times when the buyers pulled out. We have just moved home using the services of Dawsons, Llanelli. Lorraine, Jackie and Sue were our main points of contact - though others also assisted us - and all were highly professional in their work. Although there were some challenges posed by our sale and purchase - due to some snags in the property 'chain' - they were extremely supportive throughout, and made sure that we were kept informed. They were efficient, courteous and tenacious, working extremely well with our solicitor.
Without any hesitation, we would recommend using Dawsons both to buy and sell a home.

I've had some not so positive experiences with Estate Agents but Dawson's couldn't have been more different. Brilliant service. The staff are very efficient. I requested a valuation for the house online and had a callback the same day. Melanie then came out the next working to do it. Again, as soon as we decided to go ahead with putting our house on the market Melanie came straight back out to the take photos. She did the listing the same and the house went live the next day (I couldn't actually believe how quick they did it) We then had 2 block viewings done by Leah that week and accepeted an offer that we were really happy with. (I think the house was only up for a sale for about a week). I highly recommend Dawnsons if you are planning to sell you house.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dawsons at Llanelli. Mel who I have been dealing with is superb. After dealing with various agents in Llanelli - Dawsons are by far the best about.

Honestly, Dawsons Llanelli branch what a bunch of lifesavers! Being first time buyers and going through the whole process Dawson's were always the top runner for estate agents, so communicative and helpful! Best agent in town without a doubt! I was selling my property with the Llanelli Team and despite my doubts of them achieving the price mentioned in the valuation, within 48hrs they had viewers lined up and had agreed a sale at asking price.
I was kept updated at all times regarding progress and felt like I was in good hands.
Unfortunately my sale did not complete but this was due to personal circumstances changing and not due to any fault of this team.

We used Dawson’s to sell our home recently . The first viewer, recommended by Dawson’s, offered the asking price and that was that.
It was not the simplest chain but Dawson’s were constantly on the case prompting and pushing to keep the process moving. Everyone in the business was extremely helpful and always willing to answer questions.
Next time around we’ll be calling them again.

We used Dawson’s for the sale of our house. We were with a smaller estate agent but changed to Dawson’s, and our house sold within a week of being with them. Viewings were organised very efficiently! We went through the viewings with Lorraine and Melanie who were amazing. Made such an effort to show all the best parts and points of the house. Helen then dealt with following on with the sale with solicitors. Which was so helpful to have someone there to keep in touch with.

Overall a good experience with Dawsons. The sale took longer than anticipated but covid didn't help.
The staff pushed to get viewings, far more than another estate agent I used. The process was approx 18 months from start to completion.

I was left in a house with a hole in the roof for over 12 months, after constantly getting in touch with them and the landlords to fix I had to get in touch with environmental health to get the work started only to be handed with an eviction notice. I would never rent with them ever again. Because of this I withheld rent for 2 months and now they are chasing me with bailiffs eventhough they did not uphold their part of the contract, whilst I paid them full rent every month even when I lost my job due to illness. They are a terrible company.
