We had an excellent experience during our initial rental with the estate agent from Winkworth, however the check-out process from the flat was abysmal. The manager of the property, Agnieszka Kostanowicz, was an extremely poor liaison between us (the renters) and the landlord. Despite being called good tenants and leaving the apartment in excellent condition, as told to us by our estate agent from Winkworth, Aggie (as she is known) tried to justify taking two-thirds of our security deposit to pay for fees and "damages" done to the property that were obviously conflated to get more money for the landlord. Be careful negotiating your security deposit with her.

The sellers on our purchase were represented by Winkworth Finchley. It was a truly painful experience. They didn’t manage their client effectively, nor did they understand the legal issues in sufficient detail. As a result of both of these things the process took far longer than it needed to and the seller (Winkworth’s client) lost money.
