We had a really sad bereavement which required the sale of a family members house . I am elderly and live over 100 miles away . Saxton Mee helped me at every stage holding my hand throughout the process . Their kindness and patience was amazing , Olivia sorted out great marketing and was always available for advice .We achieved a quick successful sale . I really could not recommend them enough . Louise and the team at Saxton Mee Banner Cross made the process of selling our family home of 56 years as pain free as possible and which resulted in a stress free handover to a lovely buyer and his family. James Mee provided a well judged and fair valuation (which was difficult due to the relatively unique nature of the property) and Louise provided calm advice and guidance during the negotiation of price and exchange / completion dates. Special mention due for the care / attention paid and overall quality of the interior / exterior / drone photography and marketing material. Overall I felt supported throughout by a delightful team of people and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

I highly recommend Nicole Vickers for property photography. She is a true professional—friendly, highly efficient, and self-sufficient on site. This was my first time having a house photographed, and I had no idea what to expect, but Nicole made the process seamless and stress-free. The resulting pictures are wonderful, showcasing the property at its best. She delivered a fantastic overall service, and I would certainly work with her again.

If we ever had to move again, we would change Estate Agent and sell with Saxton Mee. This is as a result of very good service we received buying our new property from them and were more "on the ball" in regards how things were progressing than our own Est Agent.

My father in law had instructed solicitors having had an offer accepted in July 2025 (house sold stc) on a property through Saxton Mee. Two weeks into the sale process he was informed he had been gazumped and another offer put to the seller that was £10k higher. How disappointing that in the modern age Saxton Mee appear to have no safeguards or policies to protect buyers against this unethical practice. Could not in good conscience recommend to any buyer.
Edited to add: In view of the response from Saxton Mee below I have emailed as requested and provided the relevant details to allow them to corroborate that this review was not left in error and relates specifically to Saxton Mee’s Hathersage branch.
