I chose Abode, as from the first meeting, I was struck by Vicki’s energy and enthusiasm. She really knows local market and had a clear strategy. She was able to secure an offer well in excess of the asking price, (which more than covered their fees), after only five weeks.<br>The sale was not straightforward due to my personal circumstances and the incompetence of my solicitors. However despite these setbacks, Vicki always remained positive with solutions at hand and was able to get the sale across the line. I would recommend Abode to anyone and would 100% use them again to sell a property.

7th Oct 2026 (28 days ago)Excellent Support from Elena Louise Austine - We had a very positive experience dealing with Elena throughout our new purchase.<br><br>From the outset, Elena was approachable, understanding and very considerate of our circumstances. She appreciated that there were a number of pressures and moving parts involved in the transaction and was always willing to listen, keep us updated and help where she could.<br><br>She was responsive, professional and easy to communicate with, and we particularly appreciated the way she dealt with matters calmly and practically when things became time-sensitive. She understood the importance of keeping everyone informed and helped maintain communication between the parties during a fairly pressured transaction.<br><br>Elena was always courteous and helpful, and we felt that she genuinely wanted to see the transaction reach a successful conclusion.<br><br>We are very grateful for her assistance and would happily recommend her to anyone buying or selling a property.

13th May 2026 (25 weeks ago)Fennwright as not acted in my best interest upon end of tenancy. I paid my rents and never delayed a minute and when I ended my tenancy upon expiration of agreement, I was presented a bill of £505 which I found to be unfair to me. I contacted Fennwright and it’s clear my opinion and interest doesn’t matter to them except for that of the landlord. I am also your client and deserve better treatment. Not sure I can deal with Fennwright again because it’s clear they are on the side of the landlord and not the tenants

Very knowledgable as you would expect but friendly with it always on hand to offer advice in both rentals and selling. As they say “ you get what you pay for” you get more than what you pay for with this company. A pleasure to have watch them grow into what they are now .

From initial contact, to the sales details - including a very inventive video, made on the only rainy day for weeks and weeks with a ‘Singing in the rain’ sound track! l had several viewings in the first week and an agreed sale within around 2 weeks ( after having been with another agent for 4 months with no viewings at all) The whole process has been easy, efficient, profession, respectful and friendly. I would highly recommend them and especially if you have a slightly quirky property. Thanks to all.

27th Oct 2026 (8 days ago)These were not my agent but equally I have used WHB before and had a less than desirable experience. April- October 2026; This branch were obstructive, deflective and withholding of vital information in a 2 property chain that took 6 long and painful months. A buy to let buyer and my property at the end was empty!<br><br>Crucial information wasn’t divulged and WHB ignored phone calls&caused delays providing answers when we thought we were ready to exchange (multiple times).<br><br>That’s now 2 WHB branches that I’ve dealt with, that aren’t honest and have done a sub-standard job. The buyer at the bottom of the chain used WHB in-house advisor, and you might think this would speed up proceedings BUT it slowed everything down. WHB wouldn’t let anyone know what we were waiting for due to ‘GDPR’, when it simply turned out to be that there was a mortgage offer in place but the buyer couldn’t decide what they were doing, so hadn’t accepted the mortgage and had stopped all searches/conveyancing. This isn’t GDPR, this is openness and communication to the other clients in the chain. The other members of the chain have a right to know what stage the sale is at and if indeed they are willing to wait based on the facts!<br><br>I honestly think if WHB were a different agent this sale could and would have gone through in 3 months. They cost me money and stress. So I will always avoid them and anyone using them going forward.

26th Oct 2026 (9 days ago)Wonderful people to rent with<br><br>My mum and grandmother speak so highly of them and after the experience of renting my first flat with them with my partner I can say myself aswell they are a wonderful estate agents to have.<br><br>The communication is always there and they reply very quickly to any questions the viewing process was great and the whole process of passing checks was very quick<br><br>Can’t recommend enough to anyone who’s also looking for their first time home and wondering who to have their agents be<br><br>10/10

Chris in the lettings department deals with all our tenancies and is fantastic. To the point, no flannel, gets the job done and is honest. William in sales has also been very helpful in what we have asked. Would recommend.

He has always been happy to help with any questions, offer advice and provide support whenever needed. Nothing has ever been too much trouble, and his friendly, professional approach has made the whole experience so much easier. We couldn’t have asked for better service and would highly recommend Rob to anyone looking to sell their property.

5th Oct 2026 (30 days ago)We recently bought our first property through this estate agency and I honestly can’t thank Jack and the team enough for everything they did for us.<br><br>It ended up being an unusually difficult purchase and, through no fault of the agency, there were several issues and delays with the solicitors that meant the sale came very close to falling through. A huge reason we managed to get it over the line was Jack.<br><br>He was incredible throughout the entire process. He consistently kept us updated, chased solicitors on both sides, followed up on outstanding actions and did everything he could to keep things moving. We always felt like he genuinely cared about getting the purchase completed rather than simply leaving us to deal with things ourselves.<br><br>There were points where I genuinely think the purchase would have fallen through if Jack hadn’t been so proactive and persistent. Buying your first home is stressful enough, so having someone like him supporting us throughout such a difficult transaction made such a huge difference.<br><br>We’re incredibly grateful to Jack and the rest of the team for all their help and would absolutely recommend them to anyone buying or selling a property.
