The agent valued our house and told us that they would get 20 people in straight away for viewings. This was the main reason that we went with them. They told us that they had hundreds of people on their books looking for properties in our area. Needless to say, as soon as we signed the contract, there wasn't one single viewing booked in. Eventually we had one viewing and were told that the gentleman loved it and would like a second viewing with his wife. That never materialised and I was continually chasing the agent for feedback. As we were approaching 6 months with Stratton Creaber and had only had one viewing, we served notice on the contract and instantly had another viewing booked in. Again, we were told that the couple loved the property but had others to view and would get back to them the following week. To date, we have had no feedback from that whatsoever. We were told that there would be a video of our property in the advertising, however, this was just a few photographs strung together with the name of the road over them - they could not get the name of the road correct so even that "video" could not be used. The valuation that we were given at the first visit was one that we were happy with, any less and we would not have put the house up for sale. When the agent returned with the contract for signing, he had put the price at £25k less than that discussed previously. When I said that it had to be at the original price discussed, he said that the commission on any sale would be calculated on the asking price, not the selling price because of this! After over 40 years of home ownership and dealing with numerous estate agents over those years, I can honestly say that this has been our worst experience of an estate agent and would absolutely not recommend them.

Really helpful and pleasant, I had struggled to get a call back for viewings from some agencies but Laura was extremely helpful and made the process very smooth with the apartment, thank you.

Stratton Creber were the agent for a property we recently purchased and Cherie made it happen! She went far, far above and beyond what was expected in helping our purchase go through and our elderly vendor into the care home he wanted. She was always available and friendly couldn't do enough to get it to happen.
Would thoroughly recommend!

Why agents have a bad name.. Leaving properties online to harvest details and then spent 10 minutes on the phone before telling me the one I enquired about is sold anyway.

We would highly recommend Stratton Creber from start to finish both Jamie and Sue were professional friendly and couldnt do enough to help in what is and was a stressful time. Jamie helped navigate a difficult experience with surveyors and solicitors with humour and expertise. Nothing was too much trouble for the whole team in Liskeard.

They were attached to the auctioneers so did not always tell me initially when they were showing clients around the house and on one occasion left the door out to the garden unlocked. Also I rarely received feedback

Just wanted to give Holly Hasan a special mention. I called into the Looe office on a couple of occasions to keep up to speed with what was available. Both times Holly was polite, attentive and helpful. Although I didn't end up buying from Stratton Creber (hence couldn't give 5*), if I was selling my property in this area, I am positive she would provide a first class and proactive service.
