I wish I didn't have to give a 1 star review as the people who worked here were really nice and friendly to me, but I was a first time buyer so basically had no idea what I was doing, and trusted mgy to handle everything for me, only for everything to go wrong.
Not only did my flat take 8 months to go through (admittedly due to various issues) but now that I've moved in, there are so many issues with the flat, there's a leak in both toilets, the heating doesn't work, the oven doesn't work and it's all costing money I don't have and didn't think I would need to fix or replace.
I messaged mgy to raise this today and was basically told Its not their problem and i should have arranged my own survey. Which yeah fair enough makes sence, but if you knew that I needed to do that why wouldn't you tell me? It's not as if this went through quickly, at no point over the last 8 months has anyone told me to do that.
I would just naturally assume that mgy as the experts in this matter who knew I was a first time buyer would guide me through this and tell me if I needed to get a survey, but instead I've waited 8 months to move into my first home and get nothing but problems.
The flat is so cold without heating that I'm literally lying in bed at night shivering.
It's fine to say you weren't aware that there were any issues in the property, but I feel like you should make it part of your job to know, it's not fair on customers to just bury your heads in the sand, surely it wouldn't have been that hard for you as a company to check the heating and the appliances as you're there all the time for viewings and taking pictures ect.
I feel really let down by this whole situation and unfortunately would recommend any first time buyers to chose another company who hopefully will help you through the process.... Read more
