A very difficult thing to do, having to sell my Dads house. Daniel & Siubhan at Your Move made this as easy as it could possibly be. Communications were good and the way the house advertised on the market using multi media and 3D technology was very impressive. We don't live close to the house, so they took care of everything regards viewings etc.

After the estate agents not telling the solicitor that I have a buyer for over 3 weeks I had to pay the solicitor extra to make the sale date and move into the new house before my new job started. Also when I asked my estate agent if I should contact the solicitor myself to tell them the buy of the new house will be on that date, they said they will do it just to not do it, which ended with the solicitor calling me and having to rush that too. And now some other stuff is coming up 5 months after the sale. Do not recommend what so ever, if you want to keep your sanity.

I have had to change my rating from a 5 star to a 3 star. The service has dropped significantly over the last 6 months or so. The local branch staff are excellent hence still 3 stars however, they are let down severely by the parent company Bathgate Lettings who deal with the maintenance of the property. They are failing both their landlords and tenants. The time has come to look for a new letting agent.

Daniel was professional throughout and made sure I was kept continually updated on all aspects of re-letting the property. Some work was needed on the property proper to re-letting and Daniel was very helpful, providing good local points of contact for carpets and helping with getting a new oven delivered and fitted. Having never sold a property in Scotland my wife and I were completely out of our depths but fortunately we contacted Your Move Branch Office in Elgin. Immediately we spoke to Nicoya Milne-McLean who put all our concerns into prospective and we felt the stress lifted from us. Nicoya arranged a convenient time for her to visit our home and complete the normal measuring etc. Within days the photographer came and took numerous pictures and videos of our property. Within approximately 10 days the Home Report was completed and the house was listed for sale. Within 10 days we had two viewings and both submitted offers to purchase. As a long-distance, absentee landlord, let a property for 14 years using Your Move's (and their predecessor agency in Elgin) fully managed service. Now, Your Move have just sold the property within 24 hours of advertising! We have worked with Daniel at Your Move, Elgin (and when he was at a previous company that Your Move took over) for many years and have always been provided with excellent service.
