After having my house on the market for almost 12 months with a leading UK Estate Agent, who just didn't seem to care about selling the property, I decided to change agents and chose Whitegates. I'm so glad I did! I received two offers in the first week, and completed the sale within 11 weeks. Whitegates have been fantastic all throughout my tenancy. They were so helpful whilst I was trying to find a suitable property and made the entire moving process so easy and smooth. When I was looking for somewhere to rent I didn’t know the area at all and had only a very limited amount of time to find somewhere. Whitegates helped me to find a flat in a safe area and managed to get it all sorted in just three days. They do their upmost to help with every question you ask, and are always friendly, polite and receptive. I highly recommend them.

Very unprofessional company, I was a tenant with them for a number of years and always payed my rent on time, always dragging their feet with getting repairs sorted was left without hot water for nearly two months with a new baby in the property. Have repeatedly ignored my emails chasing my deposit back I have no choice now but to get a solicitor involved and get in touch with a ombudsman to get my deposit back.

Don't be fooled by the five star reviews on here many of them have probably been left by friends/family members.

I have just moved out of a property managed by Whitegates in Wolverhampton. I can verify that the team of this agency are brilliant, polite, supportive professionals and they do value their clients. I have always felt supported in my over 2 years of stay there. Important issues were resolved immediately and not so important issues were dealt with in good time frames. I am absolutely appreciative of the way Perdip, the branch manager,  worked around my time when I was leaving the property and the whole team was absolutely fantastic in their approach.  If I ever move towards the area again, they will be my first choice to get a property.

I have rented with Whitegates for the past ten years and never had any issues. I keep the house in a good order and they have always been very grateful for me being a good tenant, all maintenance issues are always reported on time and kept on top of by the landlord.

I am still waiting for the return of my deposit, but Whitegates is ignoring my emails. I am waiting for 11 months now. They already confirmed that I get back my deposit (which is many months ago) but they simply do not take care of it. I cannot recommend Whitegates.

BE AWARE! During my tenancy I did not have any issues and the people I dealt with were very polite and friendly.

Once my 12 month tenancy was over and the time came for the return of my deposit I was falsely accused of stealing the curtains and destroying the carpets, which is completely untrue and complete rubbish!

Very disappointed, never come across a company so unprofessional. Certainly wouldn’t recommend using them. What a shame they don’t focus as much on selling your property as they to passing the blame around the office.

About to put my property on market popped im branch but before i made a start my 3 year old little girl  needed toilet they refused and was rude to me.  Take my business elsewhere boycott this rude branch.  Disgusting!!!

Really helpful estate agents, I went into their building after being let down by a different estate agency earlier in the day and told them what I was looking for. They immediately showed me around a couple of properties and I signed for a place later in the day. They were really helpful in the process after, highly recommended.

The people in the office were really nice and friendly, the agent showing us the property however was rude.... Really cold and unfriendly, seemed bored and uninterested. Blatantly didn't want to be there, didn't even get a follow up call or email to our questions...

As a seller I would not want to market with this agent. I was trying to get some basic information about a property I was interested in and the female assistants were completely unhelpful and lazy. No call backs. No updates. I was wanting to BUY! Ridiculous.

White gates (Wolverhampton) sold my property and did an amazing job.  they are far cheaper with regards to costs than the other estate agents and very professional.  From my experience they didn't act or sound like a salesperson trying to make a quick sale to benefit them, unlike some of the other estate agents but proved time and time again that they were there to represent me and the buyer fairly.  I felt very comfortable working with Steven and Jane.  

I would definitely recommend Whitegates above the rest as they deliver what they promise.  Even when things would get a little difficult Steven remained calm and reassuring at all times , thus making the journey pleasant.

If you ever chose an Estate agent to sell or buy a property , please choose White gates - Wolverhampton.  I cant recommend them highly enough.

Beware these guys  are unprofessional and lazy won't respect your time and effort don't trust them with your property. 

It was a horrible experience . booked for 12. 30 couldn't see anyone until 12:40, called the office they said there is some confusion in the office but refused to honour the appointment, eventually agreed to turn up in 5 minutes. 12:50 no one to be seen, no calls nothing, when contacted I ask for the manager he said 'I passed by that way I couldn't see anyone standing in front of the property,.... Well he didn't acknowledge his presence or called me, in fact I was waiting in my car just opposite to the property looking waiting for these people to turn up.. Well that guy is unprofessional, not business oriented, bit arrogant the way he speaks, he did not apologised, but just said you need to come back some other day. either he is in crisis and not in a good mood to do business or he is a lazy man, 

I wouldn't use them again either for renting or Buying. they do just opposite to what they claim on there website.
