31st May 2026 (12 days ago)Temme English sold us the property we are now living in and although obviously had the interests of the sellers, they were always polite and professional and answered any questions we had. They were quick to ring us back if they couldn’t answer straight away. We would happily recommend them.
13th May 2026 (30 days ago)Fennwright as not acted in my best interest upon end of tenancy. I paid my rents and never delayed a minute and when I ended my tenancy upon expiration of agreement, I was presented a bill of £505 which I found to be unfair to me. I contacted Fennwright and it’s clear my opinion and interest doesn’t matter to them except for that of the landlord. I am also your client and deserve better treatment. Not sure I can deal with Fennwright again because it’s clear they are on the side of the landlord and not the tenants

26th May 2026 (17 days ago)Well My house sale wasn't easy! Months of stress! and some sleepless nights.... Our Buyers lost their buyers, lower Chain difficulties attributed to It . All the usual woes however.... I want to say a big thankyou to Suzanne, warren , and not forgetting the lovely Georgia for easing my worry at times, listening to me Rant on about how terrible the system is which feels like gambling! yes i did go on a bit! yes i think they've earnt the commission. Would i use them again ? YES. One thing i wouldnt Gamble on is choosing another estate agent in Braintree, in my experience they have got sales over the line which is what matters. Ps.... i did do a little Jig to celebrate Georgia! Thanks team Brown. Rick

The Wickford team delivered fantastic service from start to finish, making the whole process stress-free and straightforward. I want to give a special mention to Natasha Tomlins, who was brilliant throughout – her guidance and support helped me navigate my first house sale with ease, and I was amazed at how quickly everything was turned around. I genuinely appreciated being kept updated at every stage and always felt reassured knowing Natasha was on hand to answer any questions.

From the outset, Sigourney explained things clearly and sensitively, which made a very difficult and emotional process far easier to manage. Communication was always prompt, courteous, and reassuring, and I felt fully supported at every stage. What stood out most was the calm and compassionate manner in which matters were dealt with. I always felt treated with patience, respect, and understanding, and nothing ever felt too much trouble. The professionalism, efficiency, and attention to detail gave me complete confidence throughout the probate process. I would not hesitate to recommend Leonard Gray to anyone requiring probate or estate administration services. Thank you again for your dedication and excellent support during such an important and difficult time.- 15th May 2026 (28 days ago)After exchange of contracts we received no communication from WH Brown at all. They made no arrangements for collecting our keys before completion. On our moving day we were requested to drop off our keys at the WH Brown office. As can be imagined we had so many other things to do on what is a very stressful day and subsequently was unable to drop off our keys. We are an elderly couple and consider that WH Brown could have been more supportive and provided a better service taking into account the commission fee charged.

Our original sale ended up falling through, which was really stressful at the time, but they both worked hard to get everything back on track and managed to resell it quickly for even more money than before. 13th May 2026 (30 days ago)From when we made the decision to use John and Carter Remy to sell our property, the process has been achieved seamlessly. John lives in the area like we do so was very knowledgeable about anything queried. He set us up with his contacts for initially taking photos of our property and getting our EPC up to date ready for our sale. We sold within four weeks of being on the market through having a weekly open house managed by John and private viewings when needed. After we officially sold we had the lovely Allison one of there sales progressor’s involved she has been outstanding by being on hand whenever needed to get us to exchange/completion. Any questions we had were always answered in a timely manner by herself or John. Highly recommend John, Allison and the Carter Remy team for selling/buying your property. A very professional and efficient team throughout.

She provided updates, and offered support, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free. Which is a big plus for us as first time buyers. Ms Bonita was genuinely invested in helping us find our dream home. She took the time to understand our needs and preferences, guiding us through every step of the buying process with patience and expertise. We appreciated her honest advice, which helped us make informed decisions without feeling pressured considering the short time scale we had when applying for the mortgage. We would wholeheartedly recommend Ms Bonita to anyone in need of real estate services!- 9th Jun 2026 (3 days ago)These guys are the real deal. We had a few agents come out to value our property, but we decided to go with Colubrid because, from our first meeting, Joshua seemed extremely confident that he could sell our home quickly. As the Chelmer Village estate agent, he explained that properties like ours are his bread and butter. Our property went on the market on Thursday and was sold by Monday. I cannot thank Joshua and the team enough for their hard work and professionalism throughout. I believe Millie conducted the viewings, and I was told she was local to the area. That certainly showed, as her knowledge of Chelmer Village helped generate multiple offers on our property. If you're thinking of choosing Colubrid, don't hesitate. I would highly recommend them.
1st Jun 2026 (11 days ago)Alfie was lovely when he came to value the house, the photos were really nice , Then thats where it all ended really. Our house was on the market for 10 weeks and we had 1 viewing, The reasoning given by the agent was because we were on the main road. they stated that they have 350 customers looking for a 4 bed house but could only get 1 through my door. Meanwhile the local agent has sold 2 other properties on the main roads in our village. Yes our house isn't for everyone, because its 130 years old , but the law of averages should mean we get more than 1 viewing.After a month with no viewings we were advised to drop the price by 25k so we did. The for sale board didn't have a contact number on it and it was difficult to know who the agent was. On the day of the viewing the Rep from the agent was late so i ran the viewing, I had to chase the agent for feedback, then a week or so later the agent called again, to tell me the market was buoyant, not at our house, then he advised that we could possibly drop the price again, thats not happening. I dont feel like there was much estate agenting going on in the background, just chuck it on zoopla and rightmove and see what happens. I could have done that with purple bricks and saved fees if it sold.Dont get me wrong, Alfie is a nice guy but the overall experience was lacklustre in my opinion.
