After having a bad experience with another local estate agency, we decided to pull out and buy a house that Allsworth Property was advertising. From the start Dexter was extremely accommodating and friendly. During the purchasing process, Hana was very helpful and on it with chasing our solicitors for updates as well as keeping us up to date with any new information they had, which allowed us to feel a lot more relaxed than our previous experience.
They have made buying our first home a stress free and positive experience and for that I very highly recommend them. When the day comes that we decide to sell, we will definitely be coming back to Allsworth Property! Thank you to the team for all of your help :)

By far the best estate agents in the Torbay area. From meeting with Dexter at my property for the first time to do a valuation to the day of completion of the sale I cannot fault a single phase. He is always on the end of the phone, text or email if I needed anything. He is extremely responsive and if at any time he was unavailable then he has a brilliant assistant that helped me with any queries. As a company they took pride in how they marketed my property.
I am also now in the process of purchasing a new property and I feel lucky that again this is with Allsworth property and I have every faith it is going to be a smooth sailing process.

We made 3 offers on a property Dexter represented and he never came back to us. To add insult he disappeared on holiday without informing us after the last offer, which forced us to drop his property.
He is a 1 man band so when he goes away no one can continue to work. I wouldn't go near this company as a buyer or seller.

I have dealt with Woods for several years now as a tenant, I have always found them particularly responsive, helpful and empathetic.
As a tenant you can call them, pop in the office, email them or use their maintenance online portal.
I have spoken to many members of the team and they have always been brilliant, Angie, Joe, Holly and the brilliant Jo made my time with them a lot easier.
Thank you Woods and I would whole heartedly recommend Woods to future Landlords or tenants.

Very bad experience both with selling mine and with viewing a property that was on with Woods Newton Abbot.
Made an appointment with them to view a house local to me which was for sale with Woods Newton Abbot. Turned up for the owner to appear and inform me it was sold the day before. Waste of my time and quite awkward for both myself and the owner.
Had a viewing on my property and did not receive any feedback within 24 hours so had to phone them. When I challenged them on this I was told they were waiting for more feedback from the person who viewed my property; which in fairness may have been the case but perhaps a call to let me know they were still waiting might have been a good idea.
Had sold my house and was buying another (Ironically with Woods Kingsteignton, who DO know what they are doing and were excellent). Was all a done deal when my buyer pulled out (I totally understand this can happen). I said to Woods Newton Abbot "Would you like me to phone the Kingsteignton branch to let them know the chain has fallen through?" To be informed "No, it is ok, I'll do that". Three hours later I phoned the Kingsteignton branch to check and they knew nothing about it!!! What about the poor people further up the chain who might have been emailing solicitors etc, they needed to know.
Gave my notice to terminate the contract for the manager to email me back asking for me to phone HIM to discuss. Anyone worth their salt would have surely been straight on the phone trying to keep my business.
Avoid at all costs.

Woods had my house for sale but the sale fell through. I was given the wrong info about the buyer and also found Dexter unhelpful on various counts. Now Woods are keeping the house up on their website, pretending they've sold it, despite my instructions to remove it and return the key to me. I do not recommend them, at least not for a sale!

We had both Nick and Dexter come and see us about putting our property on to the market. The advice they gave us was very professional and showed great understanding of our situation. It was a "no-brainer" on whom to use to sell our house.

We've been a tenant with woods for the past 3 years and in that time any problems we've had have always been quickly resolved. The team are very responsive and easy to get in contact with. With woods we have also been allowed to feel like the house we live in is our home despite not owning the property (this has not always been the case with other letting agents in the past) and this makes a big difference.
