I was very pleased with the service I experienced with Bagshaws. The process was quick and easy and the staff were polite and accommodating. One of the best estate agents I have dealt with. I would not hesitate in recommending them.

During the valuation they were friendly, but not willing to share any information with us. In the end they valued the property at £10k to £30k difference against 3 RICS surveyors and a competing estate agent.

They were slow getting the house onto the market compared to their competitor Hannells. Once on the market we had very little interest from Bagshaws; Whereas Hannells provided 20+ viewers.

Our buyer initially viewed with Bagshaws; but their second viewing was made through Hannells - as this was their preference. Upon agreeing a sale, Bagshaws intervened and forced our buyer to change with them and told both the buyer and us, that we must change to them. After reluctantly changing, we heard little update from them and if you ever tried to call residential sales, you would never get an answer. We did however hear from them once they knew we exchange with an invoice via our solicitor.

We haven’t heard from them since then; Whereas Hannells continued to progress our sale due to the incompetence of Bagshaws.

They are very quick to chase the money and give little thought to what the customer wants; Customer service was appalling and I very much recommend avoiding them for residential sales.

If it was left to them, I still would be looking for a purchaser.

Tye has been absolutely amazing! Super friendly and helpful with all of my questions and worries. He is always available, calm and understanding which are all amazing qualities for anyone in costumer service and such a rarity for a letting agent!

I needed a flat quick so needed an efficient and professional service.... fortunately I got TYE ALTON.

His communication was clear, timely and accurate - I saw the flat Thursday and moved in the following Tuesday

I was polite and pleasant even when I asked the most ridiculous questions (never rented before)

Really would recommend Bagshaws. They have been very helpful from the very start and offer a professional service. This is the first time I have rented out a property and I was quite daunted about doing it as it’s all new to me, but Bagshaws have been very helpful and guided me through everything and made it seem very straight forward and stress free.

Bagshaws found a buyer in January/ Februaryof 2020 and a sale was agreed later and then lock down was imposed on us.
However, since the relaxing of lock down Bagshaws informed me on 16/05/20 that the buyer had withdrawn from the sale.
Initially I was not that happy with the photos used online and asked them to redo some.
Several members of office staff not exactly respectful; rather patronising when on the phone.
Also sometimes the viewings relayed were incorrect times.
