Highly reccomend! Nicola and the team are wonderful - so friendly, professional and made the process of selling our home so easy (and fast!), they couldn’t do enough for us and answered every query me or the buyer had. We used three estate agents in Woolton village Nicola our valuer immediately struck us as someone we could count on on. And this proved to be the case, she advised us on all matters as we didn’t have a clue, put us in touch with solicitors ( simply conveyencing) , then handed over to Paige, who guided us through the whole process until completion. I have no complaints about the way Whitegates handled the sale and would definitely use them again.

We used Whitegates to sell my mothers house. Paige was our main contact and kept us updated on viewings etc. We had a lot of viewings and someone from Whitegates always showed the prospective buyers around, which was very useful, as I live 45 minutes away. Lorraine was also very helpful as I did meet up with her on one of the viewings. She made good suggestions of things we could do/ remove to make the house have a better flow and be more appealing to viewers.

I can't recommend Whitegates enough. They are really efficient, professional and amazing to deal with. They helped the whole process and thanks to Paige's hard work the sale process completed. They were the least stressful part of the process and most supportive. If you want to sell your house then use Whitegates, they are more than worth their money and weren't expensive. I was made up with them.

We used Whitegates in Woolton to sell our house in Mossley Hill (off Dovedale Rd) and from the first meeting they were brilliant. We went to a few 'closer' estate agents but we felt Whitegates offered the best service and Natalie was great to deal with. The listing was brilliant and the photographer was very good. We got offers almost immediately and dealt mainly with Stacey, who was great, but unfortunately the first sale fell through (bloomin interest rates). We eventually relisted once interest rates settled down and they found another purchaser almost immediately. They kept us updated all through the process and they even helped us with our next purchase, despite it being via a different agent. We are in the new home now and we can't thank them enough! Awful estate agents.
No viewings in four months.
Never answer the phone and rarely called back.
Lost our keys, but then later claimed that this was due to an IT error on how they secure keys.
They did make a goodwill gesture of £50 to replace the keys.
When we switched estate agents they took 3 weeks to remove our listing despite several messages and emails.
We accepted an offer within a week of changing estate agents and we feel that we wasted 4 months with Whitegates Woolton.

I want to tell you about my experience (Ukrainian refugee) tried to rent a house, was ready to pay for 6 months in advance plus a deposit! I received a request for a bunch of documents, but could not provide a contract to work in the UK as I am a Ukrainian refugee (I am a Ship captain by profession and work around the world). I paid a one-week deposit of 270 pounds and was rejected by the company because I had to work in England (although many Englishmen also work abroad). The company rejected me in the end. It was not my decision and I did not get the 270 pound deposit back. So be very careful when you want to conclude something, you will lose your money, it is very disappointing that even in Ukraine they would not do that, but they will do that in England and with Ukrainian refugees I was very surprised!

Pay for mortgage advisor solicitors and eventually house is not possible to get mortgage. When you have mortgage bank send peoples to check the House. Then will tell or you will get Mortgage or not, to this moment you don’t need solicitors or something else. They just take a money and the ups sorry for this house you can’t get mortgage.

Rude and dismissive staff, I dealt with Naomi who shown me the property and was ignored for 10 minutes as another viewing was still in progress. I have viewed many properties over the last few months and never experienced this treatment anywhere else. Incompetent service, not able to get through to anyone on the phone without being redirected to the call centre and emails unanswered. I second the review which questions the integrity of this company. I also wonder if everything is above board with this company and if anyone can recommend a governing body for estate agents as something definitely isn’t right here.

I am not one to ever write a bad review but in this case I felt that something really suspicious was happening with this company and their client. I am not entirely sure what was happening but from speaking to the neighbours of the seller he was quite ill which make me wonder if he was taken advantage of and misrepresented by these estate agents. First of all the house shown in the image was really undervalued, then within a day of being put on the market no more viewings were allowed to be booked. Then staff member Stacey explained I could not make an offer without a viewing (which is illegal as they must tell the seller/vender of all offers). I then went to make a offer in person to the estate agents office in woolton, Liverpool. After offering close to £30,000 above the asking price, to then be rejected makes me wonder if everything is above board with this company. If anyone can recommend a governing body for estate agents that would be great as really think something isn’t right here.

I tried several times to call this office, I am told every time that all agents are on the phone, I leave a message but no response back. I am attempting to sell the property of a deceased relative. It is frustrating to be told this office cannot get through to my cell phone number in the US. This office are the only people who are not able to connect to that number. I have clients and family from the UK using that very same number to reach me almost every day. Emails to this office go unanswered for days. I called a different Whitegates office today and my experience with them was the complete opposite, outstanding service, professional and helpful. Whitegates Woolton/Allerton you need to look at your service level and try harder to meet client needs. You do a disservice to the Whitegates brand when you are so cavalier with new inquiries. Based on my experience over the phone (3-4 calls) and 3-4 totally unhelpful emails over a 10-day period I would not want your office trusted with the sale of any property.

Booked a viewing at a property and was allocated a time slot. When I turned up for my viewing all was going well until the lady conducting the viewing let somebody else in the property whilst I was still viewing. I had only been in the property for few minutes. Very unprofessional and not very good considering the current climate. I have viewed many properties over the last few months and never experienced this anywhere else. I rang up to complain and was told they book people at the same time - what's the point in booking a viewing if this is the case? I was not not advised this would be the case when booking the viewing, had I have known I wouldn't have wasted my time.

Do not rent or buy a property through Whitegates.I rented a property from them and when I moved in the house was dirty and there were even dead flys on the window sill.When I complained I was told that we did not request the property to be cleaned before moving in!
Furthermore we were left without hot water for 4 weeks,as the boiler broke down.The boiler had previosly broken down and the engineer suggested the parts to fix the problem but Whitegates refused to pay for the parts and just got the enginner to clean the boiler instead.
When the boiler broke down for a second time I made Whitegates aware there was no hot water and I was told that the landlord did not have the money to carry out repairs! as the boiler powered the shower not only did I not have any heating I could not get washed in hotwater for nearly a month.
Also we were left without a valid gas safe certificate for over 5 weeks.When I asked why the gas safe was allowed to expire I was told by the branch manager that there was a grace period allowed in the legislation,which was false.When I advised there was no grace period I was told more false information and then was later advised by the branch manager that they were not aware of the legislation ,so why tell me previously there was a grace period if they did not know what the legislation was!
when pulled up on key points the branch manager would not answer certain points or completley refuse to answer questions.
I would not use Whitegates again as I feel I was purposley told false information or I was told false information because they had not kept up to date with current legislation,either way I would have no confidence in them that they know what they are doing.
I fear that Whitegates are only concerned in taking your money and they don't care about customer service or putting the customers interests at heart.
I have given one star as there was 1 member of staff that was helpful but definetley not the branch manager who lacked any compassion in my opinion and was unwilling to sort any issues out.
