Having tried twice to book viewing seems like the priority of the staff is to push the mortgage. Found the staff to be quite aggressive on this point. Quite an unpleasant experience.

We recently bought a house that was listed with Bagshaws and Laura Roberts was our contact. Her communication was excellent, she kept us informed with any updates and answered our questions swiftly. We had a long arduous process with solicitors and Laura did a great job of chasing them and making sure that things progressed and we got to completion. Thank you Laura, you’re the best!

Despite getting a buyer originally through them (before the chain fell apart), we were disappointed with the actual service sometimes. Absolutely terrible at answering their phones for hours at a time sometimes, and they started to ignore emails regularly as well after a while. Their selling fee is eye-watering and in my opinion does not need to be so high, especially when they arent even answering phones or emails. Their fee in 2017 was £1800 and it is now £3000 for the exact same package. This is not inflation, this is money grabbing. And if they tell you they have a list of buyers for you ready and waiting, I'd take this with a pinch of salt as they haven't - the people on this list will all come back to them to say they aren't looking any more. They then allowed our original buyer to pull out last minute with a rubbish excuse which caused a lot of issues and upset. I would no longer trust Bagshaws with selling in future.

I instructed Bagshaws to sell our family home having had a very poor experience with another agent in Ashbourne. Helen and the team were fantastic from start to finish. Extremely professional, understanding and kept me informed at all points. The process was simpler and smoother than I could ever have expected. I would recommend Bagshaws to anyone looking to buy/sell.
