I had to repeat often to different staff the fact the property was chain free and some of the key points about the property....not sure I would recommend - not pro-active and not communicative!

19th Mar 2022 (2 years ago)Started well but once house was under offer we never heard a thing, no help with finding a property to buy, no notification of who our buyer was etc. We did not find a new property so had to withdraw our house so we wrote to the agent twice and did not get any sort of reply.
26th Apr 2023 (1 year ago)James is such a lovely person to deal with ,from whom you always get an honest answer ,and opinion.A rarity indeed,in the property world . To be honest,I have had dealings with Jackson stops offices in two other completely different areas from Chelmsford,and they have all been so wonderfully helpful and most pleasant staff .. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company,to friends and family
18th Dec 2021 (2 years ago)I have had the unfortunate experience of having to deal with this organisation, they are misleading, dishonest and unprofessional Charles White and his team struggle to deal with any query in a prompt or honest fashion, full of prattle and nonsense!!! Little to no knowledge of market or conditions, just you self-serving jargon to waste your time. If you are looking for property professionals swerve this crowd.

5th May 2024 (14 days ago)Thought some of their approaches were very unconventional & stress-inducing. E.g. supporting a potential buyer’s plan to rent our house for 12 months & remodel large parts of the house as they saw fit, before commirtting to buy the house! Slightly underhand attitude didn’t inspire us with trust or confidence.

5th May 2023 (1 year ago)We rented for just over 1 year, reported several faults during this period of which some where resolved, 1 being the central heating was in poor condition, the landlord requested a rent increase the following year of which we challenged until the central heating was resolved, the central heating failed during the coldest winter on record and we were without heating/hot water for 3 days. As we did not pay the increase in rent the Landlord was upset and issued us a eviction notice (joke right) appears Sage Ward didn't even tell them we had challenged the proposed rent increase. Sage Wage said I was lying, even thou I provided emails with the reports, no apologies were given. In summary from the outside they look great, but very poor services, We didn't sign the inventory as we raised concerns of which they failed to respond. Again all proof via emails held, fully decorated the house on moving out, better condition than when we moved in and they still have request just under £500 of our deposit, Gold star award company that hopes to charge £90 to grout four screw holes? WARNING keep any written correspondence, you will need it.
8th Nov 2023 (6 mo. ago)Our sale experience with Hammond & Smith has been a real pleasure from start to finish - the whole team have been so enthusiastic, professional and really helpful, most particularly Jack who has kept us informed and advised us at every stage. We can only highly recommend them in providing a first rate service.
