we have completed today thanks to Abbie and her team at Whitegates Heanor. We chose Whitegates after speaking to a few agents. Abbie was very professional and friendly , giving us useful advice for our straight forward sale of our home. Honest and realistic valuation led to a sale within a week. Excellent communication throughout the transaction with all the team. Well done Whitegates! We would recommend to anyone thinking of selling.

I had an offer accepted on a house through Whitegates; they advised to inform them when mine was sold. The next day they phoned me again to say that the house was mine but if anyone came along who could move straight away, it would be theirs. I believe a junior member of staff phoned me in error initially, as I mentioned this to other Estate Agents, and they advised that this was not normal practice.
In the following couple of months I phoned them twice to keep them up to date with my situation, and I was anxious the whole time that I would lose the house. I phone them a third time to say that I had sold my house to first time buyers and could move quickly, it was then that they advised me that a couple of months prior they had sold the house to someone else.
When I mentioned that I had phoned twice in that time, they said that they thought I knew and that they thought I was just still hoping that I could get the house!
This, as you can imagine, caused a lot of stress, and I had very little time to find a new house.
I would not recommend this company, they need to improve their staff training, and communication skills.

Be warned they have gone out of business, owing me as a supplier over £1000 and now they are trading under martin and co but not paying their debts - DO NOT TRUST!
