If I could give 0 stars I would. Rented a property of this letting agency for 3 years. Whenever we reported a repair or something wrong with the house it would either never get sorted or take months . From the very start of first moving in we started to get mould and damp which eventually spread through out the property and even ruined some of our belongings, this was only resolved in the last few months of our tenancy and was then told they couldn’t renew our tenancy as the landlord was selling. Would never rent with them again in the future .... Read more

Witlet acts as the ‘Management Company’ for two block of flats in Witham. As the owner of one of these flats, it is nearly impossible to get in contact with the relevant person in charge at Witlet, and any issues that arise either take months to resolve at best - or at worse, never get resolved at all. It’s 2024 and yet the only way to contact them is by email (often ignored) Or by phone - where you always speak to a nice person in their office, but is not directly involved with the management of the flats so can only “relay the message”, which gives the impression that something might get done, but in all likelihood nothing comes of it... I wish I could have given a zero. We went to view a house with them and they sent us a form to fill where we gave all our details,this was after the viewing, but this people never got back to us. We kept calling to atleast update us on the house whether successful or not and they promised to give us a call with feedback but they never did. Their customer service and feedback is nothing to write home about. They really do not care but you guys can aspire to do better. Cheers... Read more

Awful experience during our tenancy. We had a lot of problems with the property and most of them were not solved in a reasonable amount of time. Almost at the end of our tenancy we found out through our neighbour that the previous tenant was a drug dealer, therefore all the problems that we had with electricity and mould. I cannot explain with words how frustrated we were. I would not recommend this estate agent to anyone.... Read more

Genuinely the worst experience we have ever had with a letting agent. They were incredibly unhelpful with every query we ever had. I rung them about 12 times over the course of 3 months to have our shower fixed. We ended up having to get our own engineer out to fix the issue. We moved out a month ago and have only just heard back from them regarding our deposit, which we still have not received. They said that as they had an issue with another property they forgot about us and cannot help us until Monday (currently Friday). We also had a few other issues with the washing machine and the dishwasher that we ended up going straight to the landlord about as we knew that WitLet would not be helpful and didn't want to wait another few months. It was an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience. AVOID.... Read more

We are now in a better position in the life of our business and as such are now renting space in our units using Witlet and the service from the other side of the coin is just as good. So impressed in fact that I am now going to be selling my house using the Sales part of their business.
