Wow what can I say first class service just sold my flat and bought my dream home through yaxley homes. Nothing was to much hassle for the guys. The reports they sent over every week made the whole moving process so much easier to understand. I would defiantly use them again and could not recommend them enough. ??AVOID??AVOID??AVOID??AVOID??AVOID?? ITS A SHAME YOU HAVE TO LEAVE ONE STAR! Ricky is completely incompetent & rude! I was told that my buyer was in a position to move in 1 week, 3.5 months later their position hadn’t changed, nor had their position been chased up by the professional, Ricky? I would have thought Ricky, as he’s the owner of Yaxley would have made sure things were on schedule after that week.... After 6 months, yes, 6 MONTHS when the “professional estate agent” Ricky, should have informed us that our property would have gone up in value....but no, he relisted the property at the same price & didn’t even list the property as a new listing?? I said to Ricky, I am changing estate agents & he said he would hold me in the 21 days notice period as, his words, ‘thanks, after all “this work” I don’t get paid’ (very professional) I agreed to 21 days but I would like to remove my property from Rightmove, he declined even though their contract states ‘once notice is give they won’t act for us anymore’. I contacted Rightmove & they said, that’s breach of contract & Rightmove removed my property. Avoid Ricky really, Gary & Dan are fine, just a shame they are at RELAXKEY! The funny thing about this is, Ricky is one of these people in life that you get that never say....sorry, I was wrong.....get ready The defensive & the excuses! Drum roll!!... Read more

Attempted to steal some of the deposit for non issues, took over a year to get it all back. Was given the wrong keys to the property and was unable to contact them for days. Also slow to respond/fix issues, i.e. the heating in the property was never fixed during my tenancy. In regards to the response from the owner, the property was a mess when i moved in, the property after moving out was much cleaner than that, and certainly didn't need a professional clean done.... Do not use this letting agency. They provide unsafe properties to rent and do not fix issues such as electrical and damp before moving in their tenants They do not provide their tenants with the parking permit spaces so they can move in. Yaxley set a very high standard for Estate Agents. After almost 18 months of painfully dealing with Beresfords to sell our house, we took advice from our neighbours who recommended Yaxley's. From the first call with Gary, to finally completing the sale (about 8 weeks later), the Yaxley team have been professional, courteous and attentive. Once we'd switched to Yaxley, we had an immediate sale - result. The team kept my wife and I informed throughout the entire process, with regular calls and emails. I suspect Gary and the team must have been doing an awful lot of running around and chasing to keep the sale on track. I appreciated the clear and honest communication which meant we knew exactly what was going on and made for a very stress free sale. There isn't anything more that I could have asked of the team. From the very beginning nothing was too much trouble, Gary, Ricky and Grace were only too happy to be of assistance. We had a few problems with the chain which was nothing to do with these guys but what seemed to us to be incompetent solicitors, but here again they stepped up to the mark and acted as go between, often going beyond the call of duty. Without their hardwork it would have been more difficult than it already was. Very professional and made us so glad that we had chosen a "really local" estate agent with many years of experience. Grace was super unprofessional and the company lacked effective communication. Grace told myself an apartment was let and when my partner rang that same day and inquired, Grace told her it was available. We strongly felt Yaxley homes discriminated against us. We rang up everyday to chase an apartment we wanted to rent, we qualified all the checks. They long hauled us through the reference period for over a month before they leased the place to someone else without giving us any update on our application. We was meant to be updated three days after our application was submitted. For a month and half we chased this. In addition, the property had immediate move in posted in (April when we sent off our application), and only in June did they get someone to move in. BEWARE!... Read more
