Once again, having used their sister company - Martin & Co - many times previously as a very happy customer, it was only natural I use Whitegates to sell our house. Not only was every single person I dealt with at Whitegates courteous, professional, attentive and friendly but their price was by far the best value - a winning combination! Dropped one star only because I had to chase up for viewing updates a couple of times but otherwise excellent. A special shout out to Sarah who, once an agreed sale is passed to her, she is very proactive and kept me regularly updated. Despite the one-star drop, I cannot recommend Whitegates highly enough.

I can’t recommend Whitegates highly enough - brilliant from start to finish throughout my property purchase but I must say a big ‘Thank You’ to Sarah in Sales Progress.
I genuinely don’t believe that I would have completed this side of Christmas without her sense of urgency, determination and perseverance (& good humour when I most needed it!). The process went on for almost 6 months and was tricky at best, but Sarah went the extra mile on numerous occasions and didn’t rest until various issues were resolved between solicitors on both sides!

Our experience wasn't the best due to prospective buyers letting us down and not always being advised on the best decisions however as a whole we were well supported from start to finish by whitegates and they always made a big effort. Each time we were let down they were quick to act and get us back on the market with viewings immediately and I cant fault them for that. Two people stand out above the rest and that is James who worked tirelessly all day on viewings, he never wavered, he never lost any enthusiasm, he made an effort to see the house and know what he was selling, fantastic job James! Very friendly too, exactly the personality you need for the job. The other is Chloe who works on after sales and is always chasing solicitors, other estate agents, buyers etc. She always responded to my calls and emails and worked tirelessly each and every time, her knowledge and fight for the end result was outstanding. It wasn't an easy road but we made it thanks to these people. The fees are good too which is an added bonus! Thank you.

I was so impressed with Whitegates right from the off, we were originally with another estate agent who failed to sell our property for 18 months, I spoke to Whitegates who assured me our property could be sold....and that they did within 2 weeks of it being listed. I have dealt with lots of the staff over the last 6 months during the sales proceedings, but there were 2 stand out employees in Chloe and Emma who went above and beyond to push our sale through as quickly as possible (constantly chasing the buyers solicitors). James was brilliant in helping us with the enquiry we had for Martin & Co who are no longer working from this location. He called their office to try to sort some stuff out. Ben from Martin & Co promised to respond to my email from over a week previously within the next 10 minutes, so we waited at the office for 20 minutes before giving up. It is now 2 hours since then and I still haven't had the response I was promised. I hope the staff at Martin & Co learn to copy James's customer service. It was lots better than anything I have had from their staff.

I very rarely post reviews but would like to share our positive experience with Whitegates Crewe mainly with James and his Team. James went over and above to help us with our property search and although in times like these, we could trust James to leave our house exactly as it was and were confident that we where safe. Very knowledgeable alongside Meg regarding the property market, always there to assist with prompt advise and very accomodating regarding viewing times etc. In terms of communication, the Team never failed us and is in constant communication with us, which provides us plenty of reassurance on such troubling busy times where it is increasingly difficult to get hold of anyone for an update. I will most certainly look at Whitegates for any further assistance with any property needs.

Very reasonable selling fee.
I feel potential purchasers would feel they are approachable to liaise with through booking viewings, asking questions and making offers.
As a seller of a property they have been so helpful and supportive, they have listened to our needs.
They have been easily contactable and patient.
Absolutely no feelings of being sales pitched too like other estate agents have seemed.

We looked at a property to buy, put in an offer. Either the vendor or Jim the estate agent lied and said there had been a family issue and someone needed to move into the property so the vendor hadn't considered our offer and he would get back to me with a update the next day.
However no one has moved in and viewings are still happening, clearly trying to keep us on the hook while they wait for a bigger offer. No updates as promised and no need to lie

I only have experience of them as a prospective purchaser, not as a seller. As a purchaser they offer a pretty shocking level of customer service compared with other estate agents I have dealt with before now. They can rarely answer any questions you have and don’t even seem to see that as an issue. They never get back to you when they say they will and any communication you do have comes across as being complacent and indifferent. I wouldn’t choose to sell a house through them now I know how they treat prospective purchasers. Their attitude must have an impact on the amount of sales they make.

I have been fortunate to come across the services of Whitegates Estate Agents in Crewe to purchase a property. The whole team are always welcoming and nothing is ever too much trouble for them. Nick in particular is absolutely faultless. Nick goes beyond what is expected and when we came across the odd snag as at times you do on buying and selling a home Nick found a speedy solution to keep things on the straight and narrow. We were very pleased with the approach taken when the house was first inspected and a valuation given. We were confident that we would be entrusting the sale of the property to an efficient and effective agency with a good likelihood of an early sale. This was particularly important to us as we live a three hour drive from the property we were selling and it was imperative that it did not remain on the market for too long
Our initial impression has been borne out over the past three months. The valuation was clearly on the mark as a number of viewings followed very quickly once the property was put on the market. A prospective cash purchaser wanting an early completion was identified and a purchase price quickly negotiated.
When the purchase slowed down, we found Whitegates to be very helpful by chasing up the prospective purchaser. Because of the distances involved in us visiting the property, we found Whitegates assistance in taking meter readings and dealing with the handover of the keys to be extremely valuable.
We always found the staff to be very helpful when speaking to them on the phone and were always phoned back promptly if we left a message.
