We recently purchased a property through Stratton Creber and had the pleasure of dealing with Belle Holtman throughout the process.
Belle was exceptional from start to finish. I was particularly impressed by how proactive she was in keeping the purchase moving forward and ensuring all parties stayed on track. She regularly kept me informed of progress and worked closely with my solicitor, acting as an effective middle ground to help keep communication flowing smoothly.
Whenever I had questions that hadn’t been answered elsewhere, Belle was always happy to help and provided clear, helpful responses. Her response times were consistently prompt, which made a potentially stressful process much easier to manage.

I had an excellent experience with the team from start to finish. They were professional, responsive, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. Communication was always clear, and they made what could have been a stressful experience feel a lot smoother.

My involvement with Stratton is fairly recent, however, taking all interactions together, I consider this agent to be responsive, professional, and aligned with my expectations, with no concerns emerging from correspondence. The allocated Lettings Negotiator (Jasmine) has been clear, courteous, accommodating, cooperative and willing to address any voiced concerns.
Overall, so far, I am pleasantly impressed with this Agent and, hopefully, this will remain the case in the future.

The agent valued our house and told us that they would get 20 people in straight away for viewings. This was the main reason that we went with them. They told us that they had hundreds of people on their books looking for properties in our area. Needless to say, as soon as we signed the contract, there wasn't one single viewing booked in. Eventually we had one viewing and were told that the gentleman loved it and would like a second viewing with his wife. That never materialised and I was continually chasing the agent for feedback. As we were approaching 6 months with Stratton Creaber and had only had one viewing, we served notice on the contract and instantly had another viewing booked in. Again, we were told that the couple loved the property but had others to view and would get back to them the following week. To date, we have had no feedback from that whatsoever. We were told that there would be a video of our property in the advertising, however, this was just a few photographs strung together with the name of the road over them - they could not get the name of the road correct so even that "video" could not be used. The valuation that we were given at the first visit was one that we were happy with, any less and we would not have put the house up for sale. When the agent returned with the contract for signing, he had put the price at £25k less than that discussed previously. When I said that it had to be at the original price discussed, he said that the commission on any sale would be calculated on the asking price, not the selling price because of this! After over 40 years of home ownership and dealing with numerous estate agents over those years, I can honestly say that this has been our worst experience of an estate agent and would absolutely not recommend them.

Marcus has been fantastic throughout the purchase of my new house, he’s very knowledgeable and was always happy to help.
I initially spoke to a couple of other mortgage advisors for a Decision in Principle and early discussions, but he managed to secure me a much better deal with a higher mortgage amount!
Will be recommending Marcus for anyone looking for a Mortgage Advisor
